To date, Mohammed ElBaradei, is the highest ranking official to formally state that responsibility for the civilian holocaust in Iraq – OVER ONE MILLION INNOCENT CIVILIANS DEAD – rests with the US and its allies. The BBC reported that Serbia formally apologised today for the Srebrenica ‘massacre;’ less than eight thousand Muslim men were killed by Serbian forces during the US orchestrated Balkan conflict. Indeed, one civilian death is one too many and no apology is able to raise the dead, however, it demonstrates a nation ready to confront its mistakes and perhaps send a signal to Albanian Muslim Kosovars responsible for desecrating hundreds of historical Christian Churches and cleansing Serbs and other minorities in Kosovo. Perhaps the fascist Croatians may feel a pang of conscience for cleansing Serbs from the Krajina region -- the ‘news’ is so one-sided these days. (full story)
