Religion: a Global plague of the Mind - International Theology

In the Sudan this week a female school teacher faces dire consequences for her ‘crime’ of accommodating the wishes of one of her young students in naming a teddy bear. The child innocently requested that the teddy take the same name as himself, ‘Mohammed.’ The result of obliging the child has been arrest for the crime of 'blasphemy;' the teacher now languishes in a Sudanese jail!

The Dalai Lama, religious leader of Tibetans, today feels it necessary to break with tradition and choose a successor rather than ‘discovering’ an incarnate successor. Tradition dictates the next Dalai Lama is chosen from a number of infants who exhibit memory of their previous incarnation as the Dalai Lama; in that way the succession of the one incarnation continues -- supposedly unbroken -- and the 'integrity' of Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism is maintained.

An award-winning author of children’s fiction has been criticised by the Catholic League for “peddling candy-coated atheism.” Whatever one may think of his fiction, it certainly is preferable to ‘peddling blood-coated Christianity’, as the Bush regime has done with great success in Iraq. Bush has a holocaust to his ‘credit’ but author, Philip Pullman, only has a movie contract and the Whitbread prize to his!

In the first instance, it should be noted that blasphemy by definition is intentionally insulting God. The morons in Sudan who charged this poor woman are so ignorant and arrogant they imagine that God can be insulted (by humans) – impossible! God by definition is inviolate and immutable – nothing can despoil, pollute or insult God! But that is not the point, Mohammed was a man not God – that is the point!

What is clearly evident in this case is the worst political manipulation via theological means. It is the feeble attempt of theocrats to oppress and enslave the masses via texts created and produced by men. According to the text God is all-powerful and is therefore perfectly able to deal with all situations that require divine intervention! My message to the Sudanese people is to free themselves from the oppressive slavery of liars and rogues posing as theologians. These people clearly have no conception of ‘God’.

The Dalai Lama has recently proven himself to be a Buddhist fraud of the highest order by accepting honours from a nation engaged in infanticide and an ongoing holocaust in Iraq. The latest political ploy of this overt politician is simply to prevent China from ‘educating’ the new infant ‘incarnation’ of the Dalai Lama. A Chinese educated Dalai Lama would be an interesting proposition in view of China’s recent history – from rabid Marxism to rabid Capitalism. Imagine the next Dalai fraud sporting Gucci robes and spouting Marx as the original incarnation or Mao as the Panchen incarnation -- the ‘wonder’ of religion!

The world is facing extremely difficult issues today. It can ill-afford superstitious, violent groups divorced from the pressing realities that face us all. The future will be difficult enough without having to drag dead weight and demented religionists along. I am not espousing eradication (yet). Everyone should be given the opportunity to prove their faith.

According to Christian texts (the words of Jesus) Christian believers are impervious to poisons and deadly snake bites. In Australia we have the deadliest snake in the world, the Northern Taipan; however, regions that lack venomous reptiles could resort to cyanide. I hope this clear exposure of the fantasy that is Christianity puts an end to the blithering, mindless, violent, ranting AND ACTIONS of ALL Christians. Of course we could put it to the test if you wish!

For the sake of a healthy community all religious leaders should be incarcerated in order to allow their respective Gods to intervene and release them. Alternatively they could ingest cyanide and subject themselves to the bites of venomous reptiles to prove their faith. Any takers, you bunch of murdering, cowardly shits?

The fact remains that ‘Gods’ are ALL man made and ‘miraculous’ events are pure fiction or tricks; of course the challenge remains open to prove otherwise. In the meantime any attempts to impose religious bullshit or indoctrinate innocents or others incapable of exercising the discriminative faculty will be considered a criminal offence – far too much blood has been spilt in the name of religion to allow this social disease to continue unabated.

Some advice for religionists: the next time you open your murdering, poisonous mouths, be very careful, you may be forced to prove your belief – very easily done. I would add for legal advocates and legislators; the means to cure society of this dysfunctional malaise exists in the preposterous claims made in the respective religious texts themselves -- integrity is therefore maintained. Exposing and/or challenging religious leaders in this way places legal responsibility on the religionists.

The days of primitive, superstitious ideologies are over – and so are the days of accruing wealth by avoiding tax responsibilities!
