A Strategy Primer
by Ibis Saturday, Jan 14 2006, 2:53pm
international / social equality/unity / article

Social cohesion has never been more fragile than at present. Developing an effective survival strategy in an age of bankrupt ideologies is a challenging but not impossible task. All known political ideologies have failed or are failing (including capitalism). The lack of viable alternatives betrays a 'whipped' and beaten Western population not a shortage of real options.

It is evident that the ‘powers of government' are at the mercy of criminal elites and extremists, unnecessary wars and global economic collapse indicate the fact.

A handful of extremists control the world's most powerful (at this moment) nation. The current world social reality is astounding if not absurd; never before have so few held sway over so many. No historical parallels exist.

It is imperative that the factors and forces involved in today’s social struggles are understood if successful strategies are to be developed and implemented against oppressive, criminal regimes that specialise in killing innocent civilians and avoiding accountability.

How was capitalism able to survive and prosper against considerable ideological opposition for the few hundred relatively short years of its life and what were the principal factors involved in its apparent resilience against contending ideologies?

  • Adaptability as opposed to the strict and rigid formulas of other ideologies.

  • Appropriation as opposed to elimination.

  • Attributive value addition as opposed to value subtraction.

  • Mutability as opposed to locative rigidity.

The above is by no means complete, however, it is sufficient for a clear case to be made – the reader is urged (obliged) to continue the process.

The major weakness of capitalism is its complete reliance on the value of money – which of course has no value at all – value is attributive, all value is endowed by you! You have been thoroughly trained to accept the value of objects presented as ‘valuable’, whereas in actuality, no real value exists. The reader will note that the handful of extremists who have severely impacted capitalist society place no value on money or any other material object. The lesson to be learnt here is devaluation of everything that is valued! Taken to the extreme it would include the devaluation of human life including the life of the ‘warrior’. Capitalism or any other ideology is powerless against this type of assault. One freedom fighter, Patrick Henry, “give me liberty or give me death”, instinctively understood the above principles.

A Jewish social reformer once said, in so many words, those who place importance on their lives automatically lose (their lives). An eternity as a dog does not equal a minute as a Lion!

The abstract is more powerful than the tangible, never forget it! Closed social formulas always defer to abstract ideals; however, for practical purposes avoid all formal ideologies, marXism etc, closed systems always fail; adaptability and mutability always prevail.

Always offer support but never seek it – mutual cooperation is the ideal. Do not follow leaders or lead followers; the group or community is a single unit, regardless of the number of individual components.

Always ‘inscribe’ never subscribe – no one else can follow your course nor you follow another’s course. Every man and woman is distinct.

In keeping with the ideal and integrity of this document the writer now accedes to the reader, if we are to overcome, your contribution is necessary. The stylus is now in your hands, inscribe well.
