Try as he might to impose fantasy onto a very mature and highly educated Europe, “history” by definition can never “move forward!” We suggest Mr Fried resort to the nearest dictionary and encyclopedia and learn exactly what history is and how it is created. Fried’s comment will no doubt go down in history as yet another example (unknown knowns) of American intellectual deficiency! We can only wonder whether Bush and Fried attended the same American schools where (it would seem) comics replaced textbooks!

History, by definition is created in the present but always refers to the past – only an American would refer to history as ‘moving forward,’ isn’t that right, George? Nevertheless, analysts are able to determine that the Bush administration is struggling with the HISTORICAL REALITY of SERBIAN KOSOVO! Regardless of the best efforts of mice and morons, bad grammar and intellectual incompetence, a thousand years of Serbian history cannot be dismissed!

However, Daniel Fried does exhibit the general level of incompetence that plagues the current American administration; as such he unintentionally becomes an indicator of the future for America in the region. Europeans are aware from experience and higher levels of education that skill and intellectual capability prevail in the end – this is the story of humankind prevailing over the more powerful dumb beasts of the (Texan) field!

The “reality” that Fried seems to be grappling with is that Kosovo is legally, historically, morally and culturally SERBIAN – KOSOVO IS SERBIA, Mr Fried! We suggest you confine your fantasies to Washington where your mentor, George W Bush is currently struggling with the historical reality of an economic recession that he so expertly created! Yes, Mr Fried, your President is not allowing reality to interfere with his dreamworld either!

America remains host to the most uneducated and socially uninformed population in the developed world – and that reality will be a major factor in the nation’s demise; or haven’t you noticed the HISTORICAL REALITY of the past decade of Bush’s/America’s INCOMPETENCE AND RAPID DECLINE?

Serbs, not Albanians, Americans or anyone else will determine the future of Serbia. In case you missed it the first time, Mr Fried, KOSOVO IS SERBIA -- you demented dunce!
