The fix is in: Oz mandatory internet filtering

Corporate errand boy and Oz Communications Minister, Stephen Conroy, has selected a group of minor (compliant) ISPs (see link) to conduct his INFORMATION CENSORSHIP tests. Telstra, iinet and Optus, by far the three largest carriers in the country, have ‘somehow’ been excluded from the tests, which would throw into question any results obtained with non-representative carriers – it’s a MATTER OF SCALE, stupid!
Rupert Murdoch and other media moguls/organisations, that have traditionally shaped public opinion, view the internet as anarchic and severely threatening to their powerbase. The world witnessed for the first time the grassroots change the course of the US election. Conservatives were annihilated by ‘saturation blogging’ and relentless, cleverly designed attacks. The ‘people’s choice,’ Barack O’ Fraud coasted home on a digital tidal wave – Obama has since been exposed by the same internet, as a turncoat, lackey and fraud, but that’s another story.
Large media organisations attempted to compete in the digital medium but failed miserably due to their LACK of spontaneity, FREEDOM and CREATIVITY – ya just can’t beat the entire FREE world!
Archaic, top-down corporate structures could not respond fast enough, or with anything near the creativity of internet users. Other methods were considered but none provided the means to effectively combat THE FREE PEOPLE OF THE INTERNET WORLD! So, recourse to an old tried, trusted but EXTREMELY UNPOPULAR method was taken -- AUTHORITARIAN CONTROL and IMPOSITION!
It is now widely known that Rudd, and his government are in Murdoch’s pocket, so the order is given, ‘SHUT DOWN those highly effective VOICES of DISSENT!’ And use child porn as the excuse to introduce draconian measures across the entire spectrum of internet use – outrageous! But how very predictable!
The powers are acutely aware of the gamble they are taking with these draconian measures; the cost of failure would be huge – grassroots representatives may be forced to stand for election on single issues, such as CENSORSHIP, ENVIRONMENT, CORPORATE ACCOUNTABILITY, LAW REFORM, etc. Single issue representatives would wield huge power in the Senate and possibly the House of Reps. Future elections would be won or lost on issues and VALUES traditionally held to be sacrosanct in Australia -- THE DEMOCRATIC RIGHT TO CHOOSE FOR ONESELF, for example!
At the very least, the introduction of 50’s antiquated, conservative censorship in the 21st century is such a retrograde step the Rudd government would be booted out of office – and they know it, but Rupert calls the shots, sickening isn’t it!
Conroy’s latest orchestrated trials reveal the degree of desperation associated with the implementation of information censorship in AUSTRALIA -- a traditional testing ground for the entire Western world!
Take heart WORLD, know how afraid of REAL freedom these people are! For example, consider the CIA supported slaughter in East Timor, which led to the deaths of 250,000 innocent civilians, ONE QUARTER of the Island’s population. Imagine the consequences if angry survivors were given the identities and means to exact retribution on those who planned and supported the attacks. Imagine the legal ramifications in international courts if people could easily access information of their rights, notwithstanding the valid claims for compensation that could be made against Australia, Indonesia and America!
But imagine the ‘worst horror of all’ – THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A REPRESENTATIVE PEOPLE’S DEMOCRACY; God forbid that prospect! We can’t have that under any circumstances!
The criminal elites know exactly where freedom of speech and information access leads – straight to their demise! ‘Desperation’ is understated; even Conroy the errand boy exhibits the pressure he is under!
The People are ONE. (Fear that most of all!)
Peace.
