Defence Minister, Joel Fitzgibbon Fitzy under the whip! posted by Captain, 2009-03-25 23:51:25
Only political fools and the masses believe in conveniences and coincidences, Fitzy; watch your back (Labor and other) daggers are out for you!

While Kevin is conveniently in Washington, Defence Minister, Joel Fitzgibbon, is ‘under the whip’ in more ways than one. The latest attempted compromise relates to the Minister’s relationship with a ‘Chinese business woman;’ we certainly have a wealth of information on that particular genus, especially the tall Asian wonder that hopped from one Telstra executive's bed to another -- accruing vital information as she plied her pussy for the homeland. It was fun watching her jump into jaguars driven by old fart execs and other chauffeur driven vehicles – they just couldn’t resist; too fuckin easy, mate! (full story and 2 comments)

Soldier blue, Fitzgibbon -- wanker in Afghanistan on U.S. orders! U.S. gives kiss of death to Australian Labor Government posted by quill, 2009-03-24 23:34:14
‘Serving’ Oz PM, Kevin ‘07’, arrived in Washington yesterday to receive his pet on the head from the new White House team installed by the same status quo powers that installed and determined policy for the previous Clinton and Bush administrations -- ‘things must change if they are to remain the same,’ indeed! I can add too! posted by angry citizen, 2009-03-22 01:45:56
This comment has been upgraded because it makes sense 'across the board' -- something that Executive elites have been unable to do for years! Anyone that has any assets whatsoever in the 'stock market' -- for the want of a more accurate term -- could be best described today as a fool's FOOL!

Angry citizen's comment puts the entire financial meltdown in contextual perspective -- see how THEY run! Use it like a hot knife when dealing with the 'butter' explanations of shysters and banksters. It certainly frames the article from Rolling Stone's, Matt Taibbi, in the comment section very nicely indeed -- a great read, Matt! Never forget the CURRENT REALITY and how we got here and WHO was responsible. Never again fall for the meaningless gibberish of 'experts' that reality BRANDS as thieves and liars -- simple! I'll leave you to the perfect deductions of an honest angry citizen! Ed.

G8 protest Restoring our Financial Sovereignty posted by Nikki Alexander via quin, 2009-03-20 07:43:36
Prologue

When Benjamin Franklin was called before the British Parliament in 1757 and asked to account for the prosperity in the American colonies. He replied, "That is simple. In the colonies we issue our own money. It is called Colonial Scrip. We issue it in proper proportion to the demands of trade and industry to make the products pass easily from the producers to the consumers. In this manner, creating for ourselves our own paper money, we control its purchasing power, and we have no interest to pay to no one."

It was the struggle for financial sovereignty that precipitated the American Revolution when the (Rothschild) Bank of England forced the colonies to give up their Scrip and intense poverty followed. (full story and 2 comments)

The STARK REALITY of today is that FREE MARKET CAPITALISM is DEAD or at the very least [is] a FLAWED and failed system. (full story and 3 comments)

Paul 'fingers' Keating Paul Keating’s recent ‘sledging’ of Timothy Geithner in context posted by Kingfisher, 2009-03-17 22:48:44
Perhaps no Western leader was closer to the CIA backed, mass murdering former Indonesian President, General Soeharto than former Australian PM, Paul Keating. It would be fair to say that Soeharto and Keating were as ‘thick as thieves.’ (full story)

Dollar Crisis In The Making posted by W Joseph Stroupe via reed, 2009-03-16 09:42:30
Increasingly ominous clouds are gathering in what could soon be the perfect storm against the United States dollar and against the present dollar-centric global financial order.

This is not shaping up to be a storm that anyone is trying to initiate, not even those who are actively driving for a new global financial order that is no longer centered on the dollar. Instead, it will result from a correlation of forces arising out of the deepening global financial and economic crises, coupled with recurring and conspicuous miscalculation on the part of some of the world's political, financial and economic leaders. It takes a major event/crisis to expose the REALITY and TRUE character of a nation and its people. The reality is usually light years from the myth, as America currently exemplifies. Home of the ‘brave’ and land of the ‘free’ couldn’t be further from the truth! (full story and 1 comments)

SPP: Updating the Militarization and Annexation of North America posted by Stephen Lendman via reed, 2009-03-13 21:58:53
The title refers to the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP), also known as the North American Union - formerly launched at a March 23, 2005 Waco, Texas meeting attended by George Bush, Mexico's President Vincente Fox, and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin. It's for a tri-national agreement, below the radar, for greater economic, political, and security integration with secret business and government working groups devising binding policies with no public knowledge or legislative debate. The Vacillating President: 70K troop surge or defeat in Afghanistan? posted by budgie, 2009-03-08 01:14:38
What’s it gonna be Baa’raack, a 70,000 troop surge in Afghanistan or failure? All we heard from the world’s highest profile house slave (you reprehensible, turncoat, fraud) was the constant refrain ‘we must fight the war in Afghanistan;’ the war is in Afghanistan, the war, ya di yar …; you even had servile Kevin ‘custard-face’ Rudd, the Oz PM, repeating the same refrain. Have a heart, Baa’raack, between you and Murdoch the hapless Oz PM doesn’t know which way to turn -- poor pathetic, Kevin, ‘we’ promise to give clear orders next time! (full story)

WASHINGTON, Mar 4 (IPS) - A new report says that Wall Street has only itself to blame for the misguided deregulation that led to the current deepening financial crisis. Unremitting deceit from leadership is killing the country posted by barra, 2009-02-28 08:56:19
How desperate, exhausted and thoroughly dispirited are the American people today?

American leaders in the public and private sectors have all but destroyed the nation with their lies, false hope and massive frauds. However, few analysts and advisers it seems are aware of the cost and consequences of constantly deceiving and ABUSING the people. (full story and 5 comments)

Is It Jailout Time Yet? posted by Danny Schechter via fleet, 2009-02-24 00:34:21
Judging by my in-box, there seem to be no shortage of organizations and individuals obsessed with an image: Dick Cheney and George Bush in prison, and Karl Rove in the next cell. Never mind that Congress doesn’t have the guts or the President the gumption to go after those responsible for the gutting of the Constitution. Nevertheless, there are many campaigns and calls to hold the last Administration accountable for its crimes. (full story and 1 comments)
