Denying a historical fact is one thing but denying a holocaust IN PROGRESS (in your face) is quite another! The denial of Rice is without doubt the most absurd as it is happening before our eyes – it is, I regret to inform Rice, CURRENT REALITY!

No external evidence required the most incriminating and damning evidence issues directly from Rice’s own mouth. Commenting on the proposed visit by Ahmadinejad to the WTC site Rice expressed it thus; "I think it would have been a travesty. This is somebody who is the president of a country that is probably the greatest sponsor -- state sponsor -- of terrorism, someone who is a Holocaust denier, someone who has talked about wiping other countries off the map. I think it would have been a travesty." No doubt about it Condi, you may be right, but in order to maintain at least a semblance of sanity/reality let’s make the most cursory analysis; we wouldn’t want to catch the “bouquet of flowers,” “mission accomplished,” “WMD” or “unknown knowns” disease, would WE?

The accusation that Iran is the greatest “sponsor” of terrorism is put in unique perspective by the FACT that over one million civilian deaths and four million displaced persons are directly attributable to the illegal invasion of Iraq by the USA! A nation directly responsible/CULPABLE for millions of civilian deaths and the CONTINUING mayhem accuses another nation of being a “sponsor” of terrorism!

The indisputable measure of terrorist activity remains the civilian death toll and in that regard the USA is unsurpassed.

The “travesty” is the attempt to avoid responsibility, isn’t it, Ms Rice? Also, accusing others of ‘holocaust denial’ while denying direct involvement/responsibility in the most heinous holocaust of the century is beyond the absurd, it becomes sociopathology!

As for the comment of “wiping countries off the map,” it pales into insignificance in consideration of the FACT the U.S. is presently engaged in destroying the nation of Iraq and its culture. Yes, Condi, the sky is still blue and people outside the USA can still add 2+2, which today results in Condoleezza Rice, DENIER and murderer extraordinaire!

Students today often ask historians why the German people didn’t act in the face of such obvious Nazi crimes, I refer them to the denial of the U.S. population in the face of the Iraqi holocaust and the exact same media ban on information which the State finds ‘inconvenient!’ We could go into length and refer to the de-humanisation of Jewish children prior to their extermination in Nazi camps. However, it suffices to mention that a child’s life is no less precious today than it was yesterday, regardless of nationality or creed.

The real “travesty” is that most world leaders today are either criminals or insane. The result of Germany ignoring the crimes of its leaders was a world war. The result of today’s divorced populations ignoring the crimes of their leaders will be no less severe.

Historians paradoxically have a window into the future. Analysts differ in that they focus on patterns, similarities or anomalies. What do the Nazi, Bush and Iranian regimes have in common with other lunatic regimes/ideologies in the world today? CONSERVATISM!
