Deconstructing the Prime Minister of Oz posted by peptide, 2007-08-24 23:03:20
Australia’s shame and international embarrassment, John Howard, known to the whole world as a lackey, coward and racist, to mention only a few of his ‘endearing’ qualities, expressed his support for the extreme security measures taken to protect some of the world’s most ruthless murderers, polluters and thieving marauders – interesting how facts put real perspective on APEC leaders, isn’t it? Aussies eat shit and learn to like it: second rate citizens in own nation! posted by blake, 2007-08-24 12:19:22
Fair fuckin’ go! It’s not enough we host a summit for the world’s mass murderers, major polluters and brazen thieves and have our beautiful city of Sydney delivered from our hands by a lackey Prime Minister and an Italian fascist Premier (riding his brand new water cannon!) But to add insult to injury, and as a final gesture from overlords to the serf population -- a fireworks display on Sydney Harbour to mark the end of the APEC summit will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC! Tight as a Drum: APEC security may overwhelm Itself posted by Mel Bourne, 2007-08-23 21:53:06
Professionals are expressing concern at Sydney’s over zealous approach to APEC security. Word has it that protesters and associated groups have been briefed to make their most dynamic ‘statement’ during a planned diversionary tactic guaranteed to trigger a cacophony of responses from authorities, local and international! Once should be enough posted by Kingfisher, 2007-08-22 12:36:30
How many times must criminals in government BE EXPOSED before they ARE EXPOSED? That is the question today. Inept, deceptive and criminal conservative governments from Bush to Howard have been exposed for criminal activities and incompetence so many times this writer has lost count yet not one senior official has been jailed! Executive and legislative powers in the hands of criminals subvert every aspect of honest government. From the Libby presidential pardon in the US to the scapegoating of Haneef in Oz, governments reek of total corruption and abuse of power. The people may have had enough -- will the culpable finally be brought to justice? (full story and 1 comments)

Who, me? Know your Leader: perverse cult has Howard’s ear! posted by fish, 2007-08-21 13:52:25
Leaders of a perverse Christian cult, the Exclusive Brethren, have met with Prime Minister John Howard for reasons only known to both parties but we can deduce from available evidence that this cult, known for attempting to influence family court judges, breaking up families and launching smear campaigns against politicians who do not meet with their approval – the homosexual leader of the Greens, Bob Brown, for example – also has a strong presence in Howard’s seat of Bennelong! Vindicated: Dr Mohamed Haneef Haneef visa reinstated: costs awarded against government posted by nano, 2007-08-20 11:00:00
Australian justice prevails against racist Howard government and lackey immigration minister, Kevin Andrews. The retrogressive Howard government has been given a clear and firm message from the Australian people via the Legal system. Howard has done more to damage Oz’s good name in the international arena than any Australian Prime Minister in modern history. Howard and his contractive, backward looking, divisive policies have unnecessarily compromised all Australians who travel and serve their nation overseas. Perhaps the most effective healing gesture for the nation would be to completely remove all vestiges of Howard’s presence from the political landscape; the forthcoming elections provide the perfect opportunity for all Australians to clearly state their opposition to regressive, inward-looking, contractive conservatism. Italian Premier Iemma with George Bush High pressure water cannon for APEC posted by gan, 2007-08-19 12:41:41
The NSW Premier, Morris ‘il Duce’ Iemma, has approved of the use of a dangerous high pressure water cannon for the APEC summit. This weapon has been known to blind by tearing eyeballs from skull sockets, but why let minor details like maiming the public interfere with a meeting of mass murderers, polluters and thieves, notwithstanding the assault on Australian values by an Italian fascist! Kevin 'lukewarm' Rudd Something from Nothing – it can’t be done! posted by dingo, 2007-08-18 00:40:59
An extremely curious article from the Sunday Telegraph regarding an indiscretion of opposition leader Kevin Rudd, Australia’s own sun-bleached dog turd -- I hope the metaphor conveys the correct impression -- appeared today, 4 years AFTER the event! But first consider the appeal value of a weathered dog turd compared with a fresh turd! The fresh turd does have some character -- colour and an unpleasant odour. Fresh dog turds also affect human behaviour, most people go to lengths to avoid contact especially stepping in one. Now consider an exposed, weathered, sun-bleached, dog turd – no character whatsoever, no colour, smell or affective power. You may begin to appreciate the panic Kevin Rudd’s PR consultants and advisers experience when attempting to present a characterless nothing as something! (full story and 2 comments)

Death without honour in Iraq Freefalling markets, energy wars and domestic collapse posted by major mitchell, 2007-08-16 13:53:06
Take your pick of failures and debacles conservatives have created on the home front and around the globe. They are numerous and severe but perhaps the most understated and most dangerous are attempts by neo-conservative forces to command the rich resources of Central Asia. It’s a long way from home, Uncle; the advantage and strength always lies with the locals (SCO group) and the Sino-Russian military alliance. This is THEIR region and as would be expected any attempts by foreign forces to invade will be resisted to the death – who would not fight foreign invaders from the other side of the world that would threaten home, family and prosperity? Pauline Hanson Pauline Hanson returns! posted by dingo, 2007-08-14 23:40:04
‘Remember me, Mr Abbott,’ would make a very appropriate comment from the Queensland rustic we all love to hate? Pauline Hanson is Oz racism, bigotry, intolerance, regression, division, insularity, xenophobia and parochialism rolled into a redhead. Call her what you will but don’t dismiss her, she is walking gold for the independents and Labor. (full story)

Peter 'supercilious prick' Costello Press divided over supercilious prick’s remarks posted by budgie, 2007-08-14 11:51:24
The Oz press gallery – a gallery of cringing drunks, no-talents and gutless wonders; do any of you remember chasing a story till it busts wide open? It’s called INVESTIGATIVE journalism you bunch of cowardly editorial slaves! Run with a story, try it, it always reaps results. You could start with the “aluminium tubing” LIE which leads to the whole orchestrated deception of our involvement in the criminal intervention in Iraq. It ends with Howard and a few senior ministers held to account! ‘Ozat for sure-fire winning material, you bunch of gastrics? Is there one among the recidivist drunks and pill popping nervous wrecks that has not completely lost the art of investigating and reporting a story without fear or favour? Have you forgotten your responsibility to the public and to DEMOCRACY, you bunch of trainee fascist propagandists? How could you allow the likes of Murdoch to destroy the free spirit of reporting, you bunch of dead losses? (full story)

A recent headline in the mass media, “..sniff the dodgy briefcase” refers to 22 Labrador explosives sniffer dogs that will be poking their canine noses in all sorts of sulphurous smells during the APEC summit; beware what you eat the night before, we’ve already had a fart down a U.S. jetliner! Will there be a run on the banks? posted by Mike Whitney via rialator, 2007-08-12 23:51:40
On Friday, the Dow Jone’s clawed its way back from a 200 point deficit to a mere 31 point loss after the Federal Reserve injected $38 billion into the banking system. The Fed had already pumped $24 billion into the system a day earlier after the Dow plummeted 387 points. That brings the Fed’s total commitment to a whopping $62 billion. (full story and 1 comments)
