U.S. Intelligence Agencies Discover Open Secret

I shouldn’t be so harsh on the Americans; it took me years to discover I had a nose on my face but I was at a disadvantage, there is only one of me. Imagine the cost (tax payer’s money) involved in maintaining not one bloated ‘intelligence’ agency, but sixteen! After a period of three years, sixteen U.S. intelligence agencies have finally determined the sky is blue, people have noses on their faces and that the illegal Iraq intervention increased the ‘terrorist’ threat – bravo! [Where do I sign, that’s the job for me, or are these agencies selective basket cases – incompetent relatives, banjo players and those owed favours only need apply?] The following quote is from an article [link below] published on this site almost TWO years ago:
“If we examine the success rate of the many wars the US wages we see that the war on drugs is a complete failure; the war on crime has only increased the profits of organised criminals; the war on terror(ism) is being lost at an alarming rate. America has conveniently supplied the terrorists with a theatre [Iraq] in which to wage their war and increase their numbers.”
The author claims no special credentials other than common sense, a commodity sadly lacking in conservative America it would seem. The consequences of an illegal invasion, an appalling civilian death toll and plundering a weaker nation’s resources, would hardly engender harmonious relations – but don’t tell the American public, they are far too busy swallowing absurd propaganda and hysteria inducing fear rhetoric from Bush and his neo-cons. Would stating openly that the Bush administration is the most incompetent and dishonest the nation has ever known be too confronting a reality for a population steeped in denial?
A quick glance at the international newswire reveals that no one is surprised by this ‘revelation/leak’ except the American public – the whole affair could be laughed off except for the cost in human lives. What price a human life, and how many innocents must die in order for the few to accumulate extra wealth – blood money usually extracts blood as interest, a lesson America is slowing learning.
The latest revelation adds to the already infamous insanities, “bouquets of flowers”, “mission accomplished”, and not to be forgotten Dick Cheney’s claim that the “back of the resistance has been broken” (that lie was one better than “Saddam’s involvement in 9/11”); all we can say is, does the Bush administration have a slight problem with the truth or are they severely dissociative?
But the Corporate elephant hides in the kitchen; the most overlooked but perhaps the most dangerous lobby is the American Corporate anti-global warming lobby. Paid-for scientists and other ‘experts’ continue to claim that global warming is a natural phenomenon and not the direct result of pollution (Corporate litigation phobia).
America’s rustic mentality is well known internationally, but how many high-ranking generals must publicly state that Rumsfeld is incompetent before the penny drops in Bush’s vacuous head? What further proof is needed before the American population faces reality and removes these incompetents and lunatics from office?
The present U.S. administration is a disease that will continue to wreak death, destruction and endanger America/the world unless it is completely eradicated. Every last cancerous cell/neocon must be removed.
The above also applies to Blair and Howard, the remainder of the axis of deception. The Howard government is combating recent revelations with evasive tactics in the form of a headline grabbing bird-flu scare at Sydney airport, a typical Howard stunt. Blair is claiming the coalition of willing criminals did not initially create the terrorist problem; maybe not, but they have certainly given it the best possible reason to exist and expand – the terrorists could never have created such a perfect theatre (Iraq) in which to train and recruit; for this the terrorists are eternally grateful – America is its own worst enemy and the present leadership reflects this reality perfectly.
The hard reality is and has ALWAYS BEEN Iraq is a DEBACLE.
