Reality vs Bush Moussaoui gets life: Bush displays acumen posted by budgie, 2006-05-03 16:12:55
Just when you thought the idiot President (Americans please note) couldn’t top his previous efforts of pure imbecility, he does it again! Bush, responding to the verdict handed down to small fry terrorist, Moussaoui, stated that, “Moussaoui got a life sentence, that means he will spend the rest of his life in jail.” [Doh!] Would the real leaders of the United States please show your faces because hiding behind this cretin is becoming tedious. We would all like to know who is really determining the course of the nation since the Zionists, Wolfowitz and Perle, have jumped ship. [Remember their (now failed) plan to safeguard Israel by duping the US into invading Iraq and eliminating Saddam after the missile attacks on Tel Aviv? Israel now faces a more horrendous nightmare as a direct result of the failures in Iraq. ‘O, what tangled webs!'] (full story)

The Public Speaks for Itself posted by gan, 2006-03-20 13:06:56
As mainstream media and unrepresentative governments narrow the scope and range of social discourse, the public network has exploded with millions of ‘voices’ that continue the public discourse in a social space conveniently created by the forces that fear free expression most. The blogosphere is without competition as the primary body of free speech in today’s digital age. It is not unexpected that the content and character of independent speech is in contrast and opposition to the mainstream discourse of minority interests. It would seem that attempts to limit and tailor the social debate have resulted in unexpected consequences. (full story and 1 comments)

Eye of Anarchy posted by dingo, 2006-02-19 01:02:12
Anarchism constantly evades those who would attempt to locate a process in a rigid structural (stodgy/dead) ‘tower’ of categories. Anarchism is a-historical and anti-structuralist by NATURE (it defies definition and thereby remains immune to appropriation). Its resilience stems from its inability to be located or fixed as an ideology or paradigm. Anarchism is essentially a-political – which will no doubt surprise many ‘radicals’. Rest easy in Anarchism – it is everyone's rite-of-passage/existence. Its strength results from its pure dynamism – if it ain’t movin’, it ain’t anarchism! (full story and 8 comments)

Collapsed WTC BYU Professor accuses US Government of 9/11 Fraud posted by Elaine Jarvik, 2006-01-27 11:43:55
"We believe that senior government officials have covered up crucial facts about what really happened on 9/11," the group says in a statement released Friday announcing its formation. "We believe these events may have been orchestrated by the administration in order to manipulate the American people into supporting policies at home and abroad." (full story and 1 comments)

Australia experiments with Saturation Surveillance posted by Dale Mills, 2006-01-25 05:58:52
A close-circuit video camera in every bank, on every shop front, every shopping mall, every train station, every local government camera, any private business with a camera centrally linked with live feeds to police command – not science fiction or a left-wing paranoia, but a reality in the Australian state of New South Wales that the world's police and security services will be watching closely.
