(Bush’s “total” departure from reality speech)

The present international instability could result in one or numerous other horrendous scenarios. However, the one glaring consistency or constant in today’s international political arena is the hatred that America has attracted from the rest of the world. Regardless of any other consideration, a nation despised by all is doomed. The USA has earned its reward by its blatant double standards, hypocrisy and the serial exploitation of weaker nations. These are the direct causes of the retaliatory response on American interests worldwide. The so-called “terrorists” are only a minor distraction while the real war unfolds.

“America postures as an invincible protector; part of its performance is the absurd declaration of war on any social problem or perceived threat. In the past there was the “War on Drugs,” the “War on Crime” and now the war on the noun “Terror.” If we examine the success rate of the many ‘wars’ the US wages we see that the war on drugs is a complete failure; the war on crime has only increased the profits of organised criminals; the war on terror(ism) is being lost at an alarming rate. America has conveniently supplied the terrorists with a theatre in which to wage their war and increase their numbers. Spain, Bali and the constant bombings in Baghdad are ample proof.”

The above article was written almost a year ago. Today however, we have a variation on a theme; the Vietnam “light at the end of the tunnel” abstraction has been superseded by Bush’s “total victory” speech, delivered at Annapolis Naval Academy. The incredulous expressions on the faces of the young naval cadets ‘spoke’ louder than the stammering of Bush. No amount of finger pounding from Bush added any weight or credence to his insane claims. All we notice at present are numerous officials distancing themselves from the deficiency and lunacy that is George W. Bush.

It is hoped that the American people have learnt their lesson regarding corporate interests controlling government and placing imbecile puppets and other sordid characters in power. Surrendering those responsible for the lies of the “bouquet of flowers” invasion and subsequent war that was ‘won’ in three weeks to the ICC may prevent certain interests from pursuing profit at any cost in the future. Regardless of the specific aspect of the Bush nightmare that galvanises the people into taking remedial action, the elimination of the Bush regime has become an imperative if America is to be rehabilitated and saved. The future of the nation hangs on a precipice.

Analysts are often asked to forecast; following is a typical example [of comic relief]:

It may already be too late for America – the world is poised to dump the ‘greenback’ in favour of other currencies and standards. The placement of Chinese strategic satellites in space virtually equalises the capability of either superpower to eradicate the other. The Russians have accelerated Chinese military capability in answer to US interference in other regions. The Russian strategy is simple – give China everything it needs and allow the US and China to fight it out in the event of a major confrontation.

Due to the myopic nature of ultra-conservative politics, America fails to appreciate the consequences of its actions. Furthermore, it has become distracted by its own propaganda to the extent that the nation is wide open to attack. Homeland security is a joke, consider the amount of illegal drugs on the streets of every major American City and then consider the ‘success’ of the nation’s long "War on (the importation of) Drugs". In view of these monumental failures, consider Bush’s “total victory” speech! Renaming his babblings to the total denial or total fantasy speech would have been more appropriate. Bush’s total departure from reality is complete; the question is how many would follow?

The danger is not the ranting of a known imbecile, it is the machinery of the executive (behind Bush) that persists in its attempts to distract and convince a public that black is white or day is night. The ruse has failed. At present, the same interests that placed Bush in power are busily grooming the first female President for her future role. The illusion of change may temporarily secure the safety of those who manipulate behind the scenes but the demand for accountability and responsibility may force the shadow people into the bright light of day. Those nefarious individuals who have no regard for human life or the environment may become a familiar spectacle at the ICC, but that would depend on the will of the people [what will I hear you say?]

The Peacemakers believe the time is theirs, they feel there are no other solutions to the explosive problems of the world. Forget it! The fact that Bush, Blair and Howard remain as head of their respective governments today, clearly indicates that the people lack the fortitude, intelligence and will required to effect change for the better. The answer lies in the disciplined will of individuals and small groups that form mutually cooperative alliances when required and then withdraw (disappear) into their respective cultures (milieus). Those possessing elite skills, not the least being the complete mastery of digital technologies and layered (tunnelled) communications allowing the (unseen) transfer of ‘various forms’ of data at will.

An international economic contraction is immanent (within thirty months) a prelude to the complete collapse of the world economy. What fool would allow others to control their assets in today’s world of corporate fraud (disregard this warning at your own risk). The stock markets and banks will be the first to fail and the ‘integrity’ of those in positions of trust will succumb to ‘human frailty’. It is time to consolidate and let the dead bury the dead.

The USA will remain the pariah of the world and will continue to be targeted by those it has exploited and treated unjustly. Minor attacks will continue against US interests until the final (inevitable) nuclear strike on home soil, not delivered by the ‘hand’ of any nation. America will be the first nation to succumb to mob rule, which is not incompatible with American values of self first. The right to bear arms will prove the nations undoing – a bitter irony considering it was originally intended to safeguard the nation.

Postscript:
The above is also an indirect message to John Howard and his front bench, with an additional note. The failure to protect Australian citizens from barbaric dictatorships or illegal detention centres, for whatever reason, will result in the failure to consider your plight in the near future. Reputable accounts describe Van Nguyen, a 25-year-old Aussie of Asian extraction going to the gallows in Singapore like a well know Australian (historical figure) of Irish extraction. Faced with an unjust punishment he confronted death with a quiet dignity. The characteristic of bravery in the face of total despair is not confined to the Australian character but it is definitely beyond the apprehension of types like Howard, Ruddock and Downer.
