Awesome demonstrations of new computer assisted warfare technologies and the resurrection of a new Starwars defence strategy have recently ‘dazzled’ American society. The principal proponents of these ‘strategies’ are the same men – Richard Perle, Donald Rumsfeld and Paul Wolfowitz – who assured the world that the Iraqi population would welcome invaders with open arms and that the discovery of WMDs was inevitable! These ‘experts,’ have only confirmed that they are in dire need of medication; however, they have (momentarily) succeeded in convincing governments that these new advanced ‘solutions’ are the answer for an increasingly fearful domestic population and fearful allied governments – most notably John Howard’s Australian conservatives

When these technologies were put to the test in real scenarios, all failed miserably. A leading scientist described the Starwars strategy as trying to hit a bullet with a bullet. The conflict in the Balkans demonstrated the inability of these billion dollar technologies to differentiate between (painted) paper mache¢ targets and the real thing. Arab fighters quickly learnt to blend into the surroundings and not to offer a detectable target. A US General (retired) with service in the Vietnam war, defeated the latest computerised ‘real-time’ netwar strategists in a war game. In the face of these failures, the ‘experts’ then orchestrated desired outcomes in order to sell their new theology of supremacy to the public.

Millions of taxpayers dollars are now being poured into a base in Alaska for the (failed) Starwars project. Billions are contracted out to weapons manufacturers for more ‘effective’ weapons while the three above-mentioned neo-cons continue to weave lunatic fantasies to perpetuate this process. How have these three nice Jewish boys succeeded in taking the US (and its allies) on a course which history has proved leads to destruction? One answer is ‘spin’ and the management of information – Dr Goebbels would be proud. The American public is constantly media-fed with ‘successful’ demonstrations of this ‘superior’ technology. All insane comments or erroneous assessments made by the neo-cons are suppressed while other distracting comments are made by way of apologetics.

A threatened US population constantly fed on lies, distortions, half-truths and misinformation, prefers to replace bankrupt belief systems with fantasy rather than face the ugly truth of the real causes of international anti-American sentiment. When faced with the 'horror of the real,’ which is the (serial) exploitation and plunder of weaker nations and the flagrant disregard for international law, they resort to denial and acquiesce to the myths of the new theology.

The US double standard regarding bringing state leaders to justice is demonstrated by the Hague (show) trial of Milosevic. Unproven at the time of writing this article, it is alleged that he (Milosevic) was implicated in the deaths of approximately ten thousand civilians. Yet Henry Kissinger – who was directly responsible for a carpet bombing campaign that killed over one million civilians during the Vietnam War – is allowed to walk free. US double standards are only surpassed by their hypocrisy. If we include recent graphic evidence of the appalling treatment of Iraqi prisoners by US ‘liberators’ – we are left with a clear understanding of ‘American’ justice, liberty and freedom!

Any nation which deludes itself into believing that it can dominate the world is headed for destruction. The enemy lies within – it is time for the American people to remove non-representative minorities, lunatics and buffoons from government before it is too late.

Postscript:
The only assured result of the policies of the present US regime is that vast amounts of money are being channelled into the pockets of the few.
