Exposing God, the root of the Problem!
finch, Tuesday, Jan 6 2009, 11:22pm
Everything we know, including our knowledge of ‘God,’ NECESSARILY (must) refer back to the source of production of that knowledge, HUMANITY! That rather obvious fact should be self-evident, however, few are able to appreciate the clarity and simplicity of TRUTH – have you not yet noticed that everything we know of ‘God’ has been PRODUCED and encoded BY MAN? Furthermore, all man-made Gods are peculiar to and described by the idiosyncrasies of the cultures that created/produced them! (story and 2 images)

The nation’s First Family smiles while the blood of innocents flows
quin, Monday, Jan 5 2009, 7:26am
What an utterly tragic and perfect disgrace. The first family of the USA is all smiles while other ‘less human’ families and children are blown to bits or lay dying in hospitals deprived of medicines and supplies – the result of an Israeli blockade and murderous attack on Gaza! We are reminded of the Clinton embargo on Iraq which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi ‘sub-human’ children; a price considered “worth it” by former Democrat Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright -- a taste of things to come! Government propaganda ministry biggest advertiser in UK!
quill, Sunday, Jan 4 2009, 1:11am
Now there’s a revealing little morsel (see insert), but not a complete surprise as it matches proportional increases in advertising spending by the Australian and other Western governments – the propaganda expenditure in the USA, the nation with the most to hide and disguise, cannot be assessed as the figure is astronomical! Donald Rumsfeld, as Secretary of Defence, couldn’t account for $2.3 TRILLION, which ‘somehow’ disappeared in his Department, what hope then for accurate figures from thousands of agencies servicing various governments across the USA? Obama and a status quo we can believe in!
nano, Saturday, Jan 3 2009, 12:30am
Sit back, relax and we’ll do it for you – why not exploit existing conditioning? It would not be an oversimplification to state that Obama won a presidential campaign based on two words and one second-hand slogan, ‘Change,’ ‘Hope’ and ‘Yes we can!’ In any other nation people would have demanded generous helpings of DETAIL served with their ambiguities, but not in lobotomised America, a land where a good slogan can take you to the top. The American people have once again paid the price for investing meaning where none previously existed – it’s an old (tired) advertising TRICK that continues to work on gullible, ill-educated populations! Sing it! Bye, bye, bye, Obama; fly, fly, fly, Credibility ..
Staff report via talya, Thursday, Jan 1 2009, 9:11pm
Former Georgia Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney has called upon President-Elect Barack Obama to "please, say something about the humanitarian crisis that is being experienced by the Palestinian people, by the people of Gaza." McKinney spoke to CNN news from the Lebanese city of Tyre, where she had debarked from the relief vessel Dignity after it was rammed on the high seas by an Israeli patrol boat, early Tuesday morning. Passengers also report the Israelis fired machine guns into the water near their ship. (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

The Crisis of Common Sense: Is It So Difficult To Understand The Financial Crisis?
Matthias Chang via rialator, Thursday, Jan 1 2009, 7:21pm
[We all have a thinking, highly evolved BRAIN that loves nothing more than to do its job -- given half a chance it will serve YOU very well indeed.]
Thinking & Common Sense
God gave us a brain to think, to think naturally and in simple terms, not in convoluted ways.
When we think naturally and use common sense to address problems we are able to arrive at simple and effective solutions. However, our education system tortures us mentally and forces us to think in convoluted, unnecessarily complicated ways. Our teachers, economists, politicians and other so-called 'experts' make mountains out of mole-hills, turning simple truths into complex arguments and theories. (story and 1 image)

Failure to heed lessons from recent past spells doom for Obama
budgie, Tuesday, Dec 30 2008, 8:17pm
The 44th Presidency promises to be a watershed in American history but not for the reasons hoped for by vested and other interests – it is over gentlemen! Obama has already been accurately assessed by the people as a betrayer, turncoat, house slave and lackey. (story and 4 images)

Leaders LIE, civilians DIE, and lessons of history are IGNORED
Robert Fisk via reed, Monday, Dec 29 2008, 8:02pm
We've got so used to the carnage of the Middle East that we don't care any more – providing we don't offend the Israelis. It's not clear how many of the Gaza dead are civilians, but the response of the Bush administration, not to mention the pusillanimous reaction of Gordon Brown, reaffirm for Arabs what they have known for decades: however they struggle against their antagonists, the West will take Israel's side. As usual, the bloodbath was the fault of the Arabs – who, as we all know, only understand force.

Nice try, but …
dev null, Sunday, Dec 28 2008, 9:10pm
The British PM, Gordon Brown, sent as clear a message with his recent “save the world” slip/gaffe in the British Commons as did grotesque rodent and former Oz PM, John Howard upon his return to Oz post 9/11. Howard’s body language spoke volumes at the time though his mouth spewed the usual LIES. Howard, as recorded on national TV news, behaved as though he was ducking a magpie attack, yet no dive-bombing maggies or other tangible threats from overhead were evident, very revealing behaviour indeed! Howard had just been briefed in Washington on the new world order -- as America fantasised it – he was clearly not a happy, CRINGING, LACKEY, COWARD at the time! (story and 1 image)

Keeping it simple – so Americans understand!
nano, Saturday, Dec 27 2008, 10:22pm
Contributors and editors have decided to apply the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) principle to the majority of future posts. It became apparent over time that many people find even pedestrian English difficult to comprehend – no prizes! We have also decided to use language in an offensive manner (both meanings apply) as Evangelicals, space cadets and other assorted losers, run in horror when confronted with colourful words like ‘FUCK’ etc; these ‘mental lepers’ cringe when they encounter the 'SHIT' word -- preferring to use the ridiculous and infantile ‘poo’ instead! We should not forget that these are the same people that do not hesitate to install AND SUPPORT known morons, con-men and mass murderers as their Presidents and leaders. (story and 2 comments)

Little question all thinking people should ask – and it seems they are an endangered species these days -- how many US or NATO forces/soldiers have been tried for war crimes and other crimes against humanity at the Hague since 1999? Answer: none! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Now do a little research and discover for yourselves how many INNOCENT CIVILIANS these forces murder on a DAILY basis! A very high price is extracted for transforming your brains into soup, you mindless fuckin’ morons.

