Ramush Haradinaj, gangster and acquitted war criminal Will Serbia sell its soul for EU membership? posted by dragan, 2008-04-29 20:09:42
What is the EU really offering Serbia after the ICC acquitted KLA war criminal, Ramush Haradinaj, of heinous war crimes charges? It is now clear western interests seek the dissolution of the Serbian State. The West’s support of known criminals in secessionist Kosovo is additional proof of the lengths to which the West will go to (illegally) secure sovereign Serbian territories. (full story)

Nature signals calamity! posted by Mollie Matteson via rialator, 2008-04-28 20:57:24
[First the honey bees now the bats -- is anyone listening to the most important alarms? Ed.]

BATS have been dying by the thousands recently in the Northeastern United States. No one knows why, and it may be months, perhaps years, before the cause is determined. Meanwhile, scientists predict that this summer there will be a population explosion of insects, which bats normally eat in large quantities. Greater numbers of beetles and moths could mean severe and costly losses for farmers and timber producers. There could also be bigger swarms of mosquitoes and other biting bugs, which will mean more discomfort for all of us. (full story)

Cheney/Bush/Israel determined to ignite WWIII posted by Peter Chamberlin via reed, 2008-04-28 20:42:24
Judging from the campaign rhetoric coming out of both camps, whoever wins the Oval Office will be inclined to continue the failed military policies in Iraq and to pursue a confrontation with Iran. Apparently it does not matter to either party what will follow those actions, or what these disastrous policies have produced as they played-out in Iraq and Afghanistan. It does not matter who gets elected, whether it is "bomb, bomb Iran" McCain, or "obliterate/massive retaliation" Clinton, nothing will change. (full story)

Rudd the dud Oz PM sacrifices Aussie lives for U.S. criminal enterprise posted by barra, 2008-04-27 20:37:59
The justification the Australian Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, offers families and the Australian public for the needless deaths of our servicemen in Afghanistan is that al-Qaeda attacked ‘his’ ally the USA! Al-Qaeda is Bin Laden’s organisation; they are clearly not Afghanis! The people responsible for actions against western occupation forces in Afghanistan are Afghanis; the same tribal groups that fought Alexander the Great and Imperial Britain. The propaganda offered by western occupation forces to justify wars of plunder, land acquisition and occupation convinces only the feeble minded. None of it justifies the cost – in human lives – of the current occupation. This particularly applies to Australia, which is so far removed from Afghanistan that all attempts at justification meet with sneers and incredulity. (full story)

The ‘right royals’ posted by dingo, 2008-04-25 22:21:26
At times we Aussies, usually for a number of reasons, get ‘the right royal shits’ and this is one of those ‘fuck everything’ days – everyone should have one, the therapeutic benefits are immeasurable! But to return to the causative factors: Australia’s hollow PM, Kevin Rudd, was in his element yesterday performing before the media at one of the nation’s most enduring and FORMATIVE commemorative ceremonies – ANZAC day. Ortega, Chavez, Morales and friends Latin America: the attack on democracy posted by John Pilger via rialator, 2008-04-25 09:20:48
Beyond the sound and fury of its conquest of Iraq and campaign against Iran, the world's dominant power is waging a largely unreported war on another continent - Latin America. Using proxies, Washington aims to restore and reinforce the political control of a privileged group calling itself middle-class, to shift the responsibility for massacres and drug trafficking away from the psychotic regime in Colombia and its mafiosi, and to extinguish hopes raised among Latin America's impoverished majority by the reform governments of Venezuela, Ecuador and Bolivia. It’s a matter of credibility, literacy and competence posted by krill, 2008-04-24 23:37:54
Prior to responding to the latest gibberish from the White House -- you know, the domicile on the misspelt ‘Capitol’ Hill that houses the leaders of the ONCE most powerful nation on the planet, America! [Now famed for its nose-diving economy, stunningly inaccurate intelligence agencies, illegal activities, expansionist wars of plunder and aggression, torture, illegal detention etc, etc; all brought to you by men and women of unusual intelligence and skill!] (full story and 1 comments)

