Retrograde Anglicanism exemplified by Sydney Archbishop
fish, Saturday, Mar 22 2008, 12:50am
It’s Easter, celebrated with eggs, sweet breads and other PAGAN fertility symbols, all of which herald the Spring Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere; a time of growth, renewal and regeneration – a very important event for early agrarian societies. However, the Anglican Archbishop of Sydney, ‘Dr’ Peter Jensen, seems to be unaware of the pagan origins of Easter celebrations; his Easter message this year contained a warning of the dangers of the “occult” or PAGAN RELIGION! Osiris and the Golden (Solar) phallus of ‘resurrection’
fish, Friday, Mar 21 2008, 12:55am
Easter! It’s that time of year again when Christian leaders (hypocrites) make public appearances and drivel religious inanities or refer to impossible social behaviours that no human being is able to observe for an extended period -- the flesh truly is weak! So weak in fact that it cannot fly (walk on water) or take life again after it has expired! Yet he is ‘risen’ indeed! (story and 3 images and 1 attached file)

Tibet: tactical destabilisation
nano, Thursday, Mar 20 2008, 12:36am
In 1999 the UN Security Council was ignored and America embarked, with its NATO allies, on an illegal bombing campaign of Yugoslavia. That illegal but supremely successful strategy was designed to fragment one nation into numerous powerless states, gain a foothold in the Balkans and establish a permanent presence with the view to securing energy supplies/infrastructure/corridors. The plan sought to override International law and convention, diminish the role of the UN in international affairs and directly challenge Russia and China, as both nations were firm allies of Yugoslavia and perceived to be enemies of the West. Inverted realities and illogic as warfare
pixie, Wednesday, Mar 19 2008, 12:19am
Events this week highlight the madness that currently grips the international community. Many instances of Orwellian ‘double speak’ could be culled from the inane propaganda disseminated by US/NATO forces during their illegal bombing of former Yugoslavia in 1999. Add to that the nonsensical (mad) drivel that has issued from the mouths of American leaders in relation to Iraq and Iran over the past five years and the fictional absurdities (Mad Hatter's tea party) of some English novelists begin to look tame. But events this week pushed the envelope of incredulity to levels that even the most dim-witted, inbred, American rustic would find difficult to bear! (story and 1 image)

A faint glow on the horizon
peptide, Sunday, Mar 16 2008, 10:19pm
China’s inaction after the deliberate bombing of its Embassy in Belgrade by US president, Bill Clinton in 1999 – the year WWIII actually began – has invited further assaults on Chinese sovereignty by America. However, the latest assault utilises a proxy to provoke political unrest and destabilise the ethnically imbalanced Tibetan region. A formula that worked to perfection most recently in Kosovo! Germany and Israel form new alliance
quin, Saturday, Mar 15 2008, 8:51am
Fresh from its very active role in the destruction of Yugoslavia and its involvement with rebel forces in the Serbian province of Kosovo, Germany now pipes a very familiar tune in the Middle East. In what appears to be a very odd historical twist, fascist Germany now pledges allegiance to Nazi Israel – but is anyone really surprised? (story and 1 comment)

Living my own private Fascism
dada, Friday, Mar 14 2008, 11:18pm
Caught myself roaming the conservative side of my personality one afternoon – confronting the effects of rigorous toilet training is fascinating! The strangest thoughts began to overwhelm me but they were somehow alluring, intoxicating in a distinctively pathological way, so I let them flow – can YOU hear the sound of one jackboot marching? The efforts of America and its allies to demonise people and nations that assert their sovereignty and rights are often foiled by poignant reminders of reality. Truth jolts us back into stark reality and forces us to face our collective humanity. (story and 1 image)

“Free market” zealots bring death to America
Paul Craig Roberts via rialator, Thursday, Mar 13 2008, 7:23pm
March 12. Crude oil for April delivery hit $110 per barrel. The US dollar fell to a new low against the Euro. It now takes $1.55 to purchase one Euro. These new highs against the dollar are the ongoing story of the collapse of the US dollar as world reserve currency and corresponding collapse of American power.

