The two winners of the 2008 presidential election: fear and war
Larry Chin via reed, Friday, Mar 7 2008, 7:09am
The 2008 US presidential charade has already been decided. Come November, the next White House occupant (who will be installed via political malfeasance, computer vote theft and other election “irregularities”) will be the puppet who proves to be the most effective in echoing Bush-Cheney’s “war on terrorism” lies, and expanding the Bush-Cheney “national security” agenda. Kosovo without the Lies
captain amerika, Thursday, Mar 6 2008, 9:08pm
78 days of US/NATO bombing on Yugoslavia was specifically designed to separate Kosovo from the Yugoslav/Serbian State. An oil and gas pipeline corridor planned for the ‘western’ Balkans was and is the primary factor/reason for Western intervention in the Balkans. (story and 1 image)

Of Fleas and Rodents
dingo, Thursday, Mar 6 2008, 5:06am
Hard reality hasn’t deterred our lying little rodent, John Howard. Addressing a conservative ‘think tank’ in Washington Howard slammed the Rudd government for reversing his economic policies and labour ‘reforms.’ The ‘small matter’ of the largest foreign debt in Australia’s history -- incurred under Howard and Costello -- was conveniently ignored by our lying rodent, Johnny. Here’s a taste of REALITY Mr Howard – $610 BILLION hangs over the head of the nation like a guillotine thanks to you and Costello! Who do you trust, indeed, you reprehensible LIAR! NATO/EU hypocrisy and the demonisation of Serbs
Ljiljana Smajlovic via rialator, Wednesday, Mar 5 2008, 7:30am
BELGRADE, Serbia -- As editor-in-chief of Serbia's oldest and most prestigious daily newspaper, Politika, I am at a loss to explain the West's stubborn support for Kosovo independence to my readers. Only nine years ago, my country was bombed for 78 days by the most powerful military alliance the world has ever seen, and the last thing I want is to pour oil over the fire of anti-Western sentiment. But the truth is, I find myself grappling with the same bitterness and resentment as most of my countrymen. (story and 2 comments)

A “lucid” Ramos-Horta calls for investigation
finn, Monday, Mar 3 2008, 10:21pm
It is clear from the few statements made by the now conscious Ramos-Horta that he either has no recollection (prolonged induced coma) of events surrounding his shooting or he has been fed erroneous information. The possibility he has been coerced also remains high. (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

Independent Kosovo: a ‘unique’ impossibility
peptide, Monday, Mar 3 2008, 8:14am
Destabilising the Balkans will prove to be the undoing of the EU and US. The major factors contributing to destabilisation are the intolerable violation of international law and convention; the illegal dismemberment of a sovereign state and the installation of a known murderer, drug and arms dealer, Hashim Thaci, as puppet leader of a pretend ‘nation!’

Oral history from a Serbian fireside
svetlana, Friday, Feb 29 2008, 9:38am
As a young girl I remember sitting by the fire at my Baba’s [grandmother's] feet listening to her stories of our family’s and national history. I was reminded of one frightening tale as I listened to a radio broadcast stating that Germany is increasing its forces in Kosovo – we know the extent to which Germany has trained and militarily supported Muslim and other secessionists in the former Yugoslavia. It is not with trepidation that I welcome the news; I embrace the opportunity to fight as my grandmother once did against the Nazis when she was a young girl. I welcome the news that the neo-Nazis are stepping into the fray themselves – I will do my family and nation proud. (story and 1 image)

The EU and US rant over Kosovo
Milan, Thursday, Feb 28 2008, 1:15pm
An interesting turn of events occurred regarding the Serbian province of Kosovo. No more do we hear from the 'brave' Albanian ‘leader,’ Thaci, making declarations that HE will defend every “inch” of Kosovo – apparently he has retreated to the protection of Madeleine Albright’s skirt. Thaci is aware that if he pokes his nose from under the U.S. skirt it will get shot off! (story and 2 images)

A Jolie bad show
gan, Thursday, Feb 28 2008, 9:17am
Today’s click on my news aggregator produced a curious item; Angelina Jolie in Iraq pleading with General David Petraeus to assist the millions of Iraqi refugees. Might I assist and remind our ineffective ‘pretty little thing’ that Rumsfeld made it clear when he stated that American forces are “NOT nation builders” or humanitarians. Carried in the sub-text is the cruel Truth; the American military corps are amphetamine-crazed KILLERS, destroyers, spoilers and TORTURERS -- that is the hard reality. (story and 2 images)

Washington gets a [temporary] new colony in the Balkans
Sara Flounders via reed, Wednesday, Feb 27 2008, 9:53pm
In evaluating the recent "declaration of independence" by Kosovo, a province of Serbia, and its immediate recognition as a state by the U.S., Germany, Britain and France, it is important to know three things.
First, Kosovo is not gaining independence or even minimal self-government. It will be run by an appointed High Representative and bodies appointed by the U.S., European Union and NATO. An old-style colonial viceroy and imperialist administrators will have control over foreign and domestic policy. U.S. Imperialism has merely consolidated its direct control of a totally dependent colony in the heart of the Balkans.

