As a result he was rightly accused by disillusioned supporters, commentators and analysts of disingenuous and traitorous behaviour -- his INTEGRITY took a severe battering from which it has not recovered. Obama has made no effort to date to redeem his former reputation by proving his accusers wrong – but why should he now, he has ‘won’ the race to the White House? To the (background) sound of the roaring crowd, applauding, cheering, whistling and screaming -- as mindless as any crowd the Roman Colosseum would have contained – the announcer exclaimed, “can you hear that; the sound of rapturous supporters; let’s all absorb the atmosphere?” With that Obama began one of the most mediocre victory speeches I have ever heard -- and I’ve heard a few!
