Fried Pig: Sydney police (genius) Tasers self!
by Captain Saturday, Feb 21 2009, 8:53pm
international / social/political / commentary

When it comes to incompetent, corrupt, cowardly pigs it’s hard to beat Australia’s own. I have direct experience with these cowardly, INCOMPETENT, scum. Five of the arseholes kicked the shit out of me for SIX HOURS while I was handcuffed and tied to a chair before threatening me with my life and then intimidating members of my family by stating that if I pursued them in court for THEIR CRIMINAL BEHAVIOUR, I would be found in an alley with a syringe in the back of my head! This they do to people with Masters Degrees in the Social Sciences and Advertising, Journalism majors – another example of police Public Relations genius!

After adopting a new identity I joined the services and received specialist training in KILLING and other effective 'niceties' – allegiance to my comrades in the services prevents me revealing all. However, I have no such allegiance to the PIGS or POLITICIANS -- be advised you reprehensible cocksuckers!

It would be ‘lost’ on the NSW police to re-state that a Taser is NOT a close quarters weapon, notwithstanding the idiot that fried himself is obviously ‘trigger happy.’

Sydney residents remember the appalling and cowardly incident of five pigs opening fire and murdering a hapless mental patient in waist-deep water in the surf at Bondi beach – fortunately the entire incident was captured by the media for posterity.

Hopefully that footage would have been utilised in PIG training seminars; however, the recent murder of a 15yo youth by three armed police in Melbourne would indicate otherwise – Australia clearly must ENDURE more INCOMPETENCE and injury from our clowns in blue. [I could mention the Police State tactics at the APEC summit but I won’t.]

However, never forget that responsibility for State Institutional INCOMPETENCE must be accepted by ‘GOVERNMENT;’ you know, those lackeys that are only capable of taking orders from FAT CATS that have recently destroyed the world economy!

Give me a fuckin’ break!

AAP report follows:

The officer Tasered himself in the struggle, injuring his arm.

The policeman was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to St Vincent's Hospital where he received treatment for minor burns.

A man was arrested and taken to The Rocks police station where he was charged with common assault, resisting arrest and malicious damage.

O my, we got your attention with that one! Only 24 hours after posting the above article the Australian House of Representatives obsessed over "identity fraud," complete with references to the Old Testament and William Shakespeare, for Christ's sake!

Perhaps I should have added that all changes of identity were carried out in accordance with the LAW -- something foreign to John Howard and the rest of you scurrilous, vile scum in Parliament.

In other words, gentlemen, all name changes were/are LEGAL! The failure in detecting or connecting to previous identities was YOURS, as usual!

We are so fast to point the finger at others we forget our own appalling level of competence. Take stock of yourselves, you bunch of sub-standard, bureaucratic, timid shits.

We could open a floodgate of COMPROMISING MATERIAL if pressed -- be my fuckin guest! The LEGAL ARENA is the appropriate space to sort you lot, go for it, you dunces!

You made very clear to the public, with your inane assessments in Parliament, that criminals are 5 steps ahead of you, how much more then the exceptional in society? They are aware we are led by incompetents and criminals (in high office). However, the day is fast approaching gentlemen, the people are no longer deceived.

JUSTICE WILL BE DONE, you inept criminals!

Take a good look at yourselves before knee-jerking, or would you prefer compromising yourselves in public again, morons!

Bureaucrats are and have always been, very average achievers -- the drudgery crew, the anal set that attempt to compensate for their failings with narcissism, don't they, Kevin and Mal -- pathetic!

Good luck fleas, we are 10 steps ahead of the criminals, that adds to quite some distance from YOU lackluster clowns!

Here's a reminder of YOUR criminality and fate:

Now searching for video evidence of Tony Blair's infamous '45 minute' attack LIE and John Howard's ridiculous 'aluminium tubing,' nuclear LIE. The simple FACT is, gentlemen, YOU ARE CRIMINALS of the worst order -- over one million innocent lives lost to your criminal deceptions -- who pays gentlemen? YOU PAY!!! You can sweat on it!

