Peace is Earned -- Not Bestowed

The people are once again faced with a very real opportunity to act and change the status quo. The USA has abandoned its traditional 'act' of peacekeeper in the Middle East. Two clear prerogatives present themselves in the face of ongoing hostilities, a people’s movement or another nation filling the vacuum left by the U.S. (which has tragically become an involved party in the conflict). How many times must the opportunity for Peace go begging?

Failure to take action would allow the problem to escalate and possibly spread to other regions. The option for positive change presents itself in every failure of the State – and the State/s have failed miserably in the Middle East. Who could prevent the people’s desire for peace if that desire became actualised?

The nations would have lost the initiative if they continue to procrastinate and hesitate in the most dire of circumstances. There are no vacuums in politics and the peacekeeper role must and will be filled.

Whatever means are at your disposal ACT for Peace NOW! Organise and march and sustain your action until Peace prevails. There are no leaders or followers we are ALL born to PEACE and our EQUALITY is located in PEACE!

Think not that you are unable to make a contribution; at the very least inscribe/WRITE on every available panel you find – take up your pen, marker, chalk or whatever suits and inscribe the word PEACE on every available space and path in your vicinity. Inscribe until the world is saturated with the word and movement for PEACE.

Our destiny is in our hands and there was never a better time to act than NOW! Make your contribution no matter how small you may think it is – write, inscribe and paint.

Peace is earned not bestowed!
