Rudd, Keelty, Haneef and the Banks posted by Kingfisher, 2008-01-16 07:21:50
Australians remember the Indian doctor victimised by John ‘racist’ Howard and Mick ‘drunken dropkick’ Keelty, for purely political purposes. Today, the Rudd government did not oppose moves by the courts to re-instate Dr. Haneef’s working visa; however, the drunken, incompetent, AFP Chief, Keelty, in an attempt to save whatever is left of his tattered reputation and probably his last gesture of mindlessness prior to entering a clinic for substance abuse – yes, Mick, the whole country knows – continues to doggedly pursue the Indian doctor in view of the fact the UK authorities have indicated that no evidence exists to incriminate Dr. Haneef. Perhaps scheduling Keelty would be the most appropriate course of action the government could take at this stage! (full story)

Who has stolen our wealth? Facing the interest rate incline posted by budgie, 2008-01-15 10:23:50
In anticipation of yet another interest rate hike a very brief history of Australia is warranted. This nation was built/developed by THE PEOPLE who enjoyed the fruits of their labour for generations. However, the past few decades have seen successive governments surrender the natural wealth of the nation to Transnationals, globalists and free market ‘rationalists.’ I would never have imagined the day I needed to remind the public what essentially constitutes a nation! America: a moral swampland posted by lynx, 2008-01-13 21:34:26
This short paper is written as a response to RAND Corp, Carnegie-Mellon (Institute) and a host of other American ‘think’ tanks – if the functional qualifier, "think," is at all relevant in America today! We can save you a lot of conjecture and trouble by simply stating it as it is! But then how would you justify your existence? (full story)

The civilian death toll measures terrorist activity more accurately than other any other measure.

George W Bush, the world’s leading terrorist and leader of the world’s most vile Terrorist State cannot prevent the inevitable retaliatory attack on mainland USA. A small, highly skilled European group of Freedom fighters and others opposed to despots, war criminals and mass murderers have pledged to rid the world of the idiot tyrant and deliver a message that hometown USA will never forget – try denying a silent, blinding flash and vaporisation! The price you pay for supporting Bush and the crimes he perpetrates in YOUR name, THE AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE (AND DEATH)! (full story)

Where has all the money gone, it’s been a short time passing? posted by peptide, 2008-01-12 11:18:56
Money doesn’t evaporate or disappear – it just changes hands!

The most amusing aspect of the ‘credit crunch,’ ‘sub-prime crisis’ – let’s call a spade a spade, the massive losses incurred as a result of manipulation and appropriation of trillions in funds by very clever, fast-talking financial manipulators/rogues -- are the lame excuses offered by bank execs to a very angry, debt-burdened public.

It’s time to face the music gentlemen and inform the public of the grim, compromising story of a failed economic model and the result of financial deregulation. If you are unable to clearly trace where all the money has gone, then accept responsibility for the losses and your incompetence and beg for mercy – your multi-million-dollar salaries now threaten to destroy you? It’s time to speak up before some bright, angry, family person or shareholders group arranges a SIMULTANEOUS, nation-wide DEFAULT ON ALL LOANS! [In the present climate, not a difficult task!] (full story)

Mushroom (cloud) Blues posted by yarra, 2008-01-11 21:39:04
What possesses a once moral nation to reverse course and embark on a flagrantly illegal path of military invasion, plunder and murder. The REALITY of American intervention in Iraq is countless civilian deaths, the installation of a puppet government and a declaration that America now has interests it must protect after laying waste to a once viable State -- that is REAL American 'liberty and democracy' in action! Do Americans actually imagine they can murder over one million innocent men, women and children and avoid retribution – it seems so? Americans remain in a state of convenient blindness (denial) to the horrors they have caused -- no price is too high for OTHERS TO PAY for the American way of life! (full story)

Wayne Swan A lasting imprint or a national characteristic? posted by barra, 2008-01-10 10:49:26
Have no doubt that national leaders leave their ‘mark’ on a nation. Former PM John Howard’s greatest achievement has been largely overlooked, as it was a secondary by-product of his conservative politics of fear and servility. Inadvertently or otherwise Howard succeeded in reshaping the opposition Labor party and creating a Labor leader in his own image! That development has been most unfortunate for Australia, as Howard’s most notable characteristic while in office was COWARDICE! [His second most notable characteristic was servility.] (full story)

