Climate Change -- cause and effect
by bluey Tuesday, Sep 22 2009, 7:23pm
international / environment / opinion/analysis

Oz hit early by effects of climate change.

Kings Cross
Kings Cross

Due to the rich colour of the soil, locals call the heart of Australia the 'red centre.' However, thousands of miles away in Sydney few citizens have witnessed the red splendour of the heart of the continent from their balconies!

Today was the exception. Climate change has resulted in high winds sweeping millions of tonnes of red topsoil across the continent to Sydney -- not exactly where it is needed most!

The picture above captures the dust storm and its cause -- rampant, unregulated Corporatism!

Wonder no more what is killing the planet. Corporate rapaciousness/pollution and bought puppet politicians serving the interests of their masters!
