Fraud and slave image Obama falls victim to propaganda Eric Margolis via rialator, Sunday, Jul 20 2008, 9:45pm
Barack Obama wants to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq and send them to Afghanistan, which he calls the real front on the "war on terror." He also has repeated threats to attack Pakistan "if necessary." One understands Obama's need to sound macho. Rival John McCain has been beating his chest, proclaiming, "I know how to win wars." Polls show Americans trust McCain three to one over Obama as a war leader. Unfortunately, recent U.S. presidents seem to require small military conflicts to prove their political virility. turncoat and nutter image Lost Republic: America normalises War budgie, Wednesday, Jul 16 2008, 9:57pm
Normalisation, in the social context, means taken as natural/accepted/given, something NOT unusual, foreign or affronting! Who would have ever imagined that WAR would be normalised in the USA? Yet Republican candidate, John McCain, boasts and utilises WAR rhetoric as a campaign strategy to WIN THE PRESIDENCY! “I know how to win wars,” he boasts, notwithstanding the fact there is no evidence to support his demented claim! Nevertheless, his insane ranting is accepted by the community as ‘normal’ – the FACT he is running for the HIGHEST OFFICE in the land confirms the grotesque cultural transformation America has undergone in the last eight years. text Not funny, ‘Merika! quill, Tuesday, Jul 8 2008, 11:28pm
Every nation has its extremists, nutcases and demented morons; they are usually secreted away in appropriate social spaces designed to deal with the mentally unbalanced. However, in America and the Middle East homicidal maniacs and demented buffoons rise to become leaders of nations.

text Insane U.S. gearing up for all-out WAR finn, Monday, Jul 7 2008, 11:54am
Let’s not kid ourselves any longer; the psychopathic Bush regime leaves no doubt as to its intentions; it continues to encircle and provoke Russia and China into a confrontation. Bush, in typical American delusory fashion, believes he can deliver a knockout blow and take the prize – impossible, but in a sense Bush has no other choice. (story and 4 comments)

kelly.jpg image Civilian death toll – unacceptable/indictable! yarra, Friday, Jul 4 2008, 11:38pm
AFGHANISTAN -- "US-led air raid kills 22 civilians", Reuters UK reports on July 4. We need not go into detail, as it’s now a very familiar story. Whether it’s from unmanned drones, long distance artillery or missile attacks the result is all too familiar. The U.S. today is able to boast humanitarian offences and war crimes that dwarf the numbers achieved by African and Asian despots in the past. (story and 1 comment and 2 images)

text Heartbreaking News! dragan, Thursday, Jul 3 2008, 8:21am
It’ll break every star-spangled heart to learn the truth, the overwhelming majority of people hate/detest/loathe America WITH A VENGEANCE! That’s not news you say, we already know! No you don’t! It is far worse than any American could imagine. Certain government leaders and nations appear to temporarily befriend the U.S. for very self-interested reasons but their populations detest America as does nearly every other human being on the planet! Complete with exotic oriental women, opium pipes, loaded with treble-refined of course, and a cushy job as a foreign correspondent, which enables access to most political functions and dignitaries – I could be about to blow the lid, gentlemen! ‘Espionage,’ a very outmoded term these days, ‘we’ all prefer the more modern appellation of ‘analyst’ or ‘commentator’, hilarious! Corporate stooges, war criminals, and sick bastards image Afghanistan: US/NATO desperate for ‘good news’ budgie, Wednesday, Jun 18 2008, 7:27am
When you are taking a pounding and your whole strategy goes up in smoke it becomes imperative to feed the home front some ‘good news’ (lies) – we wouldn’t want to appear as incompetent losers, would we?

For US/NATO occupation forces it’s ALL bad news at the moment and has been so for quite some time! So, in the absence of REAL good news just manufacture some! However, for lies to appear credible they must at least conform to known truths and realities. (story and 1 comment and 2 images)

