Not Good, America
harley, Saturday, Aug 29 2009, 10:30pm
Commentators constantly bemoan America’s new fascist direction and spend much time and MISPLACED energy writing reams and reams of material against the new AMERICAN FASCISM. This obsessive and linear endeavour has a very dangerous consequence; it has blinded the commentators and the people to the groundswell of discontent rapidly growing in nations that have not been SUBJECTED to the constant mis/disinformation characteristic of the American mass media. I must END my contribution to the mix of soporific diatribes that today passes for news and information. Whether reporting is accurate or blatant propaganda, it only serves to feed drones by virtue of a medium which promotes PASSIVE consumption only! (story and 1 audio file)

Sovereignty or corrupt Puppet government?
Joseph Ellis via finn, Monday, Aug 17 2009, 10:24pm
From the very beginning of our national history, Americans have been arguing about the proper role of government. Put succinctly, the dispute is between those who regard government as "them" and those who see it as "us."
Our two founding documents embody the tension in its classical form. The Declaration of Independence locates sovereignty in the individual citizen, who possesses the rights of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness," as Thomas Jefferson so lyrically put it, and the power of government is described as an alien force that must be put on the permanent defensive. The mind-numbed, volition-devoid MASSES
Joel S. Hirschhorn via nano, Monday, Aug 17 2009, 9:46pm
As we approach the eighth anniversary of 9/11 consider this paradox. In the post 9-11 years the scientific evidence for disbelieving the official government story has mounted incredibly. And the number of highly respected and credentialed professionals challenging the official story has similarly expanded. Yet, to the considerable disappointment of the international 9/11 truth movement, the objective fact is that there are no widespread, loud demands for a new government-backed 9/11 investigation. The 9/11 truth movement is the epitome of a marginalized movement, one that never goes away despite not achieving truly meaningful results, which in this case means replacing official lies with official truth. What has gone wrong?

Internet manageability: a LOST cause!
Kismo, Sunday, Aug 16 2009, 11:14pm
I would state at the outset that elite hackers roam the ‘wire’ at WILL, as they have been doing since leaving drone regulators, policing agencies AND Internet ‘security’ companies in the proverbial shade -- never have so few had so much influence over so many (see link). In fact, as is clearly stated in a previous article, it is now possible for an elite group of ‘Uber’ hackers to take down a State via, of course, the same stealth, asymmetric strategies that are characteristic of all elite groups and solo (Uber) operators; careful targeting, surprise and concentrated/coordinated force delivered secretly/anonymously from myriad invisible ‘locations!’ (story and 1 image)

ANONYMITY is POWER, you mindless morons!
Lee Harvey Osama Bin Oswald, Saturday, Aug 8 2009, 1:15am
What does it take for some to see the nose on their face? Have you all fallen for the ‘fame game’ or the narcissistic ‘look at me, aren’t I wonderful’ syndrome -- so effectively SOLD to the masses by the western media! Have you not realised yet the IMMENSE POWER that resides in ANONYMITY? In today’s contractionist culture, anonymity is FREEDOM! (story and 1 image)

Oz Puppet leadership, but at what cost?
barra, Tuesday, Aug 4 2009, 12:53am
In the wake of the Jakarta bombings and the MASSIVE FAILURE of Australian and US ‘intelligence agencies’ in detecting the OBVIOUS (see link) the Oz government has ‘pulled’ a desperate terrorist arrest and exaggerated a terrorist threat in order to appear as competent – the threat was allegedly to a MILITARY BASE on the outskirts of Sydney, a poorly 'chosen' target given the ABUNDANCE of high value ‘soft’ targets in capital cities! Racist American colony, Australia, takes another battering from BRIC
dasha, Saturday, Aug 1 2009, 1:17am
The cowardly, obedient, flea nation of the South Pacific and its shameless, servile ‘leadership’ are currently being taught a lesson not soon to be forgotten. Russia has joined its allies, India and China, in their moral, political and economic attacks on the Rudd ‘custard’ government by banning the importation of all kangaroo meat into Russia. This ban, which severely impacts Australia on a number of fronts, is too well timed to be accidental or coincidental. (story and 1 comment)

