People today seem perplexed as civilisation as we know it plummets into the abyss. Yet, in the broad sense, the future is entirely predictable. The much lauded system of economic rationalism has resulted in huge disparities in wealth comparable to ancient societies; the wealth of Pharaoh-God-Kings of the past was staggering and in stark contrast to the wealth of their subjects. The peoples’ living standards were maintained at ‘adequate‘ levels to ensure a fit work/slave force for their rulers – remind you of anything, are you able to draw any comparisons today? In fact ancient Egypt (utilising modern poverty statistics) would have fared better in the social sense than most of today’s societies. So much for economic rationalism and laissez-faire capitalism! The inequity of today’s economic reality is far from mysterious; however, one mystery remains, the masses of today tolerate far greater inequities than the masses of yesterday.
Who would expect reason and common sense to prevail in societies divorced from reality to the extent that people continue to refer to texts entirely produced by men, as God’s word! Furthermore, people continue to live in fear of these man made texts and conform to their antiquated dictates and their destructive behavioural regulations. There is no survival for any species not entirely connected to the real world where effect follows cause -- pollute or poison the environment and you will kill it and by consequence yourself!
Hoping to achieve Peace by declaring war (violence) is another insanity of today’s world. The nations and societies that pursue such policies pursue madness, yet the people accept the pure unreason and inversions of today’s illogical world.
Today’s rulers separate themselves from the rule of law and commit the most heinous crimes while their subjects remain at the mercy of corrupted legal systems where law is applied selectively and with extreme bias – a recipe for insurrection in the past!
Mercantile interests that also control the mediums of information have transformed representative, democratic government into a charade – yet almost the entire population is aware that the media lies and that government does not represent the interests of the majority. Who would safely live in a world where fantasy is preferred over reality?
And on, on, on, it goes; entertain yourselves and add to the list of absurdities, BUT NEVER FORGET SUCH A WORLD HAS NO VIABLE FUTURE!