natologo.jpg imageattachment America/NATO: Failure at every turn major mitchell, Sunday, Jun 15 2008, 12:03am
The extremely successful attack on a Kandahar prison by the Taliban this week (see link) highlights a fact that America and its few allies would rather not face – and that is the world’s ‘greatest military alliance’ is a fucking joke! Open your eyes to the REALITY not the spin! What has occurred since Bush and his allies embarked on their demented PNAC strategies to conquer the world, they have FAILED MISERABLY? America/capitalism is plunging into an economic and political vortex from which it cannot recover, as has become excruciatingly evident to even the most demented fantacist in Washington today! Virgin and Child -- Beijing image Shifting power and US delusions dusan, Friday, Jun 13 2008, 9:30pm
The USA is broke – that’s the truth, almost all the money and energy resources of the world are in ASIA, Africa and the Middle East, respectively. That is why Bush is running around the world attempting to gain support. The USA is out of the picture in more ways than one. Eight years of misguided (deplorable) foreign policy and military aggression have lost it the little support it once had. The future for the US is almost cast in stone – FAILURE at every turn! The last area of US superiority is the military and history dictates that ALL would-be empire nations that attempted to force the issue were destroyed by other less powerful but united in purpose nations! The U.S. Navy on April 24 announced the return of the Fourth Fleet to the Caribbean, Central America and South America, covering 30 countries in the region. text Spring Offensive gan, Thursday, May 29 2008, 10:00am
In an unexpected strategic twist – opinion favoured an offensive during an attack on Iran -- local forces and militias throughout the Middle East and Central Asia are mobilising for a simultaneous and concerted offensive against the American invader/occupier! A coordinated, simultaneous offensive of this type would smash the hold America has on a number of nations in the region. America simply does not have the human resources to respond to such a coordinated offensive. Nor would America’s few allies be willing to fight illegal wars of occupation on America’s behalf! text Israel must be held to same nuclear scrutiny as Iran Joe Parko via reed, Sunday, May 18 2008, 9:58pm
First we went after nonexistent nuclear weapons in Iraq; now we are consumed with the possibility that Iran might develop nuclear weapons in the future. Hillary Clinton declared she would obliterate Iran if it launched a nuclear strike on Israel -- nothwithstanding it LACKS that capability! But what nobody wants to talk about is the fact that Israel has had a secret nuclear weapons program for more than 30 years and has produced well over 200 nuclear bombs!

text America: ignorance greater problem than disinformation yarra, Sunday, May 4 2008, 11:56pm
Earlier this year I reported on a retired American high school teacher who hadn’t heard of Richard Perle, a highly influential neo-conservative responsible for much of the trouble in which America now finds itself. Imagine that level of ignorance and you will have little difficulty understanding how demented 'senior' Republicans like John McCain are able to garner support for their race for the Presidency. Social and political ignorance is endemic in the USA. The schoolteacher was not the exception but the rule!

U.S. Defence Secretary Robert Gates image Robert Gates threatens Iran, ho hum! finch, Thursday, May 1 2008, 8:22pm
In full view of the Iraqi holocaust and cognisant of the fact that America and Israel are the only expansionist, invasive, plundering, murdering, nations in the world today, let’s call a spade a spade. The criminal USA has deployed another aircraft carrier to the 'Persian' Gulf in a show of force and possibly to prepare for an attack on Iran – China and Russia have no illusions regarding the U.S. military build-up in the region. Uncle Sam may get a bigger shock than anticipated – aggressive warfare comes at great cost though the time of payment may not be immediate! (story and 1 image)

American spy installation, Pine Gap image Spineless Australia hosts largest U.S. spy base outside continental U.S.A Richard Neville via rialator, Wednesday, Apr 30 2008, 10:34pm
[Pine Gap, American spy base located in central Australia stands as a monument to Australian servility and cowardice. Only one Australian leader took the Americans to task over this secretive installation; he was immediately removed from power by the machinations of the CIA and their conservative Australian allies -- refer to a good Australian history book for the entire account.

Gough Whitlam wished to make Australia a nation in its own right but the Americans would have no one -- including the democratically elected Prime Minister – disturbing their plans and causing trouble in their new post WWII colony.

America replaced the British as the new colonial overlords for CRINGING, infantile Australian governments. To witness TODAY our leaders cowering like the servile dogs they are before the corrupt, inept and mass murdering Americans is truly sickening!

The following story, by Australian journalist, author and activist, Richard Neville, makes for a riveting and sobering read -- FUCK AMERICA, the scourge of the world! Ed.]

banksyhooded.jpg image Cheney/Bush/Israel determined to ignite WWIII Peter Chamberlin via reed, Monday, Apr 28 2008, 8:42pm
Judging from the campaign rhetoric coming out of both camps, whoever wins the Oval Office will be inclined to continue the failed military policies in Iraq and to pursue a confrontation with Iran. Apparently it does not matter to either party what will follow those actions, or what these disastrous policies have produced as they played-out in Iraq and Afghanistan. It does not matter who gets elected, whether it is "bomb, bomb Iran" McCain, or "obliterate/massive retaliation" Clinton, nothing will change. (story and 1 image)
