Balkans at crisis point posted by dusan, 2008-03-10 22:35:41
Washington and its western allies are shitting themselves over the prospect of Serbia asserting its inalienable right over its territories after the formation of a new Serbian government. Whether the west chooses to label Serbs nationalists, liberals, hardliners or brigands is irrelevant – Serbs will never give up Kosovo! Try and understand it is impossible to give up what makes you what you are! Even the thought of losing Kosovo fills Serbs with shame and intolerable humiliation. (full story)

Hitler strikes a pose Evil empires and disturbed dictators posted by goran, 2008-02-27 11:45:19
This portrait of Hitler speaks volumes; the hysterically effeminate representation was a personal favourite of Hitler’s – much to the consternation of his propaganda/media advisers. The German dictator and mass murderer clearly reveals his aberrant personality by allowing this obviously queer and screamingly effeminate representation to be shown in public. [Hitler’s sexuality is known to have been extremely ‘problematic’ – western propaganda notwithstanding.] (full story)

Australian government’s infantile dependence posted by nano, 2008-02-23 21:13:20
It seems America is desperate to get Oz on board with its more theological than technological missile defence shield. However, Americans always give the game away with overkill – the flight manual in Arabic conveniently left at Boston airport (9/11) followed by US military supplied (oops) anthrax letters are notable examples of American (idiot) overkill. The Dili embrace: Kevin Rdd and Xanana Gusmao The Australian Position posted by finch, 2008-02-19 12:26:05
In contrast to the Australian Foreign Minister’s ‘yezz boss’ attitude to the Americans, Helen Clark, New Zealand PM, has joined other nations in not formally recognising the illegal secession of Kosovo. Notwithstanding Smith’s early show of subservience we are about to be treated to an even greater exhibition of servility from the new Rudd Labor government! The Australian Foreign Minister, Stephen Smith, is currently rummaging through his wardrobe looking for his ornate, formal dress kneepads in preparation for the visit of the American Defence Secretary, Robert Gates! Kosovo calamity undermines Europe’s security posted by nano, 2008-02-16 09:56:31
Most of us are familiar with the almost universally known adage, “a million wrongs do not make a right;” we are also familiar with the concept of shared criminality, most popularly depicted as a mafia leader demanding that every member of his group put a bullet into the body of a victim. In this way the most sordid and heinous of all criminal bonds is forged; all participants share in the guilt of murder! (full story and 3 comments)

Ramos-Horta: coma of convenience posted by gan, 2008-02-13 22:13:39
Australia’s involvement in the assassination of Major Alfredo Reinado is indicated – according to some analysts -- by the prolonged induced coma of Jose Ramos-Horta. The president of Timor-Leste is perhaps the only person able to supply crucial information regarding events leading to the death of Major Reinado and his own wounding, YET an odd reluctance to obtain accurate information is becoming evident, particularly from the Australians, America’s proxy in the region! The Proof is in the Pic posted by patriot, 2008-02-12 11:37:33
If nothing else, right-wing conservatives have proven beyond doubt that populations will tolerate monstrous crimes from their leaders particularly if the means for remedial action are removed or corrupt. (full story)

Timor-Leste: a broader view required posted by dingo, 2008-02-10 20:39:41
Labor PM, Kevin Rudd has announced his support for Morris Iemma’s huge energy infrastructure sell-off in NSW, a move that threatens huge job losses, quality control standards and price rises for services. But why should Rudd care, it was Rudd who stated that politics in today’s Australia is no longer a matter of ideology? Facility and expedition are the order of the day – but for whom? Big business does not place governments in power to have their interests thwarted, so it's full steam ahead for vested interests and a final goodbye to the last vestiges of the ALP as a people's party – rest in peace the once proud Labor movement of Australia! Torture ‘logic’ USA posted by gan, 2008-02-06 08:05:28
This short piece is principally directed at Americans, as most people of the free world – approx. 99.99% of the planet’s population, understand torture as TORTURE! Torture remains illegal under international law but America has flouted international law and convention on so many occasions it is no surprise it attempts to justify the use of TORTURE today. Pollycarpus Priyanto, convicted Asian high court shows the way posted by Kingfisher, 2008-01-25 08:32:42
Formerly listed as the most corrupt nation in the world, Indonesia is now demonstrating to a thoroughly corrupt American judiciary and administration that the LAW must be observed and allowed to function without interference from the State; the world’s most corrupt nations now seem to emanate from the West! We refer to the flagrant flouting of international law and convention in relation to illegal detention, pre-emptive warfare, torture, and disregard of the territorial integrity of sovereign nations. YES, with over one million civilian deaths to its ‘credit’ America is beyond dispute as the world’s leading terrorist and criminal State followed closely by the dominant nations of NATO! (full story)

The Mother Load: grass roots electioneering posted by nano, 2008-01-08 09:14:38
“That damned internet!” We could hear the plutocrats and media moguls from here (Australia). There is no denying that many ruling interests have taken a severe pounding from the ‘new’ grass roots GLOBAL communications medium. Given the means, many small voices on the net have combined to form a tsunami for "CHANGE" – there’s that magic word again! (full story)

Obama A bullet for Obama posted by finch, 2008-01-05 20:09:57
Who would have thought the dark horse democrat would capture the hearts and minds of so many with his slick speeches and smooth delivery – a good dose of charisma hasn’t gone to waste on him either. However, the plutocrats are murmuring; their anointed has been usurped by the people’s choice – a certain foreboding now hangs over Obama as he continues to gain in the race to the Presidency. Consider what the rabid right once did to a white Catholic democrat President and his brother. Who imagines they have changed after witnessing their handiwork with Bush and the neo-cons? (full story)

Paris Hilton Domestic collateral damage posted by nano, 2008-01-05 08:40:22
People are unravelling at an alarming rate today. Millions are succumbing to the pressures of western, affluent society. Something critically important to human well being is definitely missing from the capitalist formula. Almost the entire population is suffering from stress/anxiety related complaints. Did we destroy numerous indigenous cultures for this? Is our ‘advanced/superior’ culture a LIE or rather is it a sociological DISEASE that is killing the planet? It is clear that nintendo and plasma TV do not happiness make! CONSUMERISM BENEFITS ONLY THE FEW IT SEEMS! (full story)

Totalitarian uniformity is good China set to displace all nations as sole superpower posted by Kingfisher, 2008-01-03 11:47:50
