Racist Howard government Exposed

Inaccurate and inconsistent evidence in Haneef case

It appears the Australian Howard government has utilised an Indian medical doctor as a scapegoat for purely political purposes. New information contradicting ‘evidence’ supplied by the crown prosecutor regarding the exact location of the discovery of Dr. Haneef’s SIM card -- upon which the crown bases its entire case -- clearly exposes an appalling fabrication, beat-up and collusion. It seems that government ministers and high ranking public servants are involved in a sordid strategy designed to enhance Howard’s re-election prospects – which are now diminishing by the minute!

Political desperation propelled the government to ‘run’ with the thinnest of cases, which was destined to fail from the start; nevertheless, it serves to highlight the despicable acts and depths to which Howard and his ministers are willing to sink in order to perpetuate the most incompetent and contractionist government the nation has ever known.

If the Australian Legal system chose to intervene and pursue the principal perpetrators of this extremely transparent political tactic it would no doubt be strongly supported by the public. The negative impact on public confidence for failing to bring the offenders to justice should not be ignored. The people are aware that the present government has laid siege to Australian values and the Australian way of life for the entire duration of its tenure.

The public identifies, in order of responsibility, the principal offenders as the Prime Minister, John Howard; Philip Ruddock, Attorney General; Mick Keelty, Federal Police Commissioner; Immigration Minister, Kevin Andrews and to a lesser extent, the buffoon Foreign Minister, Alexander Downer.

As further evidence relating to this scandal emerges, deliberate and measured legal responses for all offenders would slowly restore public confidence in our legal and other State institutions.

Australia, by virtue of its geographic location, natural wealth, resourceful, inventive and mutually cooperative spirit is perfectly positioned to become a major regional power. Australia is easily able to defend itself against any would-be aggressor in the region. Alliances with ALL our trading partners are strong; we would do VERY WELL not to favour any particular nation in our affairs.

Unlike the current prime minister, John Howard, Australians are not cowards or lackeys. The formation of a sovereign Republic would indeed be cause for "rejoicing!"

The Australian Broadcasting Commission originally revealed information of the location of Haneef’s SIM card, the link and report follow:

Terror suspect's SIM was not in burning car: ABC

20/07/2007, 14:34:17 AEST -- Sources have told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation that a mobile phone SIM card belonging to Gold Coast doctor Mohamed Haneef was not found in a burning jeep at Glasgow airport.

The revelation comes as Mr Haneef's lawyer pointed to four inconsistencies in the case presented during last week's bail hearing in Brisbane.

An Australian magistrate was told the SIM card was found at the scene of the foiled Glasgow attack, but sources in the UK and Australia have told the ABC it was first seized by police eight hours later when Mr Haneef's cousin, Sabeel Ahmed, was arrested in Liverpool.

Mr Haneef's lawyer, Peter Russo, says he still does not have a clear picture of what authorities are alleging against his client.

"The only way that we're ever going to be able to prove whether that's true or not will be in an open hearing, and the first opportunity we may get to do that will be on the 8th of August," he said.

"All I can do is just keep working hard and the truth will be found somewhere in the unfolding of the different court hearings that we have."

India restates call for fair treatment of suspect

India's foreign minister has made a telephone call to his Australian counterpart, Alexander Downer, to discuss the treatment of Mr Haneef.

Mr Pranab Mukherjee told Mr Downer that Mr Haneef should be treated in a fair and just manner.

New Delhi expressed similar concerns over the treatment of the terror suspect earlier this week.

It summoned the Australian high commissioner to India, John McCarthy, to convey its concern and emphasise that the doctor from Bangalore be treated in a fair manner a day after Mr Haneef's visa was cancelled.

The Indian High Commission in Canberra is helping in arranging legal assistance for him.

Australia and India have also agreed to sign a mutual legal assistance treaty.

Howard is a criminal and must be held accountable for his many crimes -- jailing the lackey, Howard and his principal ministers, would be the perfect introduction to an Independent and sovereign Republic.