A little question for the current, spineless, Oz LACKEY government, headed by 'B-grade man,' Bureaucrat, Kevin '07' Rudd: 'You have proof and evidence from the NSW coroner of the identities of the murderers of the BALIBO FIVE -- ACT ON IT you UNSPEAKABLE, LACKEY, COWARD!!! No other nation would tolerate KNOWN murderers of its citizens going free, you spineless shit!

Truth, Lies and Intelligence -- doco by Carmel Travers

29 June, 2005: ...The article described the background to the doco screened on SBS last Thursday called Truth, Lies and Intelligence, arguing what we have known from day one — namely that the Iraq war was based on a litany of lies — and what happened to the producer Carmel Travers during the making of it. She was the former head of Ten’s News and Current Affairs and a veteran producer.

In the middle of making the film, Carmel was "raided" by officers from the A-G’s department (shorthand for ASIO), who "cleansed" her computers of material they claimed could be a threat to national security and her hard drive was destroyed.

They didn’t bother introducing themselves but behaved like the Gestapo, becoming more bullying and threatening with each exchange.

Travers was one of a number of computers on the spooks’ hit-list and the thread appears to have been an email of an early draft of the book Axis of Deceit by former intelligence officer and whistleblower Andrew Wilkie, who resigned from the Office of National Assessments in 2003 in protest at our involvement in the war, material available everywhere and discussed throughout the world.

The SBS program Dateline, which ran a segment on the "cleansing of her computers, has established that at least five other people received the same draft of Wilkie’s book, and that each one has received a visit from the "government cleansing squad". The book had already been on sale for some months when the "cleansing" took place.

Dateline reported that virtually everybody involved in the production of the book had signed an agreement with the government preventing them from talking about how the book was censored. "Dateline understands that breaking this agreement can result in a jail term, and that the government initially tried to prevent anyone from even disclosing the fact that the book had been censored at all."

Because of the agreement that he had signed with the Commonwealth, Wilkie could comment on what had been censored from the book.

Dateline continued: "On the fifth floor of this building in central Melbourne are the offices of Black Inc, Andrew Wilkie’s publishers. The government cleansing squad spent a week here, going through every computer the draft manuscript had been stored on. After taking legal advice, no-one from the company was prepared to appear on camera."

Dateline went on to reveal how the government had come to know the contents of the book before it was published — a lawyer who had been asked to check for any inadvertent breaches of national security in the draft, had taken the manuscript to the Attorney-General’s Department, "without consulting either the author or publisher."

Carmel Travers later checked out the powers of the raiders, and of course, as we know, found they were within their legal bounds to behave in that way. A few years ago, ASIO was given the power to act like a virus by deleting or altering data on a computer.

The most disturbing part is that the "computer cleansing" incident was buried in a TV guide, and otherwise ignored by Australia’s print media. As I said in submissions sent re-ASIO’s powers, the legislation was a determination to curb dissent, to shut us up. (See article opposite)

A sobering reminder of the freedoms we have lost in the last few years and the dangerous direction we are going in. A giant step to becoming a police state. The least readers can do is talk about the intimidation used to try and stop the story from coming out.

And congratulations to Carmel Travers for finishing the film.

Govt accused of cover-up over Iraq war minutes
by staff report AFP via reed - AFP Thursday, Feb 26 2009, 8:21am

LONDON (AFP) — The government said Tuesday it would veto publication of minutes from ministerial discussions about the legality of the 2003 invasion of Iraq, immediately drawing accusations of a cover-up.

Anti-war campaigners believe the minutes may conceal damaging information about how then prime minister Tony Blair's government reached the decision to support the US-led invasion.

However, current Prime Minister Gordon Brown's administration fears publishing the minutes may hinder ministers' ability to speak freely at confidential weekly Cabinet meetings.

"Confidentiality serves to promote thorough decision-making," Justice Secretary Jack Straw told parliament's lower House of Commons.

