Using the TPP to Renegotiate and Expand NAFTA
Dana Gabriel via gan, Tuesday, Jun 26 2012, 9:11am
Both Canada and Mexico have been invited to join the U.S., along with other countries already engaged in negotiations which will deepen trade and economic ties within the Asia-Pacific region. Such a deal would surpass NAFTA in size and scope. The U.S. led talks which have been criticized for their secretive nature, could be used to update aspects of existing trade pacts among member nations. This would provide the perfect opportunity for a backdoor renegotiation of NAFTA without officially having to open it back up. (story and 1 comment)

Criminal Pentagon Withholding Crucial Information in Manning Case
judd, Sunday, Jun 24 2012, 11:37pm
Defense lawyers for Bradley Manning are outraged that a clearly BIASED military court has ruled against full discovery; particularly, allowing defense lawyers access to an internal report covering 'damage assessment,' if any, resulting directly from leaked material. The world's leading civilian killing, therefore terrorist nation, seems concerned that leaked material had very little negative impact on national security, a situation that clearly favors Manning -- so, we can't have that material made available to Manning's lawyers! The Reality of Mass Mind Control
shad, Sunday, Jun 24 2012, 12:39pm
Mind control conducted by nefarious elites against the masses has always been the stuff of conspiracy theory -- after all, everybody 'knows' it's just not possible to control the people of an entire nation armed with nothing more than psychological methods! (story and 4 comments)

Kyoto, Copenhagen, Rio summits go up in Smoke
pru, Saturday, Jun 23 2012, 1:31pm
Rio+20 goes the same way -- FAILURE -- as all previous summits on the environment. The overriding singular reason is plain to see; the combined force of financial and corporate self-interest sabotage any hope of environmental pollution reform. The singular cause of failure for all these summits has at least been made plain to the world. Disproportionately wealthy minority elites, at great cost to the environment and global population, relentlessly pursue their own interests, and why shouldn't they? (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

U.S. Crimes Against Humanity - Psyops Become the News
John Pilger via gan, Friday, Jun 22 2012, 6:12am
Arriving in a village in southern Vietnam, I caught sight of two children who bore witness to the longest war of the 20th century. Their terrible deformities were familiar. All along the Mekong river, where the forests were petrified and silent, small human mutations lived as best they could.

Assange: "there must be some way outa here ..
pyed, Thursday, Jun 21 2012, 2:52pm
said the joker to the publicity seeking hacker."
Surely it must now be obvious to even the most ardent supporters that their hero 'hacker' is a publicity seeking narcissist. Sure, Assange revealed what we already knew -- that the US is a criminal nation guilty of the most heinous war and other crimes against humanity. But how do WikiLeaks 'revelations' compare to existing accounts in the public domain of America's conscious child-killing embargo policies which killed over 500,000 INNOCENT Iraqi children? It seems to make all the difference if Secretary of State, Albright, openly admits that DELIBERATELY killing more children in Iraq than did the Hiroshima atomic blast, is/was "worth it" -- but does official admission, more recently: "we came, we saw, he died," make extrajudicial proxy murders/assassinations, legal? Study: Renewable sources could supply 80% of U.S. electricity by 2050
Stephen C. Webster via stele, Thursday, Jun 21 2012, 12:10pm
If the U.S simply committed to building out the transmission infrastructure, the Department of Energy (DOE) believes that currently existing renewable energy technology “is more than adequate” to supply up to 80 percent of the nation’s daily electricity use by the year 2050, a new study has found. The Balkanization of Nepal gathers pace
Dr. Arun Shrivastava via sadh, Thursday, Jun 21 2012, 1:02am
Nepal’s leadership failed to draft a new Constitution. The mandate of 602-member Constituent Assembly [CA] elected in 2008 ended on 27th May, 2012 without a consensus as to how Nepal should be governed. Total cost of the exercise came to Rs 8,900 million [roughly US$100 million] ending up in endless blame game and petty bickering. The big issue is identity federalism; the intractable issue distribution of power.

Economics not Sustainability as the Dominant and Destructive Primary Discourse
millie, Thursday, Jun 21 2012, 12:23am
When something is established over a relatively long period of social time -- decades in this case -- the 'given' often appears as 'natural,' as is now the case with economics firmly established as the primary social discourse. However, a step outside that dominant discourse reveals an entirely different critical picture than the many deceptive images presented. The world and societies everywhere are going to wrack and ruin largely as a result of the myopic adherence to the economic discourse to the exclusion of more critically important discourses/issues on sustainability and non-monetary matters. That's right darlings, the world/universe has never been reliant on money or driven by economics, it survives -- long term -- on harmony and co-operative relations, not divisive and destructive conflict/war profiteering for financial and corporate elites. So no prizes for guessing which forces have established the economic discourse as the primary political and social 'reality' today. (story and 1 comment)

Political Flights of Fancy and Democratic Farces
andy, Wednesday, Jun 20 2012, 1:33pm
A crude but effective strategy for limiting discourse and narrowing political choice is to present pre-selected, owned candidates. Take for example the current media saturation on Romney and Obama, two servants of the same ruling elite, and the point is well illustrated! (story and 1 image)

Google Admits Data Manipulation, Censoring and Tampering with Searches

Confirmed CIA partner company, Google, is no doubt concerned over continuing bad press, ‘anti-trust’ charges and its very rapidly deteriorating reputation. It is losing ground to less privacy snooping search engines by the day; ixquick is one of many excellent alternatives to Google! (story and 1 image)

Infinite Dimensions and the Plurality of Existence
quill, Sunday, Jun 17 2012, 2:14pm
It is self-evident that one dimension cannot/does not overlap into another; for instance, the third dimension intruding into fourth or the ninth etc. Dimensions are completely self-contained and isolated from each other though they may share the same ‘space;’ if breaches occurred or dimensions overlapped, their existential integrity would be compromised, they would therefore cease to exist as realms of being governed by specific creative laws and of course any ‘life’ in those dimensions would cease.

Innuendo and accusation in Alastair Campbell's diaries
Andrew Grice via watson, Sunday, Jun 17 2012, 2:29am
Alastair Campbell's 'personal' and highly subjective diaries make the claim that 'CFR' Rupert Murdoch pushed/'forced,' servant to the Banker and Corporate elite, Tony Blair, into the Iraq war! Now think before swallowing; the source is the diary of a UK politician and 'rides' with a given -- few informed analysts and commentators would doubt Murdoch's elitist credentials and his desire to push the PNAC plan; HOWEVER, Tony Blair, the most gushing faithful servant to the elites required no 'force' or urging to unswervingly serve his Banker and corporatist masters, which is bloody obvious. Tony 'JP Morgan' BLAIR, for pete's sake! (story and 3 images)

Austerity for Oz!
baz, Friday, Jun 15 2012, 12:41am
Almost on cue, the Banker and Transnational cartels have utilised their faithful SERVANT, former conservative Treasurer, Peter Costello, to submit a report and of course warn of dire consequences for Queensland, arising from the State's debt.
You could almost pick the day this would occur, after UNESCO's warning of threats to the Great Barrier Reef, ARISING DIRECTLY from rampant Corporate EXPLOITATION and the social unrest/protests over under-regulated CSG exploitation, or toxic 'FRACKING,' as it is internationally known.