The Federal Reserve Abolition Act
Stephen Lendman via reed, Friday, Dec 26 2008, 7:10am
On June 15, 2007, Ron Paul introduced HR 2755: Federal Reserve Abolition Act. There were no co-sponsors, no further action was taken, and the legislation was referred to the House Committee on Financial Services and effectively pigeonholed and ignored.

Merry fuckin' Christmas
yarra, Wednesday, Dec 24 2008, 10:59pm
Everything once considered sacred in Western society -- the free market is God -- is falling apart in the most dramatic and public manner. All excuses based on ignorance evaporated with your jobs, savings and homes. Excuses based on a lack of information, knowledge or PROOF are all INVALID after Cheney CONFIRMED on national television that he is a war criminal and torturer! Almost all your leaders have been exposed as puppets, buffoons and/or mass murderers – the pillars of your society proved to be made of chalk. Everything you have been taught as Truth has been exposed as LIES – it’s all coming down as I write; a $50 billion fraud here and there is nothing compared to a $700 billion bailout that blew out to $8.5 trillion in weeks – I can hardly contain my laughter – you pathetic, spineless, turds!

Yep, we are now getting it served up for breakfast on a daily basis! Did you think there was something slightly amiss when the Bush administration described TORTURE/waterboarding as “enhanced interrogation,” for Pete’s sake! Or how about describing invasion, plunder and mass murder as spreading “liberty, democracy and freedom,” for fuck’s sake? There are now hundreds of such linguistic travesties littering our culture thanks to the criminals, rogues and MURDERERS WE ALLOWED to occupy positions of influence and power.

Doomed to failure: Wall St Banksters continue to Deceive
quill, Sunday, Dec 21 2008, 12:08am
The following analysis is revealing for a number of shocking reasons, not least of which is that criminal Wall St Banksters are attempting to deceive their way out of insolvency by creating money from nothing! Isn’t that what caused the global financial collapse in the first instance? What have these white-collar criminals learnt, NOTHING, it seems?

Is this ‘Hope?’
finch, Saturday, Dec 20 2008, 8:49pm
Obama’s reaction to ONGOING Wall St. fraud and insider Bankster secrecy falls EXTREMELY short of the expectations of REFORM that HE created during HIS fraudulent election campaign!
Confronting the latest outrageous example ($50b) of ongoing CRIMINAL FRAUD from yet another ROBBER BARON, Bernard Madoff, Obama revealed his feebleness, weakness and reticence; the best he could offer in full view of the largest fraud in American/world history was, regulators "fell asleep at the switch" and “dropped the ball” – for Pete’s sake – more ambiguous, meaningless metaphors, reminiscent of the linguistic chicanery of the outgoing administration. The people are not amused! (story and 3 comments and 2 images)

Unconventional Warfare in the 21st Century
Tom Burghardt via quin, Friday, Dec 19 2008, 8:47pm
On December 13, the whistleblowing website Wikileaks did investigative and citizen journalists a great service by publishing the Army Special Operations Forces FM 3-05.130, titled Unconventional Warfare. [Available below.]
Published in September 2008, the 248-page document though unclassified, is restricted "to U.S. Government agencies and their contractors only to protect technical or operational information from automatic dissemination under the International Exchange Program or by other means." The Department of the Army urges recipients to "destroy by any method that will prevent disclosure of contents or reconstruction of the document." Wikileaks has guaranteed that the disappearance of this critical primary source into the bowels of the Pentagon will not occur. (story and 2 images and 1 attached file)

Obama and Washington Mythmaking
Robert Parry via reed, Friday, Dec 19 2008, 8:31pm
Over the years, Washington has evolved into a city of deceptions where semantics cloud reality and where a hazy mix of lies, half-truths and mythology can combine to unleash the devastating military might of the United States for no good reason. Indeed, if there were to be a serious effort to "change the mindset" that got the United States into the Iraq War - as Barack Obama has promised - one place to start would be to force Official Washington to take a long hard look in the mirror.

Kevin Rudd risks becoming the toilet paper PM of world history
Kingfisher, Friday, Dec 19 2008, 12:00am
As the US makes plans to close its infamous, excised detention centre, Guantanamo ‘torture’ Bay; Australia opens its newly built, high tech, excised detention/torture centre on ‘Christmas’ Island -- just in time for Christmas! Cheney Praises Obama's National Security Team [A most revealing stamp of approval, don't YOU think, Jethro?]
Washington, D.C. (AHN) - Reflecting on his eight years in office in his first interview since the elections, Vice President Dick Cheney praised President-elect Barack Obama's national security team but defended the Bush administration's anti-terror policies, including its use of waterboarding and its decision to invade Iraq, which he said would've still taken place even if intelligence had been accurate.