Brief History of the Shortest Lived Empire on Record, Pt. 1
Andrew Gavin Marshall via quin, Friday, Jul 31 2009, 9:53am
Introduction
“And it’s come to this;” are reputed to be the last words uttered by notorious Australian bushranger Ned Kelly before he was hanged. Today those fateful words apply to a bandit nation that chose, like Kelly, to live the hard, fast, short life of a rogue and bandit. (story and 7 comments and 5 images)

Skype, the uncrackable peer communicator
Chris Williams via Kismo, Friday, Jul 31 2009, 5:31am
"For years now a steady stream of reports and whispers have emerged that despite their batteries of supercomputers, intelligence agencies are frustrated by Skype's anonymity and strong encryption. Its base in Estonia also means the firm is out of the reach of the US lawful intercept laws and UK export legislation, which forces any firm supplying encryption technology to show GCHQ the backdoor." Oz Intelligence chiefs, a matter of shuffling Bureaucrats
finch, Wednesday, Jul 29 2009, 12:49pm
David Irvine, the ‘new’ head of ASIO pulled his head out of his bureaucratic arse today just long enough to put his foot in his mouth! ‘Fresh’ from his post as ASIS chief, he has already displayed the calibre that locals have come to expect from their, “well planned event,” (Keelty) brain dead, security chiefs!

The POWER is/in the ART and in those that produce it!

Underrated for too long, Aussie artist (actress) Toni ‘awesome’ Collette, recently accepted a challenging role for a TV series in the, bereft of talent, criminal USA. Collette plays four (five if you count Toni) characters emanating from ONE character suffering multiple personality disorder, a condition not unfamiliar to the paralysed, sedated masses! KOSOVO: US terrorist ally continues persecution of ethnic minorities
Lee Jay Walker via dusan, Sunday, Jul 26 2009, 12:44am
The former Yugoslavia was engulfed in many conflicts, ethnic and religious differences tore away at the fabric of this nation. Like all wars, atrocities took place on all sides but the mass media chose to focus on Serbian atrocities while neglecting brutal crimes committed against the Serbian community. This certainly applies to the numerous war crimes committed by the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). (story and 1 comment and 2 images)

The End of the World as we know it!
quin, Friday, Jul 24 2009, 10:49pm
At the most critical period of our very short history, instead of recovery, WE ARE CHARGING FULL SPEED TO OUR COLLECTIVE DESTRUCTION; it seems this (insane) pursuit is the best we can manage in the current circumstances – how utterly tragic!
WE need not have taken this course but the Cheney's, Obama's and all the other puppet ‘leaders,’ installed by Corporate/Bankster ruling minorities, have DECIDED FOR US; so WE, in ALL OUR COLLECTIVE 'WISDOM' AND limitless COMPLACENCY, allowed ourselves to be herded BY SELF-CONFESSED CRIMINALS, PSYCHOPATHS and ROGUES, baa’aa – give me a break! Obama: More Polished Than the Last Puppet
Cindy Sheehan via rialator, Wednesday, Jul 22 2009, 10:14pm
Okay, so the United States of America has had a new puppet regime for six months now. I was never so much into giving Obama a “chance” and I think it’s way past time to call Obama and his supporters out, like we called Bush and his supporters out. Our Presidents are merely puppets for the Robber Class and Obama is no exception. (story and 1 image and 1 audio file)

Competence and good governance are required Mr Rudd, NOT more Laws!
Kingfisher, Wednesday, Jul 22 2009, 1:10am
Faced with Real issues, Rio Tinto exec arrest, Balibo justice, water polluting Uranium/BHP mining etc, the show pony PM of Australia, Kevin ‘photo shoot’ Rudd, opts for diversion – creating more laws -- rather than addressing and dealing with problems head-on! It’s a matter of COMPETENCE, the principal quality lacking in Oz government today! (story and 1 comment)

In an Impotent World even Criminal Aggression is Tolerated
Paul Craig Roberts via reed, Tuesday, Jul 21 2009, 12:24am
"The Russians and Chinese are off balance because of successful American interventions in their spheres of influence, uncertain of the threat and the response. Russia could have prevented the coming attack on Iran, but, pressured by Washington, Russia has not delivered the missile systems that Iran purchased. China suffers from her own hubris as a rising economic power, and is about to lose her energy investments in Iran to US/Israeli aggression. China is funding America’s wars of aggression with loans, and Russia is even helping the US to set up a puppet state in Afghanistan, thus opening up former Soviet central Asia to US hegemony.
