Labor support slumps to record low in latest poll

Lying bitch Oz PM, Julia Gillard – ‘my government will never introduce a carbon tax’ – has taken a predictable hammering in the latest polls; primarily as a consequence of her LACK of INTEGRITY regarding introducing a Carbon Tax; notwithstanding her shameless kowtowing to Transnationals, Banking and other Corporate interests.

Gillard, corporate lackey
Gillard, corporate lackey

The Australian people have clearly indicated they will eject any government that inflicts an extra tax burden on them while major CORPORATE POLLUTERS are subsidised with tax-payer money. This is NOT America, Gillard and Brown; WE do not take it in the rear like some politicians we know.

Gillard is presently in Washington practicing her knee-walking skills and parroting from scripts written for her by Corporate interests.

Yes, people, Gillard is a non-representative, shameless, lackey, traitor. See you at the polls, Julia.

From the wire and ABC:

Voter support for the Federal Government has plummeted in the first opinion poll taken since Labor announced its carbon price plan. In the first Newspoll since Prime Minister Julia Gillard announced her carbon tax plan, Labor has taken a hammering.

The survey published in the Australian newspaper shows Labor's primary vote has fallen six points to 30 per cent.

That is below the 31 per cent record low when Paul Keating was prime minister in 1993.

The coalition rose four points to 45 per cent.

Labor also trails the Coalition 46 per cent to 54 per cent after preferences, after tying with the Coalition at 50 per cent a fortnight ago.

Ms Gillard's personal popularity has also plunged.

Her lead over Opposition Leader Tony Abbott as preferred Prime Minister has halved from 22 points to 11 points.

Ms Gillard broke an election promise when she announced plans for a carbon tax in July next year before switching to an emissions trading scheme.

The details of the carbon tax and the amount of compensation are yet to be determined, and the Government has been under pressure from the Opposition to explain how the tax will affect households and the wider economy.

Acting Prime Minister Wayne Swan has acknowledged there is confusion over the plan and has tried to reassure voters about a carbon price by reminding them big polluters will directly pay and not households.

But Mr Abbott has attacked the plan, which he says is effectively an increase to the GST.
