Prior to commencing this short discourse I would expose a major Howard government lie that Australia was a terrorist target before Howard’s slavish compliance to U.S. dictates. It is a simple matter of citing our regional neighbour, New Zealand, as a non (terrorist) target that labels Howard a LIAR! Australian justice prevails against racist Howard government and lackey immigration minister, Kevin Andrews. The retrogressive Howard government has been given a clear and firm message from the Australian people via the Legal system. Howard has done more to damage Oz’s good name in the international arena than any Australian Prime Minister in modern history. Howard and his contractive, backward looking, divisive policies have unnecessarily compromised all Australians who travel and serve their nation overseas. Perhaps the most effective healing gesture for the nation would be to completely remove all vestiges of Howard’s presence from the political landscape; the forthcoming elections provide the perfect opportunity for all Australians to clearly state their opposition to regressive, inward-looking, contractive conservatism. Conservatives throughout the world are only distinguished by the ‘colour of their shirts.’ Islamist contractionism pursues (fascist) central control in the form of a Caliphate. American contractionism is pursuing (totalitarianism) surveillance and the reduction of liberties and freedoms at speed. Here in Oz the minister for communications is attempting to implement information controls in the form of filtering Internet material at backbone or ISP level. Regardless of the area of ‘concern’ ALL conservatives SEEK TO GAIN CONTROL and impose their realities onto everyone! The means vary from theocratic coercion, legal subversions to brutal enforcement and violent implementations, whether the rest of us like it or not. ‘Whatever goes around comes around’ or the Pauline, ‘God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that will he reap’. The one positive aspect of long term Presidents and Prime Ministers is they usually catch what they have thrown and in that sense Bush is catching a huge amount of shit mixed with blood. Even a cretin like Bush is able to understand where the neo-cons have taken him, to the halls of the world’s most infamous and inept political leaders. A self-respecting Japanese leader would have committed suicide by now but the world knows an American coward and moron when it sees one, and what a tragic and pathetic sight it makes! A leaked transcript of a Federal Police interview with Dr. Haneef, reveals that Dr. Haneef denied all knowledge of the UK bombings and that he had given his pre-paid SIM card to his cousin over a year ago as it was no use to him outside the UK. Howard and his flunkey ministers have been exposed YET AGAIN for tampering with the facts, usurping due process and interfering with proceedings for purely political purposes.

It is known and supported by the historical record that the masses will tolerate almost anything from their rulers providing their (adjustable) comfort levels or pain thresholds are not suddenly exceeded. Failure to address this vital fact will always result in a failed mass movement or failed social ‘management’ strategies. Recent history has noted neo-conservative strategies formulated around the above axiom. To effect social change the masses require a stimuli/event to exceed the boundary of their comfort zone. Destroying the American democracy and implementing totalitarian policies was child’s play post 9/11, anthrax attacks and the amplification of tiny criminal groups to the status of international (terrorist) threat!

What does it matter if most of the Middle East tears itself apart, America stands to gain from the mayhem and bloodshed.

The masses are considered to be moronic by political strategists and analysts of almost every persuasion and it’s easy to understand why. In full view of EXPOSED criminal governments, wholesale plunder, global exploitation, outrageous ‘salary’ contracts (hundreds of millions for corporate directors) the people, the herd, the sheep, the slaves, the ‘work force’ -- or whatever other fitting derogatory description you care to make -- sit in their socially underprivileged spaces eating ‘shit’, relatively speaking! In no way or by any stretch of the human imagination is a person who earns 100K/annum hundreds of thousands of times the inferior of a person who earns tens or hundreds of millions per year – that is patently obvious YET the sheeple tolerate that inequity and much more. A view from the outside is far more revealing than the myopia offered from within. We are all apt to overlook the elephant for its trunk or ears when we are drawn too near a subject/object. In such a distorted world, teacup ‘storms’ appear as hurricanes. The loss of perspective is a precursor to the loss of FREEDOM; as the scope narrows, so our consciousness. Few in Oz seem to be aware that the opposition Labor party no longer has an ideological platform; the values of the traditional Australian Labor Party have been jettisoned for short-term gain, opportunism and expediency! Today’s ubiquitous and highly accessible computer technologies have redefined warfare. Traditional militaries are facing redundancy, irrelevance and heightened vulnerability to skilled digital operators. The keyboard is proving to be the most effective weapon of the modern age! Uber war is asymmetry taken to its final phase. In theory a single individual is now capable of subverting a State! The digital age has resulted in a universal dependence on digital technology. The most powerful military powers are now exposed to (persistent) direct and indirect digital attacks – it is only a matter of time before a skilled digital warrior succeeds in compromising the defence capability of a superpower.

Hicks has landed, the Eagle is moulting, the Roo has been shot, the Emu has impaled itself on a boundary fence and local mass media outlets are falling over themselves to toe the propaganda line. The first hysterical element of local reporting is the strained phraseology in use by servile journos, “convicted terrorism supporter … confessed terrorism supporter … Australian Qaeda supporter”, etc. Few media outlets seem to have any idea of the implications of the word “convicted”, which implies the result of a legitimate, legal process; a process that was clearly denied David Hicks. American military prosecutors admit David Hicks was no threat whatsoever, he would have been a “total liability” to Al-Qaeda prosecutors admitted to Australian journalist Leigh Sales. This information flatly contradicts the ‘dangerous terrorist’ image of Hicks sold to the Australian public by Howard and his ministers, Downer and Ruddock! The already beleaguered Howard has suffered another major blow to his and his government’s credibility and ‘integrity’. Howard’s appalling dereliction of duty to Hicks has been openly exposed by his closest ally, America! Perhaps our ‘fearless’ leader should have thought twice prior to ceding the nation to the Yanks. The only one not heeding the very clear message that he is yesterday’s man, is Johnny himself, but as stated previously the genus of rodent clings to survival to the last dying twitch.
