Attacks on Indians continue unabated in Victoria since the brutal stabbing death of Indian student Nitin Garg two weeks ago. The latest attacks occurred only 24 hours after an Australian man was sentenced to three months jail for racially vilifying and threatening an Indian taxi driver with his life. Two more Indian taxi drivers have been targeted in separate racist attacks in Ballarat. The assailants may have been motivated by 'one of their own' receiving a severe penalty for the ‘minor’ offence of threatening an Indian with his life -- we’ll show those curry-munchers what’s what ‘round ‘ere, mate! The Oz Minister of Defence, John Faulkner, who is currently finishing a sentence he began this morning, finally managed to announce that the Defence Signals Directorate (DSD) or ‘Sigs,’ as it is affectionately known, has expanded its intelligence brief to include cyber security. Far be it from anyone ‘here’ to denigrate our Signals Corps but the question arises, from where is the Oz Military recruiting the only people able to ‘fight’ a cyber war, undisciplined, elite, civilian HACKERS? The recent flurry of media activity relating to ‘underpants’ and YEMEN has taken a new turn with Obama now stating he has “no intention” of invading Yemen – previously he threatened the Yemeni government with, to paraphrase, ‘if you don’t take care of the ‘terrorists,’ WE WILL DO IT FOR YOU!’ Sounds like a clear threat of invasion to me, but one day is a long time in politics! WE should have known, especially after Obama’s own National Security Advisor, Gen. James Jones, stated that the ACTUAL number of al-Qaeda fighters in Afghanistan is "fewer than a hundred!" What! You mean thousands of innocent lives have been lost and the world’s most powerful military has been mobilsed to fight less than 100 fighters? Well, if nothing else it certainly portrays al-Qaeda as nothing short of superhuman, perhaps even divine! How else would it be possible for less than 100 fighters to take on the most powerful military in the world? Or is it perhaps the case that WE are being DECEIVED, YET AGAIN?