Ramos-Horta and a grain of salt
Kingfisher, Wednesday, Mar 12 2008, 9:52pm
Today’s international newswire is alive with the scripted account of the ‘gunman who shot the president;’ from Ramos-Horta’s own mouth no less! Surely that should convince everyone -- the Australians and Americans are hoping. (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

British colonialism meets PNAC
Liliana Segura via reed, Tuesday, Mar 11 2008, 11:29pm
British Foreign Secretary David Miliband issued an embarrassing apology to members of Parliament last month. Despite "earlier explicit assurances" to the contrary, he admitted, two planes carrying prisoners of the U.S. "war on terror" had landed on the British-owned island of Diego Garcia in 2002 before flying to foreign territory as part of the American extraordinary rendition program. War Crimes Trial Begins for Croatian General Who Worked With Americans
Marlise Simons via rialator, Tuesday, Mar 11 2008, 7:27pm
PARIS — A popular Croatian general who led a brutal operation that drove the Serbs out of Eastern Croatia near the end of the Balkans war went on trial in The Hague on Tuesday for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Gen. Ante Gotovina, working closely with American advisers, was the commander of a military campaign in the summer of 1995 that put an end to the Serbian occupation of Eastern Croatia and forced more than 150,000 Serbs to flee towns and villages where they had lived for generations. Balkans at crisis point
dusan, Monday, Mar 10 2008, 10:35pm
Washington and its western allies are shitting themselves over the prospect of Serbia asserting its inalienable right over its territories after the formation of a new Serbian government. Whether the west chooses to label Serbs nationalists, liberals, hardliners or brigands is irrelevant – Serbs will never give up Kosovo! Try and understand it is impossible to give up what makes you what you are! Even the thought of losing Kosovo fills Serbs with shame and intolerable humiliation.

The Dalai Lama’s religious hypocrisy equals the best of the West
finch, Monday, Mar 10 2008, 9:45am
Fresh from receiving honours and a gold medal from the world’s most brazen mass murderer and torturer, George W Bush, the exiled Dalai Lama of Tibet has begun another round of China-bashing, which he obviously timed for the approaching Beijing Olympics. Why they call this man a religious leader is beyond rational comprehension. The Dalai Lama today is 100% political and could care less which devil he sleeps with in order to achieve his goals! Digital underbelly of the World
Kismo, Sunday, Mar 9 2008, 10:15am
The crews laugh at times at the lack of expertise displayed by western government agencies in the area of IT security. The Internet belongs to those with the greatest level of skill and there is no shortage of it ‘out there’ – crews, teams and individuals -- but sadly very little real talent ‘in there,’ moronic government agencies and corporations. No real hacker could tolerate an office/fixed environment for more then a day or so! It is the nature of the beast and the environment in which it lives.

Take a good look at my face!
nano, Saturday, Mar 8 2008, 7:41pm
Propaganda has largely replaced news in the modern world; this is particularly the case with regimes that flout law, civil liberties and humanitarian issues. Occasionally the news cannot be manipulated contorted or dressed in fine lies to make it palatable. This is the case with torture. (story and 1 comment)

Doodle dandy out of intellectual depth in Europe
zoran, Friday, Mar 7 2008, 8:53pm
Daniel Fried, the US assistant secretary of state for European affairs, is definitely an American and has the ‘intellectual ability’ to prove it. Addressing the press in the Serbian province of Kosovo, Fried said, “[Kosovo] independence is a fact. This is a reality. History is only going to move forward!" [My emphasis]
Temporal, philosophical, historical and general intellectual incompetence aside for the moment; Fried’s staggeringly stupid comment clearly exhibits the agitation experienced in Washington over the mess it has created in the Balkans! (story and 2 comments)
