Accept soft Colonisation like Australia, or face hard Military intervention
The current TREASONOUS and universally reviled Australian PM, Julia Gillard, recently signed off on F-I-V-E new, full scale US military bases on Oz soil! Make no mistake, Oz currently only hosts foreign radar and surveillance bases NOT nuclear missile carrying air and sea craft soon to be stationed in Oz!
Gillard, under clear instruction from a FOREIGN POWER -- America -- has without debate or MANDATE compromised Australia's national security to the hilt. Her treasonous action has made Oz a PRIMARY NUCLEAR TARGET in the event of an American provoked conflict with OUR Asian neighbours, which has already been planned!
Whether or not the Oz population will accept this situation when the UGLY truth is made public remains to be seen; however, Australians are known to be independent thinking and place a high value on their hard won freedoms -- in contrast to spineless, subservient Americans and other conquered/pacified peoples, such as the once fighting Serbs. [Kosovo could be re-claimed almost overnight if the people will it!]
Failing the soft colonial approach, America and NATO embark on what are euphemistically called 'humanitarian interventions' and 'democracy spreading campaigns;' however, the REALITY of military invasion, regime change and plunder is plainly evident today especially after the Libyan travesty.
The grotesque frauds and transparent pretexts for OVERT WAR and PLUNDER -- sanctioned by the UN -- conducted by the US and NATO do not go unnoticed by the global population. The ruse or days of mass deception regarding colonial pursuits ARE OVER. Nevertheless, the vision devoid forces of aggression continue to break all laws and conventions, with impunity, in their insane 'quest' for global supremacy, however, history and REALITY is against them.
Every empire that has utilised military brute force FAILS, usually by popular resistance, economic pressure (USSR) or internal corruption -- the US has all three factors in high activity!
American 'intellectuals' would do well to review the cultural empires of the East, especially India, which established dominance from its shores throughout South East Asia to reach even Bali! The Indian empire benefited conquered nations and peoples, influence was established via trade and cultural exchange not naked aggression, the method rustic America favours today.
America, as is clearly evident, promises nothing but mass murder, mayhem, destruction and THEFT on a grand scale; it's the nature of the beast. One need only refer to American history to see the 'Fort Apache' mentality of murder, appropriation and occupation in action today. However, Americans are not fighting easily vanquished natives any longer -- RESISTANCE IS RELENTLESS and PROMISES the complete COLLAPSE of an UNSUSTAINABLE American empire. Collapse will commence with global economic chaos followed by social, cultural and military collapse, make no mistake --expert political commentators and social analysts are unanimous in this view only the sequence of events and timing are in dispute. The end of 2011 will see the beginning of a COMPLETE economic global collapse -- all brought to you by the unregulated thieves and rogues on Wall St and the 'City' of London.
The above intro notwithstanding, I leave you with a report describing the usual unsustainable methods the US is employing to rule over and steal the wealth of weaker nations:
New Libyan Rebel [puppet] Leader Spent Much of Past 20 Years in Langley Virginia! [Is anyone surprised?]
The new leader of Libya's opposition military spent the past two decades in suburban Virginia but felt 'compelled' — even in his late-60s — to return to the battlefield in his homeland, according to people who know him.
Khalifa Hifter was once a top military officer for Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, but after a disastrous military adventure in Chad in the late 1980s, Hifter switched to the anti-Gadhafi opposition. In the early 1990s, he moved to suburban Virginia, where he established a life but maintained ties to anti-Gadhafi groups.
Late last week, Hifter was appointed to lead the rebel army, which has been in chaos for weeks. He is the third such leader in less than a month, and rebels interviewed in Libya openly voiced distrust for the most recent leader, Abdel Fatah Younes, who had been at Gadhafi's side until just a month ago.
At a news conference Thursday, the rebel's military spokesman said Younes will stay as Hifter's chief of staff, and added that the army — such as it is — would need "weeks" of training.
According to Abdel Salam Badr of Richmond, Va., who said he has known Hifter all his life — including back in Libya — Hifter -- whose name is sometimes spelled Haftar, Hefter or Huftur -- was motivated by his intense anti-Gadhafi feelings.
"Libyans — every single one of them — they hate that guy so much they will do whatever it takes," Badr said in an interview Saturday. "Khalifa has a personal grudge against Gadhafi... That was his purpose in life."
According to Badr and another friend in the U.S., a Georgia-based Libyan activist named Salem alHasi, Hifter left for Libya two weeks ago.
alHasi, who said Hifter was once his superior in the opposition's military wing, said he and Hifter talked in mid-February about the possibility that Gadhafi would use force on protesters.
"He made the decision he had to go inside Libya," alHasi said Saturday. "With his military experience, and with his strong relationship with officers on many levels of rank, he decided to go and see the possibility of participating in the military effort against Gadhafi."
He added that Hifter is very popular among members of the Libyan army, "and he is the most experienced person in the whole Libyan army." He acted out of a sense of "national responsibility," alHasi said.
"This responsibility no one can take care of but him," alHasi said. "I know very well that the Libyan army especially in the eastern part is in desperate need of his presence."
Omar Elkeddi, a Libyan expatriate journalist based in Holland, said in an interview that the opposition forces are getting more organized than they were at the beginning up the uprising. Hifter, he said, is "very professional, very distinguished," and commands great respect.
Since coming to the United States in the early 1990s, Hifter lived in suburban Virginia outside Washington, D.C. Badr said he was unsure exactly what Hifter did to support himself, and that Hifter primarily focused on helping his large family.
With Qaddafi on the run, we’re now hearing about Libya being a model for future U.S. interventions.
The New York Times today reports that Administration officials say the Libyan intervention “may, in some important ways, become a model for how the United States wields force in other countries where its interests are threatened.”
I should hope not.
Because what the United States and its European allies did was “international gangsterism,” as Dennis Kucinich so colorfully put it the other day.
Obama violated the Constitution and the War Powers Act by bombing Libya without Congressional approval when Libya didn’t pose a threat to the United States. And there’s a big difference between threatening the United States and threatening U.S. “interests”: Any country that opposes free trade and corporate domination may be said to threaten U.S. interests, at least the way the power elite defines them. So now future Presidents can cite the Libya intervention as precedent for bombing, say, Venezuela.
For their part, the allies violated the U.N. Security Council resolutions on Libya by providing huge amounts of weapons to the rebels when those resolutions had imposed an arms embargo on all parties.
What’s more, the CIA trained the rebel forces and guided their assaults.
And the rationale that Obama used, late in the game, for not abiding by the War Powers Act was a classic: The Administration said that because Libya’s air defenses were wiped out, U.S. pilots were no longer in harm’s way, so Congress need not worry about it.
You can call this the Obama Doctrine if you want, but it amounts to this: The President can go bomb any country it wants so long as that country doesn’t have air defenses, or the President can destroy a country’s air defenses and continue to wage war against that country—all without bothering to get approval from Congress.
This is but a [criminal model] recipe for more international gangsterism in the years ahead.

was talking to a yank about Kucinich's damning revelations, the American response, "so what!"
i was waiting to hear the popular refrain, "look what your country has done for you," which came in due course! i responded with, "i am more concerned with HOW it is doing it NOT what is done!"
we should never allow complacency to paralyse us as it has done with the immoral American i was challenging.
star-spangled complicity from US citizens is the only way the government is able to get away with MURDER.
