US Corporate Profits surge, as [our] Economy slows
Alexander Osipovich via fleet, Tuesday, Aug 2 2011, 9:51am
Yes, Jethro, there really are 2 economies -- one booming economy for Bankers and Corporatists and the other stagnating economy for the shit-eating public! Today's 'Economy' now emulates the Legal/Judicial system; the rich and powerful rarely face justice while teenage pot smokers and citizens on misdemeanour charges could end up with 20 year jail sentences!

Rabid Neo-Con Imperialist Spells Out Real US Foreign Policy
John Bolton via joe, Thursday, Jul 21 2011, 12:32am
John Bolton is a neo-con able to put a sentence together so make no mistake regarding the militaristic, permanent war views of the neo-fascist American Right. Referring to Libya, Bolton's view could probably be summed up in the following extract:
"But in the last four months, neither America nor its NATO allies have successfully identified and strengthened (quietly or otherwise), a truly significant cadre of pro-Western voices in Libya." [Emphasis added.]
Whatever happened to the SOVEREIGNTY OF NATIONS, Mr. Bolton? (story and 1 image)

NATO will be Defeated in Libya
Gerald A. Perreira via reed, Friday, Jul 15 2011, 12:09am
The argument in Libya has been won by the Al Fateh revolution. There is now a glaring truth confronting the North Atlantic Terrorist Organization (NATO) – Muammar Qaddafi has handed out over one million kalashnikovs to the Libyan people. If he was the brutal dictator that NATO would have us believe him to be, then the armed population could have turned their guns on him and the revolutionary armed forces by now, especially as they would have NATO’s full backing if they did so. "Why Did You Lie to Me?"
stele, Tuesday, Jul 12 2011, 11:37pm
Facing 60% local opposition to the Goldman Sachs Carbon Tax, Juliar Gillard has been ordered to get out there and sell the un-mandated, unwanted, Carbon Con to the Australian public; but after today's confrontation with an irate woman, who clearly didn't appreciate Gillard gaining office on a BIG LIE, her handlers may think again before exposing their PUPPET to the public at large! No effect on Climate Whatsoever but Banks stand to rake in Huge Carbon Profits
bluey, Tuesday, Jul 12 2011, 10:11pm
Is it any wonder Banks stand to make huge profits from a Banker -- Goldman Sachs -- designed Carbon Trading Scheme, wake up world, you’re being conned, AGAIN!
Sometimes I wonder what it takes to get the message home. Recent history is saturated with EXPOSURES of the criminal intrigues of Banks, Oil Transnationals, massive Financial and Corporatist FRAUD -- responsible for ALL the wars that rage today and of course the ‘minor’ issue of a GLOBAL ECONOMIC COLLAPSE, all directly caused by Bankers, Big Finance and Corporatists! YET the reality of criminal leadership hasn’t hit home!

The Strauss-Kahn circus – 'Rape' case collapses!
stele, Thursday, Jun 30 2011, 11:43pm
Semen, semen, everywhere and all the maids did shrink; semen, semen, everywhere and not a case to stick! In what now amounts to a clean removal from political and economic power – threat to the French presidency and IMF operations -- Dominique Strauss-Kahn is now set to walk from suspicious ‘rape’ and sexual assault charges; the case against him is collapsing in tatters on the luxury hotel’s, semen-stained floor. Clearly, overkill is not required, DSK has been effectively neutralised and the world’s ruling elite seems averse to crucifying one of its own – though the arrogant, maverick, Frenchman caused much grief with his refusal to implement harsh economic austerity measures in Europe. Plans by elite central Banksters to debt-shackle weak European nations cannot be compromised. (story and 1 image)

The Perversity of American Empire
staff report via ryall, Monday, Jun 27 2011, 10:19am
Characteristic of the lunacy that is the rapidly failing American Empire is the cost of air-conditioning for occupation forces in Central Asia. A staggering $20.2 billion annually, which exceeds NASA's entire budget, is wasted so America can fly its flag in unhospitable deserts half way around the globe.
If not for the fact the US prints the world's reserve currency (the greenback) America would already be bankrupt. Perhaps nations that hold the lion's share of US debt may reconsider putting an end to the misery of the American population at home and people in occupied nations by dumping their dollar reserves. By supporting the dollar China and Russia share equally in the destructive madness of US Empire today! (story and 1 comment and 1 image)

USA NOT China is the major threat to resource rich nations
freddy, Wednesday, Jun 22 2011, 10:16am
Whether the linked news report is a feeble attempt to sell Gillard's "enthusiastic" subservience to America to the Oz public -- she signed off on FIVE (5) full scale US military bases of OCCUPATION while in Washington -- or whether clearly CRAFTED news reports are designed to take pressure off the most unpopular PM in Oz history is unknown at this stage, but attempting to portray China as an aggressor salivating over our resource rich North, which they would have to mine after invading and conquering the nation, is so absurd and preposterous that it could pass for American mainstream 'news!' Western Media suffers selective Blindness
uri, Saturday, Jun 11 2011, 11:21am
The corporate propaganda machine known as the western media is doing itself no favours selectively reporting 'news.' The huge demonstrations and social uprisings in Greece against the IMF, European Reserve Bank and imposed austerity measures, barely rate a mention but Libya, the darling war of Bankers and Oil companies, gains saturation coverage. Social 'revolutions' in the Middle East and North Africa fomented by the CIA gain huge coverage but popular PEOPLE'S revolutions in Europe are ignored. (story and 2 comments)

Big Banks required Secret Emergency Loans from NY Fed in '08
buster, Thursday, May 26 2011, 10:25pm
We know today that Capitalism failed completely in 2008, it is currently on 'QE2' life support waiting desperately for the Global introduction of a PENALTY (Carbon) Economy to replace Capitalisms failed Production Economy; so it should come as no surprise that large financial institutions required a 'monetary transfusion' at that time -- the fact that these dealings were kept secret is in character with the methods employed by financial elites to manipulate the global economy and maintain debt slavery as the primary method of social control and Imperial supremacy!

China’s recent Bravado, Hot ‘Yellow’ Air
stan, Thursday, May 19 2011, 8:42pm
China is attempting to assert itself on the world stage by warning “in unequivocal terms that any attack on Pakistan would be construed as an attack on China!” Cop that world, we are pretending we have balls! However, after China’s COWARDLY display with traditional ally Yugoslavia and witnessing Bill Clinton laugh openly after intentionally targeting the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade and killing a number of Chinese officials, please accept our incredulity as a response to your feeble mouse squeaks and that notwithstanding China’s paralysis in direct view of America's latest imperial war in North Africa. We can see them all shaking in their shoes in Washington, as they roll on the floor laughing at the giant yellow mouse that aspires to superpower status – what a pathetic joke! It’s ACTIONS, NOT WORDS that convince and demand respect. (story and 1 comment)

Security fears for US Navy Seal team

Deceased American comedian, Bill Hicks, once joked about a US president with integrity and how the real ruling elite would take him alone into a viewing room and show him repeat footage of the Kennedy assassination 'from a completely new angle' to drive the message home that US presidents either do what they're told or end up dead meat. The Libyan War, American Power and the Decline of the Petrodollar System
Peter Dale Scott via nano, Friday, Apr 29 2011, 9:15am
The present NATO campaign against Gaddafi in Libya has given rise to great confusion, both among those waging this ineffective campaign, and among those observing it. Many whose opinions I normally respect see this as a necessary war against a villain – though some choose to see Gaddafi as the villain, and others point to Obama.
