banksyhooded.jpg image Cheney/Bush/Israel determined to ignite WWIII Peter Chamberlin via reed, Monday, Apr 28 2008, 8:42pm
Judging from the campaign rhetoric coming out of both camps, whoever wins the Oval Office will be inclined to continue the failed military policies in Iraq and to pursue a confrontation with Iran. Apparently it does not matter to either party what will follow those actions, or what these disastrous policies have produced as they played-out in Iraq and Afghanistan. It does not matter who gets elected, whether it is "bomb, bomb Iran" McCain, or "obliterate/massive retaliation" Clinton, nothing will change. (story and 1 image)

Rudd the dud image Oz PM sacrifices Aussie lives for U.S. criminal enterprise barra, Sunday, Apr 27 2008, 8:37pm
The justification the Australian Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, offers families and the Australian public for the needless deaths of our servicemen in Afghanistan is that al-Qaeda attacked ‘his’ ally the USA! Al-Qaeda is Bin Laden’s organisation; they are clearly not Afghanis! The people responsible for actions against western occupation forces in Afghanistan are Afghanis; the same tribal groups that fought Alexander the Great and Imperial Britain. The propaganda offered by western occupation forces to justify wars of plunder, land acquisition and occupation convinces only the feeble minded. None of it justifies the cost – in human lives – of the current occupation. This particularly applies to Australia, which is so far removed from Afghanistan that all attempts at justification meet with sneers and incredulity. (story and 1 image)

Ortega, Chavez, Morales and friends image Latin America: the attack on democracy John Pilger via rialator, Friday, Apr 25 2008, 9:20am
Beyond the sound and fury of its conquest of Iraq and campaign against Iran, the world's dominant power is waging a largely unreported war on another continent - Latin America. Using proxies, Washington aims to restore and reinforce the political control of a privileged group calling itself middle-class, to shift the responsibility for massacres and drug trafficking away from the psychotic regime in Colombia and its mafiosi, and to extinguish hopes raised among Latin America's impoverished majority by the reform governments of Venezuela, Ecuador and Bolivia. text Timor-Leste: Australian occupier reluctant to provide crucial information! finch, Tuesday, Apr 22 2008, 9:22pm
Jose Ramos-Horta, President of Timor-Leste, has formally requested the bank and phone records of assassinated rebel leader, Alfredo Reinado, which are currently held by Australian authorities. But that information has so far been withheld from the president of Timor-Leste! In other words, Australian occupiers refuse to furnish information to the president of the occupied nation; an ‘action’ which certainly removes all doubts regarding East Timor’s sovereignty and independence. A suspicious situation to say the least! (story and 1 comment)

'Grateful' Pres. Talabani slobbers on Rice image Condoleezza Rice rushes to reassure Iraqi Puppet government budgie, Sunday, Apr 20 2008, 9:38pm
Immediately after the Iraqi Shi'ite leader Muqtada al-Sadr threatened to unleash open warfare in Iraq and remove the U.S. puppet government, Condi Rice jumped a jet -- instead of Bush – and flew to Iraq to reassure the subservient Maliki that the U.S. would soon be launching an attack on Iran, which -- it hoped -- would weaken and disrupt Sadr’s power base, dream on Condi! [Are we watching all this Russia and China; are we ready for the Israeli attack on Syria and the U.S. attack on Iran, ‘comrades?’ Or are we too busy with the Olympic games – the perfect time to attack?] (story and 2 comments and 1 image)

popebush.jpg image Pope Hypocrite and religious envy syndrome fish, Saturday, Apr 19 2008, 7:56am
In the most flagrant manner possible the Roman Catholic Pope, as if to compete with the recent brazen hypocrisy of the Dalai Fraud, ended a speech in the U.S. with Bush’s favourite concluding remark, “God bless America” – suck, suck! We are aware religious leaders live sheltered lives but the civilian death toll in Iraq, now exceeding one million, with an additional four million displaced persons and a totally ruined state, is difficult for even a Pope to ignore! text Meltdown of U.S. Dollar Underway as China Dumps the Currency David Gutierrez via reed, Thursday, Apr 17 2008, 8:02pm
Comments by China that it intends to move away from its reliance on the dollar triggered a sharp drop in the Dow Jones Industrial Average and heightened worldwide fears about the U.S. currency's stability. Chinese Central Bank Vice Director Xiu Jian said that his country is planning to shift much of its $1.4 trillion national currency reserve from dollars to more stable currencies, such as the euro or Canadian dollar. After these comments, the dollar fell to record lows relative to other currencies -- the lowest ever against the euro, the lowest in a generation against the British pound, and the lowest in 57 years against the Canadian dollar. East Timor PM, Xanana Gusmao image Timor-Leste: Reinado, the expendable operative dingo, Wednesday, Apr 16 2008, 9:35pm
Jose Ramos-Horta, president of East Timor, returned home to a warm, staged welcome today, however, he also returns to a stew of intrigue, double dealing, back-stabbing and very lethal politics – watch your back Jose, your PM Xanana Gusmao is a duplicitous jackal! There are more questions surrounding the fateful day duped and expendable rebel leader, Alfredo Reinado, was shot and killed in the grounds of the President’s residence than satisfactory answers from any quarter. text Superpowers prepare for War in the Middle East finch, Tuesday, Apr 15 2008, 9:52pm
The superpowers are quiet at the moment but its not a restive quiet, it’s a lull before the storm! Few would misinterpret Cheney’s recent (preparatory) trip to the Middle East; Bush’s plan to ‘get Iran’ is about to be realised; Syria will have to wait or perhaps that task has been allotted to Israel. This war will see the introduction of tactical nuclear weapons by America and its ally Israel – the utter murderous INSANITY of it all -- but what of Russian and Chinese interests in the region?

