Events this week highlight the madness that currently grips the international community. Many instances of Orwellian ‘double speak’ could be culled from the inane propaganda disseminated by US/NATO forces during their illegal bombing of former Yugoslavia in 1999. Add to that the nonsensical (mad) drivel that has issued from the mouths of American leaders in relation to Iraq and Iran over the past five years and the fictional absurdities (Mad Hatter's tea party) of some English novelists begin to look tame. But events this week pushed the envelope of incredulity to levels that even the most dim-witted, inbred, American rustic would find difficult to bear! (full story)

The only minister in the present Australian Labor government who displayed any integrity or spine has backflipped on the purchase of the Super Hornet jet fighters from America – what a thorough travesty and disgusting reversal! It is a matter of public record that the Super Hornet is inferior to the Jet Fighters purchased by Indonesia from the Russians -- at considerably less cost I would add. (full story and 1 comments)

Fresh from receiving honours and a gold medal from the world’s most brazen mass murderer and torturer, George W Bush, the exiled Dalai Lama of Tibet has begun another round of China-bashing, which he obviously timed for the approaching Beijing Olympics. Why they call this man a religious leader is beyond rational comprehension. The Dalai Lama today is 100% political and could care less which devil he sleeps with in order to achieve his goals! The crews laugh at times at the lack of expertise displayed by western government agencies in the area of IT security. The Internet belongs to those with the greatest level of skill and there is no shortage of it ‘out there’ – crews, teams and individuals -- but sadly very little real talent ‘in there,’ moronic government agencies and corporations. No real hacker could tolerate an office/fixed environment for more then a day or so! It is the nature of the beast and the environment in which it lives. (full story)

Propaganda has largely replaced news in the modern world; this is particularly the case with regimes that flout law, civil liberties and humanitarian issues. Occasionally the news cannot be manipulated contorted or dressed in fine lies to make it palatable. This is the case with torture. (full story and 1 comments)

Daniel Fried, the US assistant secretary of state for European affairs, is definitely an American and has the ‘intellectual ability’ to prove it. Addressing the press in the Serbian province of Kosovo, Fried said, “[Kosovo] independence is a fact. This is a reality. History is only going to move forward!" [My emphasis]
Temporal, philosophical, historical and general intellectual incompetence aside for the moment; Fried’s staggeringly stupid comment clearly exhibits the agitation experienced in Washington over the mess it has created in the Balkans! (full story and 2 comments)

78 days of US/NATO bombing on Yugoslavia was specifically designed to separate Kosovo from the Yugoslav/Serbian State. An oil and gas pipeline corridor planned for the ‘western’ Balkans was and is the primary factor/reason for Western intervention in the Balkans. (full story)

As a young girl I remember sitting by the fire at my Baba’s [grandmother's] feet listening to her stories of our family’s and national history. I was reminded of one frightening tale as I listened to a radio broadcast stating that Germany is increasing its forces in Kosovo – we know the extent to which Germany has trained and militarily supported Muslim and other secessionists in the former Yugoslavia. It is not with trepidation that I welcome the news; I embrace the opportunity to fight as my grandmother once did against the Nazis when she was a young girl. I welcome the news that the neo-Nazis are stepping into the fray themselves – I will do my family and nation proud. (full story)

An interesting turn of events occurred regarding the Serbian province of Kosovo. No more do we hear from the 'brave' Albanian ‘leader,’ Thaci, making declarations that HE will defend every “inch” of Kosovo – apparently he has retreated to the protection of Madeleine Albright’s skirt. Thaci is aware that if he pokes his nose from under the U.S. skirt it will get shot off! (full story)

Today’s click on my news aggregator produced a curious item; Angelina Jolie in Iraq pleading with General David Petraeus to assist the millions of Iraqi refugees. Might I assist and remind our ineffective ‘pretty little thing’ that Rumsfeld made it clear when he stated that American forces are “NOT nation builders” or humanitarians. Carried in the sub-text is the cruel Truth; the American military corps are amphetamine-crazed KILLERS, destroyers, spoilers and TORTURERS -- that is the hard reality. (full story)
