The inevitability of an Israeli attack on Iran

international / peace/war / opinion/analysis

America imagines it is able to deter or indeed prevent Israel from attacking heavily fortified nuclear facilities in Iran. Another fantasy to which Americans are particularly susceptible! The fear Israelis have of Iran and its current holocaust-denying leader must be experienced first hand in order to appreciate that an attack is almost inevitable.

Buoyed by two previous SUCCESSFUL attacks on nuclear facilities in Iraq and Syria, Israel sees no valid reason to delay what it considers to be a necessary response to an existential threat. The only means Iran has to make good on its promise to “wipe Israel off the map,” would be weapons manufactured at its nuclear facilities; which is why Iran plays for the time it requires to finish the job -- needless to say, Israel would never accept a nuclear Iran.

It is unfortunate that American decision-makers usually get it wrong, as the quagmire in South Asia clearly indicates. Israel is currently complying with American wishes, however, the instant Mossad learns that Iran’s facilities are capable of producing warheads an attack is certain and to hell with the consequences. The alternative, as Israel sees it, is extinction!

Occasionally, private consultants get it right; the scenario described by Zbigniew Brzezinski in the following video is not only plausible but highly probable. America’s calamitous foreign policy decisions over the past decade in the region have created an explosive situation that Israel, of necessity, may be forced to ignite! America may finally learn that it is its own worst enemy.

GENOCIDE 'sanctioned by God!' .."thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them:" -- Deuteronomy 7:2
