Iraq: an American ‘Success’ Story
Al, Monday, May 10 2010, 11:45pm
Iraq is an excellent example of American ‘success,’ knowhow and ‘genius,’ is it not? Afghanistan is proving a better example still! These two screaming, REAL LIFE examples of American incompetence, ineptitude, overt flouting of international law and human rights, just won’t fade into the background. Almost daily the newswires contain more horrid examples of civilian killing by Americans and the MASSIVE DESTABILISATION that ensues. The ‘stability, liberty and democracy’ that America promised Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan AND the WORLD, is proving to be a very bitter experience for the innocent civilians of Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Take a quick squiz at the REALITY today and VERIFY the truth for yourself. (story and 3 comments and 1 image)

Failure by Conscious Design: Private Banking
cleaves, Saturday, May 8 2010, 11:57pm
The masses sometimes remind me of a woman I once knew; completely oppressed/stifled by her current relationship and living conditions but unable to face the uncertainty and challenge of breaking FREE! Don’t we all know it to a greater or lesser extent? Gender really has nothing to do with our internal contradictions, fears and the uncertainty of facing the unknown. Nevertheless, how does this analogy of human emotions relate to the forced failure of the (criminal) PRIVATE banking/financial system?

Oz: Burqa bullshit
dasha, Friday, May 7 2010, 11:02am
An ‘Australian’ politician of Italian fascist background (great qualifications) has made international headlines by raising the racist spectre once again; notwithstanding from behind the ‘veil’ of national identity! According to Senator Cory Bernardi, wearing a ‘barfa’ "is un-Australian” – here we go again. Another idiot that thinks he has a copyright definition on what it is to be ‘Stralyan’ – a whop clown pontificating from the political, suck my American arse, capital, Canberra. Well he’d know, wouldn’t he? (story and 2 images)

The graph below is yet another example of the REALITY -- as opposed to the LIES, spin and advertising – of the Corporate influence/effect on ALL our lives. (story and 2 comments and 1 image)

Oil Companies: All profit NO disaster Contingencies
teale, Friday, Apr 30 2010, 9:31pm
Have we got the picture yet, regarding off-shore oil platforms and their obvious lack of contingency plans in the event of disastrous spills? Oz had a catastrophic explosion and fire on an off-shore rig that spilled thousands of tonnes of oil into pristine seas off Western Australia -- the State that is run by Transnational mining and gas/oil Corporations. Criminal elites – see how they run!
ryall, Wednesday, Apr 28 2010, 9:30pm
As a kid I enjoyed a fairytale about a Lion raised as a sheep. One day, faced with predatory wolves, this LION realised who it was and what it was FULLY capable of; it easily vanquished the threat to its loved ones and its society. Today, as an adult, the allegory is clear – those unfamiliar with this delightful animated story should search Youtube for, ‘Lambert the Sheepish Lion.’ (story and 1 audio file)

Criminal Banksters effectively control Congress/Government
Jerry Mazza via reed, Wednesday, Apr 28 2010, 8:32pm
The Big Six investment banks, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup, Bank of America and Wells Fargo, are “shorting the American Dream,” according to economist Simon Johnson and entrepreneur James Kwak in an interview on April 16, “Financial Regulation and Regulatory Capture” on Bill Moyers Journal. Here’s a summary of the big and important ideas and issues on the table.

The New Secessionists
Chris Hedges via reed, Tuesday, Apr 27 2010, 7:44pm
Acts of rebellion which promote moral and political change must be [but are rarely] nonviolent. And one of the most potent nonviolent alternatives in the country, which defies the corporate state and calls for an end to imperial wars, is the secessionist movement bubbling up in some two dozen states including Vermont, Texas, Alaska and Hawaii.

Australia’s complicity in War Crimes
liz, Monday, Apr 26 2010, 8:54pm
It is high time Aussies pulled their insular, xenophobic heads out of their arses and FACED some home truths regarding our conscious complicity in War Crimes. The most infamous and enduring in recent history is of course successive government cover-ups of the cold blooded MURDER of five Australian journalists in Balibo, in 1975. Beginning with Whitlam and (then) Foreign Minister, Gareth ‘zillions in oil’ Evans and extending to OVERT LIAR and WAR CRIMINAL John ‘aluminium tubing’ Howard and the Iraq civilian HOLOCAUST; through to the present servile government and the Sri Lankan military’s brazen summary executions of suspected LTTE fighters and the concentration of almost the entire Tamil population in camps not fit for human habitation. It should not be forgotten that the Sri Lankan ambassador to the UN, Palitha ‘only losers get tried for war crimes’ Kohona, holds dual Australian and Sri Lankan citizenship. We, as a moral nation, have RESPONSIBILITIES! (story and 2 comments and 1 image and 1 audio file)

Obama calls the 1915 Armenian Genocide an 'Atrocity'
stan, Saturday, Apr 24 2010, 9:52pm
It gets more difficult for the world’s leading civilian killing, terrorist nation to phrase criticisms of infamous historical events by the day. As each day passes, more orders are given from US Air Command and CIA facilities to CONSCIOUSLY launch missiles from UAV Drones that kill and maim countless civilians – an act which REMAINS a WAR CRIME under international Law today. [The Hague Courts have lost all credibility and openly display their corrupt bias by NOT undertaking investigations into the world’s LARGEST State run criminal organisations.] (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

The Relative Power Dynamic
kiwi, Saturday, Apr 17 2010, 10:23pm
"If not for the notion of beauty there would be no ugliness. If not for the notion of good there would be no evil. Polarities alternate one with the other [qualify each other] and are mutually bound in [perpetual conflict] opposition." -- Lao tzu.

Big Pharma and Psychiatrists are enslaving/killing you!
clare, Friday, Apr 16 2010, 9:21pm
There are numerous causes/reasons for society’s general apathy in the face of unprecedented OVERT criminality from the State. Hardly a murmur from a tranquilised public (40 million medicated in America alone) that views ongoing human rights violations daily and the brazen flouting of Laws which have protected civilised society for decades. As is clearly evident today, nations, particularly the USA, OPENLY engage in mass murder/HOLOCAUSTS and the most HEINOUS CRIMINAL ACTIVITY without any effective reaction from an almost completely PACIFIED PUBLIC, how so?