Timor-Leste: Australian occupier reluctant to provide crucial information! posted by finch, 2008-04-22 21:22:42
Jose Ramos-Horta, President of Timor-Leste, has formally requested the bank and phone records of assassinated rebel leader, Alfredo Reinado, which are currently held by Australian authorities. But that information has so far been withheld from the president of Timor-Leste! In other words, Australian occupiers refuse to furnish information to the president of the occupied nation; an ‘action’ which certainly removes all doubts regarding East Timor’s sovereignty and independence. A suspicious situation to say the least! (full story and 1 comments)

Senator Barack Obama Hillary ‘Bilderberg’ Clinton: the face and soul of the rotten status quo posted by nano, 2008-04-22 06:15:17

'Grateful' Pres. Talabani slobbers on Rice Condoleezza Rice rushes to reassure Iraqi Puppet government posted by budgie, 2008-04-20 21:38:08
Immediately after the Iraqi Shi'ite leader Muqtada al-Sadr threatened to unleash open warfare in Iraq and remove the U.S. puppet government, Condi Rice jumped a jet -- instead of Bush – and flew to Iraq to reassure the subservient Maliki that the U.S. would soon be launching an attack on Iran, which -- it hoped -- would weaken and disrupt Sadr’s power base, dream on Condi! [Are we watching all this Russia and China; are we ready for the Israeli attack on Syria and the U.S. attack on Iran, ‘comrades?’ Or are we too busy with the Olympic games – the perfect time to attack?] (full story and 2 comments)

Pope Hypocrite and religious envy syndrome posted by fish, 2008-04-19 07:56:55
In the most flagrant manner possible the Roman Catholic Pope, as if to compete with the recent brazen hypocrisy of the Dalai Fraud, ended a speech in the U.S. with Bush’s favourite concluding remark, “God bless America” – suck, suck! We are aware religious leaders live sheltered lives but the civilian death toll in Iraq, now exceeding one million, with an additional four million displaced persons and a totally ruined state, is difficult for even a Pope to ignore! Meltdown of U.S. Dollar Underway as China Dumps the Currency posted by David Gutierrez via reed, 2008-04-17 20:02:11
Comments by China that it intends to move away from its reliance on the dollar triggered a sharp drop in the Dow Jones Industrial Average and heightened worldwide fears about the U.S. currency's stability. Chinese Central Bank Vice Director Xiu Jian said that his country is planning to shift much of its $1.4 trillion national currency reserve from dollars to more stable currencies, such as the euro or Canadian dollar. After these comments, the dollar fell to record lows relative to other currencies -- the lowest ever against the euro, the lowest in a generation against the British pound, and the lowest in 57 years against the Canadian dollar. East Timor PM, Xanana Gusmao Timor-Leste: Reinado, the expendable operative posted by dingo, 2008-04-16 21:35:20
Jose Ramos-Horta, president of East Timor, returned home to a warm, staged welcome today, however, he also returns to a stew of intrigue, double dealing, back-stabbing and very lethal politics – watch your back Jose, your PM Xanana Gusmao is a duplicitous jackal! There are more questions surrounding the fateful day duped and expendable rebel leader, Alfredo Reinado, was shot and killed in the grounds of the President’s residence than satisfactory answers from any quarter. Superpowers prepare for War in the Middle East posted by finch, 2008-04-15 21:52:27
The superpowers are quiet at the moment but its not a restive quiet, it’s a lull before the storm! Few would misinterpret Cheney’s recent (preparatory) trip to the Middle East; Bush’s plan to ‘get Iran’ is about to be realised; Syria will have to wait or perhaps that task has been allotted to Israel. This war will see the introduction of tactical nuclear weapons by America and its ally Israel – the utter murderous INSANITY of it all -- but what of Russian and Chinese interests in the region?