"Disclosure of the Cabinet minutes in this case jeopardises that space for thought and debate at precisely the point where it has its greatest utility.

"In short, the damage that disclosure of the minutes in this instance would far outweigh any corresponding public interest in their disclosure."

Some lawmakers greeted his announcement with cries of "shame!"

One who supported his decision was Lord Robin Butler, once Britain's highest ranking civil servant, who said Cabinet minutes should be exempted from the freedom of information rules under which the government had faced calls to release the minutes.

"There will always be an inhibition to candour in important discussions in government because those taking part in them will be uncertain whether what they are going to say is going to be revealed under the Freedom of Information Act or not," said Butler, who led a 2004 inquiry on government intelligence on weapons of mass destruction in the lead up to the invasion.

The government's unprecedented move came after the Information Tribunal watchdog last month ordered the release of minutes from Cabinet meetings on March 13 and 17, 2003, when ministers had discussed whether war was allowed under international law.

Campaigners are particularly keen to get hold of the minutes due to concerns about advice given to Blair's Cabinet by Peter Goldsmith, then the attorney general, or senior legal adviser.

In advice published on March 17 of that year, Goldsmith stated that military action against Iraq was legal. But Goldsmith's earlier, more equivocal counsel was not disclosed at that stage and eventually leaked out.

Goldsmith then denied that ministers had pressured him into changing his mind to rule that invading Iraq would be legal under international law, even without a second United Nations Security Council resolution.

Blair faced heavy criticism from many for backing former US president George W. Bush in invading Iraq to oust dictator Saddam Hussein despite failing to secure a second UN resolution.

Kate Hudson, chairman of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, called the veto "disgraceful," adding it was "yet another attempt to suppress public debate on the biggest political scandal in decades."

"The use of the veto cannot be justified in any way -- there is no risk to candid discussions in Cabinet as such minutes do not single out those making each point," she said.

"The disgrace of the attorney general 'changing his mind' on whether the war could be justified must be exposed in all its detail."

Straw's move was backed by the main opposition Conservative Party, although justice spokesman Dominic Grieve urged a public inquiry into Britain's involvement in the Iraq war.

Police officers avoid punishment for tasering unarmed girl
by Michael McKenna via reed - The Australian Wednesday, Mar 4 2009, 7:45am

QUEENSLAND's Crime and Misconduct Commission has refused to order disciplinary action against police, who they found used "excessive force" in holding down and tasering an unarmed teenage girl, because it happened during a trial of the controversial weapon.

After a 10-month investigation, CMC chair Robert Needham yesterday blasted the officers involved in the April tasering of the juvenile at Brisbane's Southbank, and accused Queensland Police of refusing to "objectively assess and learn" from "policing incidents".

In an extraordinary admission, Mr Needham said the CMC had offered an indemnity to police as it launched an investigation into the incident.

"The Southbank incident displayed very poor policing by the officer involved and showed a concerning pattern within QPS towards the handling of policing incidents," he added.

Last December, The Australian was forced to take legal action against police in the Queensland Children's Court to expose the tasering of the 16-year-old girl, who was shot with 50,000 volts after she had defied an order to move on because she was waiting for an ambulance to treat her sick friend.

The girl's mother last night said she was stunned by the failure to discipline the officers and would launch legal action against Queensland Police.

"She has been traumatised by this, she is a tiny girl and a dangerous weapon was used on her for no reason -- she wasn't threatening anyone," she told The Australian.

The girl, who weighs less than 50kg and cannot be named, was held down by two security guards before an officer with five years' experience shot her in the thigh.

Charges against the teenager of obstructing police were later thrown out, with Magistrate Pam Douse slamming the two police officers involved for not allowing her to stay with her unconscious friend, a girl, after an ambulance was called.

A police ethical standards unit last year recommended there be no disciplinary action against the police involved.

However, in the Children's Court last year, the police officer conceded he might have breached guidelines.

A police spokeswoman said Queensland Police would consider the issues raised by the CMC and that police training in tasers had been enhanced following the incident.
