Are the Earths Continental Plates on the Move …?

Australia experiences magnitude 4 earthquake off QLD

Australia is reputed to be one of the oldest and most stable land masses on the planet, so when it experiences a magnitude 4 earthquake following the devastating Pacific Rim quakes from NZ, Japan and that mysterious earth rupture in Peru, it’s time to ask geophysicists and other specialists what the fuck is going on?

Epicentre: from Geoscience Australia

If the tectonic plates are on the move then look out world, especially the San Andreas fault and nuclear power plants on the coast of California.

Is anyone able to obtain geophysical data and/or information on whether scientists are withholding important information for political reasons?

There is no doubt these sequential geological events ARE related and could be forerunners to major tectonic upheavals. The earth’s geological record bears testimony to previous SUDDEN catastrophic events in the past – I would add these events are perfectly normal occurrences for the earth.

There are literally thousands of geological and various other monitoring and measuring devices strategically located around the globe, so the information IS AVAILABLE. We would all like to know!

Report from The Cairns Post:

4.0 magnitude earthquake near Innisfail, Far North Queensland

GEOSCIENCE Australia says there has been a 4.0 magnitude earthquake off Innisfail, Far North Queensland, Australia.

Fish jumped out of the sea near Franklin Island during the quake, which occurred at 16:08 local time.

Keith Fisher at Russell Heads said the quake lasted for about four seconds.

“It sounded like distant thunder. There was a distant rumbling,’’ Mr Fisher said.

“I haven’t heard anything like it before. It was very slight.’’

There are no reports of damage and no tsunami warnings.

Staff in Kennedy MP Bob Katter’s Innisfail office felt vibrations from the quake through their desks.

One staffer was watching footage from Japan’s tsunami at the time of the tremor.

The last earthquake to hit Queensland occurred in 2004, also a magnitude 4.0 on the Richter scale.

At least 15 earthquakes above magnitude 3 have occurred within 100km of Innisfail since 1980.
