Condoleezza Rice

We would all like to ask Condy (her oil tankers notwithstanding) just what price Iraqi Oil against the life of one Iraqi child or one US citizen? Never in the history of the USA has it spawned a more dangerous group of clowns than George W and his neo-cons. They have only one motive – and that is money. The scant regard for human life is matched only by their total disregard for our environment. To watch them now attempting to contradict their way out of their previous fabrications is truly a pathetic comedy.

Our little neo-con gal Condy Rice was recently heard on the US media stating that "we" (I assume she refers to her fellow neo-cons) "expect more bombings and killings in the lead up to Iraqi independence" and that "this is to be expected!" Well, pass me the dill pickle please! Weren’t we led to believe that the worlds most powerful nation would sweep into Iraq, be welcomed with bouquets of flowers, vanquish the opposition with "shock and awe" and establish an American ‘democracy’ under the protection of the worlds most advanced military machine? How is it that we "expect more bombings and killings?" What sort of ‘protection’ and stability is this superpower offering?

It would seem that the neo-con world of spin and fantasy is being forced to swallow a ‘reality pill.’ But in true neo-con tradition – instead of dealing with the unfortunate reality in Iraq, Condy attempts (unsuccessfully) to adjust the reality of the American people. In view of the assurances the world was given in the lead-up to the invasion, to make the above statement confirms the ineptitude of the US regime and the outrageous lies that it perpetrated. An alternate possibility is that the neo-cons started believing their own spin and are now desperately attempting to reconcile reality with fantasy. In either or both cases what becomes unmistakably clear is the recklessness and incompetence of this strange oddity in world politics. It is also most unfortunate that Arabs don’t watch American TV, otherwise they could have followed the script like the rest of the population and everything would have turned out just like the spin-doctors wanted.

All of this would be amusing but for the fact that people are dying.

The UN could have solved the Iraqi problem but the avaricious oil interests had to make their personal grab for the oil at any cost. Tragic to the extreme is the loss of human life – but these nefarious individuals have calculated that the financial burden for the recent foray into Iraq is carried on the backs of US taxpayers, while the profits go to the oil interests.

Bear the above in mind when the military hierarchy and Rumsfeld attempt to scapegoat lower ranks to cover their own guilt regarding prisoner abuse; and when American mothers receive their sons bodies in coffins. Watch Condy’s mouth dry out as she makes the most ludicrous remarks to the media, in the hope that her administration can be saved. And never ever forget the human cost that Bush and his insane neo-cons have imposed on the world.

Are the people of the US going to wait until America becomes the pariah of the world and anti-US sentiment reaches boiling point or will they oust the Bush regime and install a new moral leadership of which they could be proud?

It is now clear that the Bush government is a miserable failure, there have never been more costly bungles in domestic security, international foreign policy and economic management in the history of the USA. It is now the prerogative of the American people to act for the good of all.
