Don’t kid yourself children, Jesus was sent on his mission by an organised group that existed long before he was born. He was not a God or even possessed of supernatural powers but a healer of minds and souls and a very brave, charismatic social revolutionary; he could no more fly than any man or elephant could fly! The implausible/impossible fantasy aspects of the story are cultivated by organised religion to weaken and intimidate believers into obeying a supernatural ‘all-powerful’ being that seems always to require the assistance of men to do the simplest things. You see, all Gods are the product of the pens of scribes and propagandists. But Jesus is the exception; he was a man, a most inspiring social reformer. (full story)

Recently the Roman Catholic Pope, in a failed PR exercise, took questions from children regarding God and Catholic theology; a nine year old girl put it straight to the Pontiff, ‘why is there so much suffering, hunger and war in the world?’ The Pope answered honestly, “I don’t know!” How’s that for a spiritually bankrupt FRAUD? It’s that time of year again when Christians celebrate the birth of their saviour on the traditional winter solstice pagan calendar. That aside for the moment, it is remarkable how little Christians know about their religion. A good example is the outrageous consumerism and waste that occurs at this time of year, which would undoubtedly be condemned by the Christian saviour himself. Consider Jesus’ loathing of money and wealth; there is no record of Christ even carrying money, on the occasions the Gospels refer to money to illustrate a point, Jesus requests that it be brought to him! Aversion to money seems to be a widespread 'oversight' that affects most Christians and Christian theologians these days, especially the gold-laden Roman Catholic Church and other major Christian groups – brazen HYPOCRITES the lot of them! Regardless of social activity/institution we can count of conservatives to really disrupt and destroy. The Anglican Church is the latest example of conservatives creating schisms that promise to further weaken the Church. Well done, Dr Peter ‘arch-conservative’ Jensen and other Paulinist Archbishops of the destabilising FOCA faction! I would remind conservatives that Paul of the Epistles is NOT the Saviour; that position has always rested with Jesus of Nazareth. Paul saves no one; perhaps he even leads people to their ruin!
