An ‘American breed' fighting dog that attacked an 11 year-old Brazilian boy received the shock of its now very short life. The pit bull, a breed known for its ‘lack of intelligence’ and ‘propensity to attack the innocent,’ was repelled by a counter attack from the boy who lunged at the dog and fastened his teeth onto its neck. The boy lost a tooth fending off the ‘unprovoked’ attack from the vicious, mindless American breed.

‘Workers’ at a nearby building site came to the boy’s assistance and ‘chased the dog back into its hole’ – the dog was later taken to the pound to face justice for its criminal, brutish behaviour.

Young Gabriel Almeida possessed the presence of mind and correct approach when dealing with a vicious attacker; questioned about the loss of his tooth during the attack young Gabriel said, “It's better to lose a tooth than lose your life!” Well said, young Gabriel, may numerous cowardly world leaders learn from your example!