Harold Holt Kevin Rudd: the invisible PM posted by peptide, 2008-01-09 09:06:07
Australia is not short of critical issues affecting the nation at present. Perhaps the most politically damaging -- but by no means the most important – are bank interest rate hikes and the lack of regulation in this regard! The parasitic Banks are attempting – successfully at this stage -- to pass the cost of THEIR INCOMPETENCE to the public! The feeble and outrageous excuse given to Rudd’s eunuch government and the Australian people is that interest rates have risen in order to compensate for losses sustained from “exposure” to the U.S. credit crisis; in other words, ‘I want YOU to pay for MY incompetence,’ say the banks! ‘Impressive’ manoeuvre! The arrogance of deregulated Australian banks knows no bounds as is clearly evident today; it seems the word RESPONSIBILITY only applies to the public [servicing bank loans] but not to Bank executives – a very nice arrangement, for some! Kevin Rudd: they see him here, there, NOWHERE! posted by major mitchell, 2008-01-04 09:22:39
Who is the leader you have when you don’t have a leader, why Kevin Rudd, of course? Remember how that little Queensland bureaucrat ‘caved’ and back-stepped on every tiny issue he imagined would lose him a vote prior to the elections? True to ‘character,’ excuse me, that little shit has NO character! 'True to form’ Rudd has caved on the promise to monitor the Japanese whale slaughter in the Southern Oceans. (full story)

Saddam defeats Bush from grave posted by yarra, 2008-01-01 08:14:47
What to do with a living president defeated by a dead dictator?

I will never forget the rallying call Saddam made prior to his arranged execution; his final command to the nation was to fight a classic guerrilla war of attrition and draw the American elephant into a quagmire where it could EASILY be DEFEATED. He promised victory if the people persevered and he was right. However, Saddam’s ranting was more a manifestation of bravado and personal rage than directives to a people that hated his guts! Authorities desperate to stigmatise Hicks posted by nano, 2007-12-31 09:12:34
The South Australian Premier, Mike Rann, is best known for his corrupt complicity in allowing BHP Billiton to extract -- FREE OF CHARGE -- millions of litres (per day) of precious drinking water from OUR artesian basin. One can only imagine the amount or ‘incentives’ offered this ‘honourable’ politician for the privilege! A man with no moral fibre is in no position to judge or demand apologies from anyone, especially victims of torture. (full story and 1 comments)

Rudd Labor Government Communications Minister Conroy opts for Orwellian option posted by jack, 2007-12-30 13:42:29
If nothing else Senator Conroy’s decision to take the matter out of the hands of users and filter internet content at provider (ISP) level confirms that both major political parties are subject to the same ruling interests. After vigorous opposition from the public the previous conservative government chose to offer filtering software for users to install at their discretion – the FREEDOM to CHOOSE is the crux of the matter! Brendan Nelson Put them all up against a wall … posted by major mitchell, 2007-12-30 08:51:57
Every housewife knows the principle of the purchase ie, buy the best item for the best price. However, this fundamental principle is lost on Australian conservatives in desperate need of an authority figure. The need for paternalistic authority in conservatives outweighs common sense. Brendan ‘studs’ Nelson, short-lived leader of the opposition and previous Australian Defence Minister, made the most gullible and totally inappropriate military hardware purchase (from daddy America) in living memory – probably in the nation’s short history if the historical record is taken into account -- well done ‘studs,’ you conservative, lackey, clown! Jack Kennedy Bhutto assassination update! posted by gill, 2007-12-28 08:48:41
Pakistan’s interior ministry is in frantic damage control in the wake of Benazir Bhutto's assassination. In a futile attempt to extinguish the flames of rebellion, the interior ministry today claimed that Benazir Bhutto died as a result of bumping her head on the roof of the vehicle in which she was travelling. They also claimed that no bullet or shrapnel wounds were found on her body! ‘No doubt,’ and I had breakfast with John F Kennedy -- he was shot with a bullet that could turn corners!
