Converge on the Capital

In the recent past an American grandmother demonstrating against the tyrant Bush, held a placard as she marched on the Capital, it read, “The Road to Hell is lined with Bushes”. It is now evident that this grandmother (who puts younger Americans to shame) was exhibiting prophetic or intuitive insight. In that period Bush was relatively tame. This American woman and true patriot is an inspiration to us all.

Had she read “Civil Disobedience” or shouted the famous cry of Patrick Henry, “give me liberty or give me death”? Probably not, she was just an ordinary American grandmother, a daughter of the American Revolution. In her, as in all Americans, resides the spirit of the revolution. America was wrested from the British by the people and in every major historical event since it has been the actions of the people that has altered the course of the nation. In every instance it was the conscience of the nation expressed through the people that ensured the preservation of the nation’s values.

Recently, a regional Australian town (Bowral) celebrated the march of its patriots to the State Capital to enlist for the Great War. The marchers were cheered, supported and fed as they walked on the Capital. The march of patriots on the Capital is now re-enacted to mark the historic event.

We are all sons and daughters of the revolution; we need only be reminded who and what we stand for! When tyrants would steal the nation and destroy its principles we are again called to action. The march and its supporters is a total event, from the north, south, east and west we converge on the Capital.

The sinister forces have no answer for a nation on the move – march for Peace, march for Life.

Remove the tyrant.

Endnote:
Dear unknown American woman, the inspiration is yours, the heartfelt message is yours, and I thank you.

Peace.
