Japan v. the Whales posted by Dale Mills, 2006-01-16 00:42:48
Environmentalists protesting against Japanese whaling in the Antarctic is leading to an escalation of aggression from the Japanese whaling fleet. However, Japan can hardly ignore international opinion. (full story)

A Strategy Primer posted by Ibis, 2006-01-14 14:53:34
Social cohesion has never been more fragile than at present. Developing an effective survival strategy in an age of bankrupt ideologies is a challenging but not impossible task. All known political ideologies have failed or are failing (including capitalism). The lack of viable alternatives betrays a 'whipped' and beaten Western population not a shortage of real options. BANKSY -- utopia Social Disorder posted by peptide, 2006-01-12 05:39:39
The subversion of law and ‘order’ has been effectively and completely realised, not by revolutionary, rebel, insurgent groups and associated ideologies, but by the custodians of social order themselves. The process was essentially (d)evolutionary not revolutionary. An elementary student would have little difficulty understanding the character of the ‘New World Disorder’ and the forces that created this new social nightmare. The USA stands in plain sight as the most criminal, murderous, terrorist state in the world today. (full story and 2 comments)

Grandiose Visions – Nightmare Realities posted by Kingfisher, 2006-01-09 05:08:47
The “New American Century” (PNAC) and the “Thousand Year Reich”, shared a similar preposterous vision; a crude blend of wishful thinking, fantasy and religiosity. However, the chronologically modest American ‘vision’ is no less dangerous and destructive a model; in fact, the potential for destruction on a scale never before seen is inherent in the ‘New American (graveyard) Century’. Asylum America: Bush’s Charade posted by cleaves, 2006-01-06 02:15:05
Pat Robertson, noted American Christian fundamentalist and mental deficient, claims that Ariel Sharon is being punished by God for “dividing” Israel. Pat Robertson remains in ‘care’ and is happy to reside in the most affluent psychiatric institution in the world, the USA. (full story)

Oz Military targets Australian Society posted by Dale Mills, 2006-01-03 03:49:51
“Dead and wounded dissidents, if identifiable, must be removed immediately by the police ... When being reported, dissident and own casualties are categorised merely as dead or wounded. To inhibit propaganda exploitation by the dissidents the cause of the casualties (for example, ‘shot’) is not reported. A follow-up operation should be carried out to maintain the momentum of the dispersing crowd.” (full story)

Obvious Options posted by dingo, 2006-01-02 11:43:26
The forces that divide humanity issue from religion, tribalism, racism and self-interest. The fact that right wing groups emphasise the ‘virtues’ of these principles clearly identifies their support base and driving principles. It would seem obvious that an assault on the principles that create undesirable circumstances is preferable to dealing with the (disastrous) consequences after the event. (full story)

Anarchism: What it really stands for posted by Emma Goldman, 2006-01-01 03:27:37
Anarchism is the great liberator of man from the phantoms that have held him captive; it is the arbiter and pacifier of the two forces for individual and social harmony. To accomplish that unity, Anarchism has declared war on the pernicious influences which have so far prevented the harmonious blending of individual and social instincts, the individual and society. The Immorality of the State posted by Mikhail Bakunin, 2006-01-01 03:20:44
"Every State, whether it is of a federative or a non-federative character, must seek, under the penalty of utter ruin, to become the most powerful of States. It has to devour others in order not to be devoured in turn, to conquer in order not to be conquered, to enslave in order not to be enslaved - for two similar and at the same time alien powers, cannot co-exist without destroying each other." Minorities versus Majorities posted by Emma Goldman, 2006-01-01 03:15:46
In the American struggle for liberty, the majority was no less of a stumbling block. Until this very day the ideas of Jefferson, of Patrick Henry, of Thomas Paine, are denied and sold by their posterity. The mass wants none of them. The greatness and courage worshipped in Lincoln have been forgotten in the men who created the background for the panorama of that time. The true patron saints of the black men were represented in that handful of fighters in Boston, Lloyd Garrison, Wendell Phillips, Thoreau, Margaret Fuller, and Theodore Parker, whose great courage and sturdiness culminated in that somber giant John Brown. Their untiring zeal, their eloquence and perseverance undermined the stronghold of the Southern lords. Lincoln and his minions followed only when abolition had become a practical issue, recognized as such by all. (full story)

Patriotism: A Menace to Liberty posted by Emma Goldman, 2006-01-01 03:10:06
The contention that a standing army and navy is the best security of peace is about as logical as the claim that the most peaceful citizen is he who goes about heavily armed. The experience of every-day life fully proves that the armed individual is invariably anxious to try his strength. The same is historically true of governments. Really peaceful countries do not waste life and energy in war preparations, With the result that peace is maintained. (full story)

Power Corrupts The Best posted by Mikhail Bakunin, 2006-01-01 03:05:55
Nothing is more dangerous for man's private morality than the habit of command. The best man, the most intelligent, disinterested, generous, pure, will infallibly and always be spoiled at this trade. Two sentiments inherent in power never fail to produce this demoralisation; they are: contempt for the masses and the overestimation of one's own merits. (full story)

Arrest Information posted by elastic band, 2005-12-29 12:53:04
Right-wing nations are now utilising their new ‘anti-terrorist’ laws. Activists are being targeted and arrested in the US and Australia – who is next? The following information may prove useful in the event of arrest. A ‘friend of mine’ was recently detained for questioning by state police; his experiences were similar to those of others in the milieux. Familiarisation with the procedures and methodologies of our ‘regulatory authorities’ is invaluable in the event of arrest or detention. (full story)

Converge on the Capital posted by cleaves, 2005-12-28 03:46:48
In the recent past an American grandmother demonstrating against the tyrant Bush, held a placard as she marched on the Capital, it read, “The Road to Hell is lined with Bushes”. It is now evident that this grandmother (who puts younger Americans to shame) was exhibiting prophetic or intuitive insight. In that period Bush was relatively tame. This American woman and true patriot is an inspiration to us all. (full story)

Bush’s Xmas Tantrum posted by cleaves, 2005-12-24 04:11:14
Bush is furious that patriots, who continue to hold the values and laws of the USA inviolate, leaked the story of illegal bugging and surveillance to the media. The American Fuhrer’s indignation equals that of his historical Nazi counterpart. How dare someone expose the ‘commander in chief’ for the criminal that he really is! (full story)
