'This is not the Australia I was raised in,' muttered an old-timer at the bar after catching the latest news bulletin on the AUSMIN talks. Foreign Minister, Stephen ‘kneepads’ Smith, hailed the talks with the American Secretary of Defence as highly productive. However, analysts and commentators reserve their judgement until all details are made available.

The purchase of sub-standard Hornet jet fighters at inflated prices does not lend credence to Smith’s claims. Australia’s status as nuclear target remains unchanged by accepting the continuing presence of AMERICAN missile tracking/guidance systems at Pine Gap. Rudd’s slavish acquiescence to the simplistic, brutal, CRIMINAL Americans does not exactly fill us with joy or engender confidence in his ‘new’ government.

The Rudd timid government clearly adheres to the previous policies of the most servile politician Australia has ever known. So its out with the new and back in with the old – let’s not be deceived or misunderstand! What a tragedy this nation has become -- where have all the young men and women gone?

Neutrality – with a locally developed nuclear arsenal -- in this crucial region is Australia’s strongest political position, however, fear and loathing prevailed instead of enlightened, decisive, forward thinking!

It is simply insane to share in the criminality of America, a nation detested by almost the entire world. What is to gain by allowing ourselves to be nuclear targets for other nations, answer that one, Mr Smith?

America has violated more international laws and breached more conventions in the past decade than the rest of the world combined. The facts speak for themselves; Gitmo, torture/waterboarding, one million dead civilians in Iraq, illegally destabilising the Balkans in Kosovo, immunity from war crimes prosecution, illegal surveillance, etc; the horrid criminal list goes on but timid Kevin and ‘kneepads’ Smith found it difficult to assert Australia’s BEST INTERESTS!

"The AUSMIN talks that we've had today have effectively been business as usual so far as the business of the alliance is concerned," said Mr Smith, while wiping the custard from his face!

The remainder of the Foreign Minister’s comments are without substance, pure, vacuous political drivel; read them yourself -- link below.
