Internalising defeat – the enemy’s most powerful weapon

I do not wish to be too harsh in my criticisms of invaded peoples, their plight is understandable; however, there are no excuses for defeatist weeping – tears do not destroy an enemy! The first instance of defeatist behaviour came to my attention during the criminal bombing of the Balkans by America and NATO nations. It is a shock to be stabbed in the back by friends (former allies) but who better to accomplish a foul deed than a former friend?
It was interesting to observe the reactions of a traditional warrior society – the Serbs. Their first reaction of course was shock – Serbs were unfamiliar with America’s intentions and criminal Balkan ‘strategy’ at the time – the next reaction was not altogether unexpected, profound disbelief and bewilderment!
Bewilderment robs one of natural psychological defences, which often results in the internalisation of abuse and guilt; tears flow like rivers in these circumstances but unfortunately tears do not win wars! The ‘tears’ from a Kalashnikov being an obvious exception!
I could hardly believe my eyes when western media captured Serbian men weeping in public over the bombing and injustices done to their nation – SERBS DO NOT WEEP LIKE HELPLESS WOMEN, THEY FIGHT AND DESTROY THEIR ENEMIES!
Watching Serbian men weeping like children led to some research and obvious conclusions.
The next instance that came to my attention was in the form of a story written by an Iraqi woman lamenting the criminal actions of the mass-murdering Americans; she had been forced into prostitution, the male members of her family had all been killed in the fighting and she was left with few options in her desperate need to feed her children and survive.
The Iraqi woman’s story and the weeping of Serbian men are the result of negative internalisations, ‘what have you done to me; look what you have done! I am innocent and you plunged a dagger into my heart!’ Yep, they sure did – GET OVER IT AND FIGHT!
I need not go into great length on the remedies available to people at war; however, no one as yet has improved on the standard strategy of eliminating/KILLING the enemy! The allure of a woman’s body is simply another weapon in the arsenal of a fighting guerilla force! ‘Extreme circumstances require extreme solutions’, an often forgotten but very accurate cliché!
All guerilla groups are familiar with the tactics of fighting more powerful forces; the advantage of choosing time, place, and type of attack lies with the smaller more mobile INVISIBLE FORCE.
No ‘elephant’ army can withstand continued assaults over an extended period in unfamiliar territory. The greatest empires in history have been defeated by these tactics; America and her few ‘allies’ pose no real problem for a DETERMINED, UNRELENTING, FIGHTING FORCE!