Evil empires and disturbed dictators
goran, Wednesday, Feb 27 2008, 11:45am
This portrait of Hitler speaks volumes; the hysterically effeminate representation was a personal favourite of Hitler’s – much to the consternation of his propaganda/media advisers. The German dictator and mass murderer clearly reveals his aberrant personality by allowing this obviously queer and screamingly effeminate representation to be shown in public. [Hitler’s sexuality is known to have been extremely ‘problematic’ – western propaganda notwithstanding.] (story and 2 images)

Thaci: muslim terrorist becomes delusional
dusan, Tuesday, Feb 26 2008, 12:23pm
Muslim terrorist and crime boss, Hashim Thaci, has become delusional; he imagines that he leads a nation when in fact he remains a criminal who leads only an Albanian criminal syndicate. Thaci stated he is prepared “to defend every inch of his territory (Kosovo)” -- spoken like a true mafia crime boss; old habits die hard don’t they, Hashim? Reality, however, dictates that Kosovo remains legally, historically, culturally and territorially Serbian, and that is that! So exactly what is it you are actually defending, Hashim, the spoils of crime; we would all like to know? (story and 1 comment)

Washington and Hashim Thaci – a criminal alliance
finch, Monday, Feb 25 2008, 8:10am
Washington -- as divorced from reality and as thoroughly incompetent as ever -- is labouring under the misapprehension that it is able to indefinitely ignore International Law and dismember Sovereign European States! It is clear America persists with its ‘stunningly astute’ “mission accomplished,” “bouquet of flowers,” “known unknowns,” “broken the back of the insurgency” DREAM WORLD! However, analysts are aware that Washington’s latest statements are the result of panic and impending ECONOMIC and INSTITUTIONAL COLLAPSE. Reality dictates it is America that faces ruin. The Audacity of Hopelessness
Frank Rich via reed, Sunday, Feb 24 2008, 11:24am
When people one day look back at the remarkable implosion of the Hillary Clinton campaign, they may notice that it both began and ended in the long dark shadow of Iraq. It’s not just that her candidacy’s central premise — the priceless value of “experience” — was fatally poisoned from the start by her still ill-explained vote to authorize the fiasco. Senator Clinton then compounded that 2002 misjudgment by pursuing a 2008 campaign strategy that uncannily mimicked the disastrous Bush Iraq war plan. After promising a cakewalk to the nomination — “It will be me,” Mrs. Clinton told Katie Couric in November — she was routed by an insurgency. (story and 1 image)

Legally Justified
major mitchell, Sunday, Feb 24 2008, 10:31am
The removal by force, if peaceful requests continue to be ignored, of all foreign invading forces and military bases from Serbian territories is DEMANDED by the people of Serbia! Russia and China are in no position to delay in support of their allies; the U.S. has accelerated its deployment of offensive missile systems in a number of compliant nations – the latest installation is underway in Australia. This installation is clearly designed to target China. The USA has increased its efforts to encircle Russia and China with OFFENSIVE missile weapons systems due principally to the fact that IT HAS NOT MET WITH ANY RESISTANCE! America continues to overtly flout laws, conventions and treaties in its bid for world domination – there is absolutely no doubt of America’s intentions! (story and 1 image)

Australian government’s infantile dependence
nano, Saturday, Feb 23 2008, 9:13pm
It seems America is desperate to get Oz on board with its more theological than technological missile defence shield. However, Americans always give the game away with overkill – the flight manual in Arabic conveniently left at Boston airport (9/11) followed by US military supplied (oops) anthrax letters are notable examples of American (idiot) overkill.

Australia’s great shame is its lack of National Identity

The visiting American Secretary of Defence has highlighted the great shame of Australia. The ‘Australian’ foreign Minister, who is clearly out of his depth with the Americans, announced to the uninformed Oz public today that the nation will be participating in the new, uncertain, missile shield technology, which is primarily designed to protect American interests and military installations! Once were Aussies!
dingo, Thursday, Feb 21 2008, 10:23am
Gone are the days of real Australian leaders; only a few decades past Australian leaders threatened to close the American installation at Pine Gap because the Americans refused to share information or allow access to the site. The very colourful raid on ASIO ordered by the Whitlam government due to the reluctance of ASIO bureaucrats to supply information to the democratically elected Prime Minister is another memorable event. Even that miserable little Zionist, Bob Hawke, stated at the time of an official visit to Washington that Australia, though an ally and friend has its OWN OPINION and VIEW and that views of the respective nations were likely to differ radically at times – WHATEVER HAPPENED TO AUSTRALIA AND INDEPENDENT LEADERSHIP? Serbs vent anger before getting down to ‘business’
dragan, Wednesday, Feb 20 2008, 11:19pm
The indomitable will of Serbia is rousing. Thousands of Serbs are converging on Belgrade and other capitals around the globe to demonstrate against the illegal secession of Kosovo, the heartland of the Serbian nation. In a show of national solidarity, UNITY OF WILL AND PURPOSE, Serbs are informing the world that KOSOVO IS SERBIA! Secessionists, invaders and occupiers beware, a UNIFIED people defy your feeble declarations and assaults on their sovereignty. (story and 3 comments and 3 images)
