The situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina will get strained as soon as Bosnian Serbs hold a referendum on their constitutional status. Its aim is to prevent leaders in Sarajevo, the US and EU from eliminating Republika Srpska. The outgoing Croatian President, Stjepan Mesic, promised that if the referendum takes place, the regular army of Croatia will enter the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina to cut off the 15-km Posavina corridor, which connects the western and the eastern parts of Republika Srpska in the area of Brcko, close to the Croatian border! ARTIFICIAL debt, WAR, terror, fear and a discourse that has all the ‘appeal’ of a bit of shit on the end of a stick; with this arsenal ‘they’ hope to capture and manage an increasingly aware population; however, it is clear they have FAILED! The (predicted) global economic collapse of 2010 VERIFIES the FACT. Regardless of the name they attribute to the failure, ‘sub-prime,' 'sovereign debt' or whatever, the cause is the lack of sound, basic economic principles/policies. Production, savings/asset growth ensures stability and prosperity FOR ALL; debt-fuelled, rampant consumerism ensures collapse, simple! 'Their solution’ in times of built-in system-failure (huge DISPARITY) is war, terror, fear and lawless assassination squads targeting ‘their’ perceived enemies – it has come to this, an open SOCIO-PATHOLOGY! It is with profound unease informed Aussies react to the news of Barack Obama’s planned visit to Oz in late March. We are a rough, racist, xenophobic culture down here and many misinterpret our coarse manner and humour at times, I refer to tongue in cheek references of al-Qaeda snipers nested in Sydney’s Opera House waiting for Hillary Clinton’s visit, which was abruptly cancelled using the Haiti earthquake as an excuse. However, Obama’s visit is a far more serious matter, especially in the context of his complete inability to deliver on any of his pre-election promises and his overt perpetuation of neo-con policies. Obama is now despised by both sides of politics – a very unenviable position indeed! (full story)

Predictably, the Corporatist mass media is desperately saturating the airwaves with a ‘new’ strategy to win an UNWINNABLE war in Afghanistan. Over 60 puppet political leaders met in London yesterday to demonstrate and make public a show of unity on extending the occupation/war in Afghanistan! The entire media exercise was designed to legitimise a continuing presence in South Asia and convince a very wary public that the ‘new strategy,’ of “re-integration” would work. America imagines it is able to deter or indeed prevent Israel from attacking heavily fortified nuclear facilities in Iran. Another fantasy to which Americans are particularly susceptible! The Oz Minister of Defence, John Faulkner, who is currently finishing a sentence he began this morning, finally managed to announce that the Defence Signals Directorate (DSD) or ‘Sigs,’ as it is affectionately known, has expanded its intelligence brief to include cyber security. Far be it from anyone ‘here’ to denigrate our Signals Corps but the question arises, from where is the Oz Military recruiting the only people able to ‘fight’ a cyber war, undisciplined, elite, civilian HACKERS?
