From Slaves to Fighters

Globalisation is not new it has been practised by European and Muslim Imperial powers for centuries. The African slave trade is perhaps the earliest example of economic globalisation. This dastardly trade was characterised by a number of separate nations and cultures cooperating to supply a valuable ‘resource’ around the globe – human beings commodified as SLAVE labour! I would emphasise that Christian and Muslim powers COOPERATED to enslave tribal Africans.

Centuries of horror, torture and inhumanity passed at great cost to the African people; nevertheless, today Africans from the top to the bottom of the continent are asserting their sovereign rights -- much to the consternation of the so-called ‘super (my arse) powers.’

Hundreds of years of oppression imprints the ‘slave mentality’ onto the subject. For example, modern (white) Australia continues to suffer a ‘cringe' mentality derived from its convict and colonial past. Other former oppressed colonies seized the opportunity to become Independent nations and Republics but not so Australia. It remains in a state of national infantilism and constantly seeks guidance and support from ‘stronger’ nations. The submissive attitude of a succession of Australian leaders to America is a source of national humiliation and remorse. In contrast, black ‘savage’ Africa puts fearful, racist Australia to shame. No such cringe or servile attitude infects the African people. They have successfully overcome numerous psychological and physical barriers to assert their sovereign and inalienable rights. Considering the plight of African peoples and the current circumstances of some African nations the fighting spirit displayed by African warriors today is nothing short of heroic; and more power to them!

Overcoming the psychological hurdles that hundreds of years of oppression creates presents challenges for any culture or group of people. How much more difficult is it to acquire skills and assert sovereign rights over powerful Transnational forces that once pillaged, raped and plied the seas with their human cargoes?

Recent events in Nigeria and Somalia (see links) which the Western media only superficially reports for fear of CONTAGION, highlights the WARRIOR SPIRIT that has emerged in response to centuries of oppression in Black Africa.

The ‘MEND’ fighters of Nigeria, after numerous successful attacks on Royal Dutch Shell, Chevron and other oil companies, were very quickly appeased by Transnational powers afraid of the consequences if the tactics of rebel fighters become contagious! We note the numerous oil storage installations and infrastructures in cities around the globe – former slaves SUCCESSFULLY attacking their former masters presents as an interesting inversion of globalisation today!

It should be emphasised that oil company infrastructures are large, sensitive, unstable and extremely difficult to secure -- making them perfect targets for small highly mobile fighting forces. A recent explosion in an offshore gas processing plant in Western Australia had a devastating effect on the State!

African groups differ in their mode and type of attack on the powers that once ENSLAVED and oppressed them – perhaps some thought should be given to EQUITY/compensation in order to reduce the possibility of future attacks!

Somali seafarers have struck again off the coast of Somalia, but the latest ‘seizure’ came with an added bonus; $30 million in small arms and military hardware destined for Kenya was discovered in the holds of the seized ship (see link).

The powers, particularly former slave trading America, are extremely alarmed at the latest ‘seizure.’ America has always portrayed Somali fighters as dumb, animalistic, disorganised, black savages – to be expected from white propagandists. However, we should not forget it was Somali strategy that sent corporate lackey President, Bill Clinton, packing back to America with his tail between his legs!

The fact is Somalis like all HUMAN BEINGS are extremely resourceful and creative in their pursuits, as the latest seizure highlights. Demonising the ‘other’ is a fool’s strategy. “This year is one of the worst on record, with more than 50 ships attacked, 25 hijacked and at least 14 currently being held .., ” states the IHT! And that in one year only – the powers are too embarrassed to detail all the losses they have suffered at the hands of ‘disorganised, black savages.’

It seems African fighters also have something to teach the passive, weak and COWARDLY white American population that is faced with ever more outrageous proposals from the racketeering financial corporations and their White House puppet representatives!

Would it be stating the obvious to demand the jailing -- not the rewarding -- of Banking executives and Corporate CEOs responsible for robbing the people and DESTROYING the economy? Let’s see if the white slaves of America can figure this one out for themselves!

Africans and other black cultures world wide share an ancient knowledge and power that is identified by the sacred (powerful) colours, black, red and white – wherever you see those colours together know that you are in for the ‘ride of your life.’
