War Crazy USA Launches 112 Tomahawk Missiles into Libya
Robert Burns via quill, Saturday, Mar 19 2011, 9:05pm
The U.S. military attacked Moammar Gadhafi’s air defenses Saturday with strikes along the Libyan coast that were launched by Navy vessels in the Mediterranean. A senior military official said the assault would unfold in stages and target air defense installations around Tripoli, the capital, and a coastal area south of Benghazi. That’s the rebel stronghold under attack by Moammar Gadhafi’s forces. (story and 1 image)

Critics of Japanese Storage System See a Worse-Than-Chernobyl Scenario Ahead
Faye Flam via stele, Saturday, Mar 19 2011, 8:51pm
With attention focused on tons of radioactive spent fuel that may have ignited, some experts say the Japanese will be lucky if the stricken Fukushima plant creates a disaster only the size of Chernobyl in 1986. (story and 1 comment)

Anti-hacking firm RSA gets hacked
Lawrence Latif via reed, Friday, Mar 18 2011, 8:06am
It seems the elite (anonymous) hacker underground is targeting IT Corporates and teaching them a lesson in SKILL and STRATEGY. [A widely known fact in the hacker community but little known in the general community, is that Corporatists are only able to enlist 5th rate hackers/security staff, as elite crewz and skilled hackers possess ideological integrity and would never assist the enemy. Also, elite hackers cannot be tempted with toilet paper dollars, as money is no problem for hackers - LOL!]

jalal, Wednesday, Mar 16 2011, 10:28pm
In one of the most flagrant cases of corruption and LEGAL injustice that Pakistan has recently witnessed, murdering CIA agent and Drone target spotter -- which means he is also RESPONSIBLE for countless civilian deaths, including women and children – was allowed to walk free after US officials exchanged American toilet paper money, which they PRINT from thin air on demand, for the life and freedom of a heinous criminal murderer of innocent men, women and children – for GOD’s SAKE, people!

Criminally negligent TEPCO Execs not the Exception in Japan but the Rule
quin, Wednesday, Mar 16 2011, 10:24am
A little familiarity with Japanese history reveals a tradition of criminal corruption and deception from the highest echelons of society to the lowest – it’s a way of life! The deceptive and criminal behaviour of directors at Tokyo Electric, which included falsifying safety records and hiding rather than correcting problems at nuclear power plants, stems from a certain privileged class consciousness that considers itself above the law and regards the masses as nothing better than (expendable) serfs. Dai-ichi Reactor #4 in flames as Personnel Evacuated due to Dangerous levels of Radiation
stew, Tuesday, Mar 15 2011, 10:16pm
Fires in reactor #4 at the Fukushima nuclear power plant were most likely caused by hydrogen build-up or heat generated from spent fuel rods exposed to the atmosphere, or both. However, the later seems to be the case as fires were accompanied by very high levels of radiation issuing from the reactor -- the result of spent fuel rods breaking down and releasing poisonous radioactive particles into the environment due to loss of cooling. Australia is reputed to be one of the oldest and most stable land masses on the planet, so when it experiences a magnitude 4 earthquake following the devastating Pacific Rim quakes from NZ, Japan and that mysterious earth rupture in Peru, it’s time to ask geophysicists and other specialists what the fuck is going on? Fukushima #3 nuclear reactor Explodes, situation under control, Really?
staff report via gan, Sunday, Mar 13 2011, 11:17pm
I'm no double-talking politician or conservative scientist under political pressure, ALL I KNOW is WHAT I SEE and explosions do not indicate a situation 'under control!' Furthermore, the presence of poisonous radioactive Cesium in the atmosphere after the first explosion is a clear indication -- I have recently learned -- of a CORE MELTDOWN, but that was under-emphasised/reported at the time as is this latest 'trivial' explosion at Dai-ichi reactor #3, in one of the World's LARGEST nuclear power plants! There is NO excuse or justification for TORTURE, Obama
