Afghanistan: US/NATO desperate for ‘good news’
by budgie Wednesday, Jun 18 2008, 7:27am
international / peace/war / commentary

When you are taking a pounding and your whole strategy goes up in smoke it becomes imperative to feed the home front some ‘good news’ (lies) – we wouldn’t want to appear as incompetent losers, would we?

For US/NATO occupation forces it’s ALL bad news at the moment and has been so for quite some time! So, in the absence of REAL good news just manufacture some! However, for lies to appear credible they must at least conform to known truths and realities.

Corporate stooges, war criminals, and sick bastards
Corporate stooges, war criminals, and sick bastards

[I’ve mentioned it previously and will state it again for the benefit of American vacuum-heads; it is INTELLIGENCE AND SKILL THAT WINS THE DAY – are you people able to read?]

Western compliant media is awash with ‘news’ of a head-to-head OPEN military confrontation between Taliban forces and NATO/US invaders at Kandahar – Huh! [Reality] Afghanis are the most seasoned and experienced guerrilla fighters on the planet with centuries of experience DEFEATING more powerful invaders. The FIRST rule of guerrilla fighting is NEVER confront a superior force in head-on conflict! Eighteenth century military tactics may make good movies, Mr Rupert Murdoch, but that’s all!

Western media would have us believe that an EXPERT guerrilla fighting force is about to mount an 18th century style confrontation against the ‘red coats’ – well, gentlemen, blow it out your arses OR tell it to your grandmothers, you incompetent morons!

As for you, Rupert, you may have the dumbarse yanks fooled but we’re Aussies, same convict culture as you, and we have your measure, Mr. ‘one foot in the grave!’

A skirmish does not constitute a major battle with Taliban forces; but let's not disturb the feeble propaganda designed for yankee doodle dummies.

Ni hao, Wendi -- one more time, Rupert, c'mmon, you can do it!
