The world today is awash with misinformation, disinformation, disinfected news stories, simplistic solutions, outrageous propaganda and the illusion that warring/opposing forces are distinct. Bush, his neo-cons, Bin laden, Al-Qaeda, Christian, Jewish and Muslim fundamentalists ALL have one thing in common -- they are all CONSERVATIVE!
Do not be deceived by superficial appearances, conservatism is always the same – it opposes every notion of freedom, liberty and spontaneous expression – it opposes nature itself! It seeks always to harness and control by whatever means it finds expedient. Violence is considered a legitimate prerogative for conservatives; they resort to it frequently in their perverted quest for hegemony.
From fascists/communists to the totalitarian left/right, CONSERVATISM lies at the core of all centralist, authoritarian ideologies. So if you’re really looking for the ‘enemy’ behind the veil, you have found it in CONSERVATISM!
Conservatism seeks centralist authority. CONTROL is the principal characteristic of conservatism. At the centre of this perverse and destructive ideology is a stagnant, STATIC/dead/closed model; conservatives abhor and fear the unexpected, they detest maverick or rogue forces!
Freud identifies conservatives as anal personalities; you know them as those types that constantly seek ‘order’ and control. Yet the universe is dynamic, chaotic, and in constant FLUX – static patterns and order have no place in the uncertainty of existence. It is Life that impels existence and life is movement – stasis or the fixed paradigms/philosophies of conservatism are antithetical to Life!
Conservatives unconsciously worship death and seek annihilation/entropy, an end to their tortuous, lacklustre, visionless, morbid, existences.
NEMESIS
One third of humanity derives inspiration and renewal from chaos and the flux of existence – the dread of conservatives is the font of inspiration for others. ‘Creatives’ bathe in uncertainty and find joy in dissolution. The swirling vortices that devour identities, formalised notions and fixtures, reinvigorate creatives.
The world is fast entering a phase of rapid change, uncertainty, destruction and renewal – who is best suited to survive and which human genus faces extinction?
“Beware! Beware!
His flashing eyes, his floating hair!
Weave a circle round him thrice,
And close your eyes with holy dread,
For he on honey-dew hath fed
And drunk the milk of Paradise.”