text Torture: Beyond The Pale SPI Editorial via reed, Monday, Apr 14 2008, 8:02pm
The image of CIA officers demonstrating and detailing torture techniques considered for use during detainee interrogations in the White House is one most Americans could probably never conceive. And yet, ABC News reported last week that senior Bush administration officials were privy to such presentations in the Situation Room as they discussed and approved the brutal treatment (such as waterboarding) of terror suspects. They also approved combining various techniques to be used on a suspect.

Come and see
our overflowing morgues and find our little ones ...
You may find them in this corner or the other, a little hand poking out, pointing at you...
Come and search for them in the rubble of your ‘surgical’ air raids, you may find a little leg or a little head...pleading for your attention.

Come and see them amassed in the garbage dumps, scavenging morsels of food...

Come and see, come....

See them being trafficked, raped, sold and finally killed by your brave boys. The “final solution.” Remember that one? It was not so long ago...Except this time it is carried out by the "greatest democracy on earth." …

Deputy PM and former card carrying 'red', Julia Gillard image Email spying: Gillard’s croc of Stalinist totalitarianism Kismo, Sunday, Apr 13 2008, 8:40pm
The totalitarian leaning Australian government announced today that it would legislate to allow ‘employers/bosses’ to read the emails and other digital communications of their employees. A ‘slight’ intrusion on personal liberties to say the bloody least – perhaps staff should read managements’ emails to maintain a security balance! Who is watching the watchers? No one of course! This strategy is unadulterated totalitarian poison, designed to alienate and engender mistrust and division among employees and make them more amenable to their employer’s control. The feeble excuse offered the Australian public for this unacceptable intrusion is maintaining “national security.” Not so, Ms Stasi Gillard! (story and 1 image)

text Obama wins first battle for the democratisation of America banjo, Saturday, Apr 12 2008, 11:04pm
Referring to specifics – THE INTERNET – Barack Obama sent shock waves through traditional ruling communities in the USA and western WORLD! The rich and powerful had just been given a wake-up call by a black American of Kenyan and Irish ancestry. Alarm and consternation has befallen members of the Bilderberg group; their traditional power-base -- wealth -- had just been threatened by a ‘dark’ horse Senator from Illinios! “We have created a parallel public financing system where the American people decide -- if they want to support a campaign they can get on the Internet and finance it,” Obama stated at a Washington fundraiser. “And they will have as much access and influence over the course and direction of our campaign that traditionally [was] reserved for the wealthy and the powerful, he added! text Washington Plays ‘Tibet Roulette’ with China F. William Engdahl via reed, Thursday, Apr 10 2008, 6:41am
Washington has obviously decided on an ultra-high risk geopolitical game with Beijing by fanning the flames of violence in Tibet just at this sensitive time in their relations and on the run-up to the Beijing Olympics. It’s part of an escalating strategy of destabilization of China which has been initiated by the Bush Administration over the past months. It also includes the attempt to ignite an anti-China Saffron Revolution in the neighboring Myanmar region, bringing US-led NATO troops into Darfur where China’s oil companies are developing potentially huge oil reserves. It includes counter moves across mineral-rich Africa. And it includes strenuous efforts to turn India into a major new US forward base on the Asian sub-continent to be deployed against China, though evidence to date suggests the Indian government is being very cautious not to upset Chinese relations. Rudd insulting his Chinese hosts image Kevin Rudd, errand boy and hypocrite barra, Wednesday, Apr 9 2008, 6:17am
The Australian PM and U.S. errand boy, Kevin Rudd, very un-diplomatically took the American position on Tibet while on an official visit to China. It seems our pipsqueak leader has forgotten his primary responsibility of promoting and pursuing Australian interests. Daddy America came first with Howard and Rudd is nothing if not a Howard clone. Our Kevin is running the same slavish course set by Howard. (story and 1 comment and 1 image)
