Conroy, considered worst Communicatons Minister to date!
Mandatory information censorship is a suicide pill for any Oz government but none swallowed it more effectively than Rudd's Murdoch controlled Lay-bore government of bereft incompetents. And Stephen Conroy takes 'star' billing as incompetent #1. Peter 'backflip' Garrett whose anti-uranium stance had all the integrity of a chameleon in a paint shop, is ecstatic that Conroy has taken the albatross from around his neck.

THE federal Government's communications policies have taken a battering in a survey that attracted about 20,000 respondents.
According to the annual survey from broadband forum Whirlpool, 89.9 per cent of respondents said they would choose to opt out of the Government's plans to introduce a mandatory "clean feed" internet filter, if it goes ahead.
The survey also gauged public reaction to the Government's $15billion national broadband network and found 78per cent of respondents rated the handling of the process as somewhere between "poor" and "abysmal".
But it was not only the Government's broadband policies that took a beating in the survey, which attracted views from industry figures and consumers.
Communications Minister Stephen Conroy was rated less effective than former Liberal communications ministers Richard Alston and Helen Coonan.

[To be considered less competent than $6 million for $150K web package, Richard Alston, is the most cutting comparison of all. Conroy will no doubt be put on detention and made to write a 1000 times, "I must always define my terms before introducing 'unwanted content' into political rhetoric." (Would someone just flush this tragic excuse for a government and get it over with!)
Rudd will soon be in Washington to receive new orders from Obama and Murdoch -- don't it just fill you with pride knowing how brave and independent thinking we Aussies really are?]
